Indian Garden Lizard Pretends To Be a Twig

I was on the forest trail when I saw this garden lizard. This Lizzy was having a good time basking in the sun on that winter morning. I moved one step closer to capture its photo and it became alert and quickly changed its position to blend itself with the twig.
I was with my friend and both of us were laughing by seeing this behaviour. These garden lizards (Calotes versicolor) are very agile creatures. If threatened, they run away quickly or they blend into their surrounding so well by using their ninja technique of camouflage.
