Noo there is lots of Dad who was involved in parenting

Great dad parenting
This is probably my favorite episode because the parents weren’t bad parents before they just lacked some knowledge and tried their best to improve what Jo suggested. You can tell how truly appreciative they all were of Jo and what she had taught them. So wholesome
Cita cita nya mau jadi apa maunya
Oh yeah,as if letting their child go in the traffic is good parenting.... Not!
U have no right to be calling others bad parents

I’ve heard so many people say “I don’t want kids because of this show” or “this is my birth control” but for me I’m really young and want kids when I’m older and more responsible and this show shows the reality of having kids and how it’s not always gonna be picture perfect it challenges me motivates me even more and educates me about kids and child development
@@chirpieone9193 thank you for the book recommendations well appreciated :)
This!
Yeah exactly. I’m 19 and plan on having kids when I’m in my late 20s but this show teaches me how not only to follow certain techniques, but you have to have patience and you HAVE to follow through. I’ve learned so much from this channel and I’m excited to start my family one day
Anyone having kids should watch every episode of supernanny and learn all the techniques Jo teaches. She mixes discipline in with lots of praise and positivity..which is what kids crave. You're so lucky to have her wisdom and experience for free just starting out with children.
I watched Supernanny religously when I was pregnant, eighteen years ago! And I thought that's it, I got this parenting in the bag! Yeah no, DD still managed to throw me curveballs I wasn't prepared for...XD
The kid with the beard 😂😂😂 they didn’t even explain it 😂😂😂

Hahah yeah it kind of made sense
That’s hilarious. I rushed to the comments just to see if anyone caught that

I think it was part of teaching the kids how to be creative on any medium but the room walls.
So some boys were VERY creative 😆
I wonder what pencils they used and how hard it was to wash them off again.
Honestly these are the best parents I've seen on this show. Sure they made lots of mistakes but they had their hearts in the right place and they were eager and willing to put in the work, so they did!
For the most part, they had everything in place, they just didn't do it right. Like the dad had it wrong that you don't ADD 3 minutes to the timeout.. you just reset the 3 minutes. He also was too strict about it.
2fyy
Yeah I was thinking just about to comment that
I love these parents. I identify with them so much.
I thought they were great too! Very open and patient 🥰

I love how this dad learned to be patient with the oldest son. Her instructions to the parent were fantastic! I loved the part when he encouraged his son when the son was hard on himself. We need more dads like Mr. Beck. Thank you Jo Frost for helping this family.
I have been watching supernanny for many years. I'm 61 and used some of her techniques on my kids when they were young and now use them on my grandkids. They do work. 😀

Yes I agree 100 %
can she get through to my family? If so then I wish she would ;-; MAYBE THEN I WOULDN'T BE CALLED SOME HORRIBLE THINGS BY MY MOM!
I've always wondered if she really can get through to EVERY child or since it's a show they just make it seem like it. Either way she does AMAZING job!!
@@mariguevara2470 I think not. All episodes end in success, the producers would not show her failures. Nonetheless, she is an amazing nanny.
Its spelled job not jobe
We really need to bring back this TV show especially with the way people parent today
Yes
Need new Nanny, Jo is too old to chase kids now. But the show concept is needed.
Yes, but change the techniques. Be realistic and spank their bottoms.
@@dianerathgeber1526 I doubt that’s something that they’d want to promote on TV. Plus Jo teaches the parents, to teach the children, by leading by example. Like if you scream your kids are going to scream. Same with hitting, how can you teach kids not to hit, by hitting them? It just breeds resentment. Teaching them why certain bad behavior isn’t okay is the way. I hated the “because I said so” response from my parents instead of actually getting the actual reason I was in trouble growing up. Kids want connection and communication and when you give them the chance to learn they’ll surprise you with how quickly they pick those things up. Versus just spanking with no communication on why the behavior is bad in the first place.
@@kenziewenzieasmr9800 We never once thought about screaming/yelling , hitting/biting our parents. Now, it seems the norm. Kids are beating the crap out of parents while the parents say, “I don’t want to hurt him.” I say nonsense. The minute some kid hits me, HE gets hit back. And guess what. I raised 2 beautiful people who’d have never thought about hitting me or their day. Obviously, I did the right thing. Parents get what they deserve.
The fact that he understood how to say the word after putting his hand on her mouth makes me wonder if he has hearing issues and feeling her mouth is what helped him understand
That's what I was wondering as well
Jo recognized he learns by watching so she went straight to it
Nah he's just doing mimicry to shape the word on his mouth, which is why he placed his hand to his own mouth, babies do it all the time with their own parents too.
It's likely.
My favorite episode. I love how the dad is actually involved, and that there is no dramatic dynamic happening.
''Tag Team'' parenting was strong with the willingness for sure. I'm an on-call nanny and childcare provider and I love trying to figure out the tactics Jo-Jo will use. The tricky thing can be that if the parents do not work well with the
help of the nanny, they all fail. There were times I'd tried to help the short-tempered parents and despite my best efforts communication, they fell on deaf ears or were just too busy to heed my ideas or efforts at all.
Yup. Good dad, good mom, solid marriage, just overwhelmed and needed some help and new tools. Love to see it.
@@simplystreeptacularwelp they divorced..

