I agree. If you are going to do a thing, then do it. Since he didn’t, I thought idiot and the foot and dirt road confirmed it, in addition to the poor lines on a relatively straight road and zero proper body position.

It's about time the US changed the law to allow cops to know riders off their bikes if they are putting people in danger. We had a growing spate of thefts from motorcyclists in the uk and the cops were not even allowed to chase them. We changed the law and now they can be knocked off their bikes if they don't stop and can't claim if they get injured in the process.

This is a good example of why more and more Police Departments across the country have almost done away with high speed pursuits that began as a simple traffic infraction. The Trooper saw and recorded the license plate number but chased this idiot who obviously was not an experienced rider at speeds of 130 plus MPH down open highways but also through residential areas. In this country approximately 300 people die as a result of high speed Police pursuits each year and about one third of those killed were innocent bystanders. It comes to about 4200 innocent people dying over the last 40 years. I am saying all this because two of the innocent people that died were a young couple from my church that were killed when they were hit by a fleeing truck that the Police were chasing because of a broken taillight.

This guy is either a new rider or has never ridden before. You can always tell in the way someone handles their bike how much experience they have. He had no idea what he was doing other than, "Twist throttle, go fast." He was shaky on turns, taking turns way too wide, putting his foot down, and he tried to make a left turn at an intersection and then thought better of it because he had no idea how to do it at speed without wiping. You can just see the lack of confidence and experience in his riding. I think the bike might have also had a bald back tire because it tried to slip out from under him just crossing the yellow line a couple times. Then again, he made it pretty far through that field and the woods so I could be completely wrong about all of that. Either I'm wrong or he got really lucky.

It is not only illegal for cops to chase bikes like this, it is extremely dangerous too. It is illegal because the biker could lose their life and the cop would be held responsible for anything that happens to the biker because the cop gave chase. In ALL OF ARKANSAS cops are supposed to back off if a biker decides to run. Not just for their safety but the safety of others as well.

But they may have known who you were by then, so your getting away may not have lasted long. Then again, maybe you would've gotten away for good. 😎

That dude should have never run. No skill at all. Only somewhat fast in a straight line and putting your foot down when making turns… stupid. Respect to the cops. They were cool with him.

Arkansas is aesthetically pleasing, as it is called the “natural state” it’s the people you have to worry about. 42 in education, 49th in healthcare, and 45th in crime.

This guy should learn how to ride a motorcycle before he tries to run from Troopers! It's obvious he can't ride worth a CRAP! YOUR BEST BET IS TO ALWAYS STOP WHEN GETTING PULLED OVER! He could have got himself killed! A ticket is not worth risking your life! But then again you cannot fix stupid! 😏🤨

what law did he break ? and does it warrant a threat to the general public with driving like this ? a police officer should never let their feelings get the best of them, if this is the case. and what about the condition now of the patrol vehicles ?
