I'm seeing this 5 months after you posted this video. Thank you. I became certified in July 2023, but also own a daycare. October 2nd is my last day with the daycare. With all the hours involved in my current business, I had no time to perfect my skill after certification. I'm taking two months off to get AMAZING...then start a business in my 2nd house that I now use for a daycare. I've been excited and kinda scared. After my divorce, and almost 10 years in custody court the daycare was my saving grace from the expense of it all. Now I'm on a new path for ME!! Thank you again.

Thank you so much for sharing, I have clients that have financial difficulties but still get lashes done because that’s the only thing they do for themselves! It’s so empowering for women to get a beauty service be it lashes or brows or whatever makes them happy. I’ve also done a service trade once so definitely worth it 🥰❤️

@@LivBayLash it really was so many of my clients still that I have would tell me just like another comment and Mike said m, this is the only thing I do for myself! I have a degree in science and psychology and so many of my clients always tell me to go into counseling but lash at the same time lmAo but I feel like that’s the job that’s why we love the job. Not only do they leave feeling beautiful on the outside they leave feeling like ok I told my main bitch and yep this is what I’m doing now! Lol maybe not but I always felt that way getting my lashes done before I became an artist, it’s so crazy as much as I love lashing, I love my clients and their stories and anything I can do to just help them feel better. This industry is not for the weak lol I will say that thank you always for making content and just being so forthcoming in all of the info you provide. You guys have inspired me to open my own salon and I get to work along side my oldest kiddo and it’s beautiful to watch her blossom!! I will forever be grateful for all of the humor and knowledge and encouragement

This is off topic but I was curious to see if you can make a video about another lash tech social media bashing.
I’m a new certified lash tech, I have been lashing since January of this year. One of my clients (my only client) went to someone else for lashes randomly. I had received a message of the licensed Tech just outrageously bashing me and putting me on her story. She then messaged one of my previous practice client who had commented on a reel of mine (witch is my sister in law) telling her how bad I am at isolation and how I need to use better quality products (I use livbay) and in capitalization letters “please do not go back to her”. I am new to this and honestly do not know what to do without giving her the fuel to her fire that is she is looking for. I just feel so bad, I honestly thought I was doing good, I would always ask my client “is everything okay, have you noticed any issues in your everyday live with my lash work, if you’re not satisfied I would gladly remove them free of charge” ect..
My best advice is put no vacancy signs up to your ears because unless it’s constructive criticism and not mean girl, unprofessional feedback then they need to work on lash manners.
I have been through this a million times, don’t let it get you down. This has nothing to do with you and them trying to get attention and be a lash bully.
I’d put your energy into moving forward and working towards your goals 💖