When Bronson put his hand over Jo’s mouth I got teary-eyed.

Yeah..why?
It was so he could feel how to move his mouth and the vibrations of her voice.
@@leahcookscreates3706 no it wasn't it was because he's a brat 🤣🤣
@@leahcookscreates3706 I agree, he may have hearing issues. It wasn’t because he was being difficult because he put his hand over his own mouth to repeat the word.

18:23 the oldest boy playing with his little brothers hair was just wholesome.
it always upsets me when children with adhd have parents that dont understand them.. glad jo helps them realize what the boy needs
It's definitely difficult for parents to understand that those with adhd can't concentrate as well as "normal" children. When the diagnosis come out, the Dr should give the parents tips or direct them to helpful websites so they can understand

It had took awhile for my husband to understand our son who has ADHD , Asperger Syndrome and asthma during our son's childhood. He had finally understood when I had reminded him how he learned to understand and cohabitation in loving relationship with me as ADD and Dyslexia wife. He had readjust his thought progress and reactions to being helpful and understanding towards our son. I had been stay at home wife who was primary parent with our son while he had helped when he came home from work. They had multiple of Dad and son activity times each month that help them further to bond together and to give me time for myself to enjoy couple of hours to totally relax and rejuvenate. Adhd children are very upsetting for everyone.
Jo Jo talking with Bronson and him trying to pronounce the words while putting his hand on her mouth was precious
These are two of the best parents- they listened and the dad was involved. Loved this!
I about cried when that little guy touched Jo's lips while she spoke because he clearly wants to learn how to speak and be heard.

Yes indeed I even got emotional. Only the little boy needed was one on one time..
He needs to be in speech therapy and the parents need to be involved with it, so they can learn to help him better.
It's really refreshing to see parents who genuinely cared and were trying their best despite being in over their heads. I'm glad they got the help they needed!

When Jo was talking with the kid teaching him how to speak was so cute tbh. He put his hand on her mouth to understand how to move his own mouth. He learned so quickly
and they way he copied her accent was adorable
Unlike most parents on Supernanny these ones are actually trying
I loved them
The middle lad with his permanent marker beard had me in stitches 🤣
There parents were so secure in their priorities, that they had no problem letting their ego go and act in the best interest of their children. The homework bit? That was great.
These parents are committed to their children. I am so impressed by their eagerness to improve and learn. Branson needs speech therapy, because his unintelligable speech is the cause of his bad behaviour. This family will be fine! 👏👏👏💞
This is not safe for the boys to run across the street

Parents who really work together. Heartwarming
Maybe this dad is showing us he has confidence in his parenting. The other fathers tried very hard too I'm sure. This one co-operated with his wife too. It was very nice to watch the stressful situations become resolved with Jo.
Parents need to read to their children. That's how kids learn to read & love reading.
No excuse is enough for not doing so.

Glad Jo took the time to work with the parents and the ADHD. She’s a gem.
There are some parents who absolutely REFUSE to put their ADHDers on meds bc stigma. If I had tested positive for ADHD, I would’ve wanted to take meds in order to help me learn and think better, and stay out of trouble

These videos make my day! Jo is the strongest woman in the world! how does she not get irritated with these kids?!
I think cause she sees it ain’t there fault it’s the fault of the parents she often get irritated at the parents
Because they aren't her kids and she doesn't live with them 24/7
I wouldnt use the word "irritated" she may just bother and get frustrated by the fact parents sometimes cant understand her methodes.

Because it's her profession??
The kid randomly having facial hair drawn on his face was funny. I don't want kids but my brother is having kids amd imma observe his ways to see if he is doing well or not 🤣
Mom should worry more about getting Bronson speech therapy than her taking her own classes. If the preschool and pre-K kids & staff can't understand him, his aggression will remain.

After watching years of Supernanny I have come to the conclusion that the underlying issue is children are punishing their parents for the names they were given as newborns.
