    Amazing! Wish I saw this video before getting my first lash extensions. I'm Asian with lashes pointing down and I was advised to get a C-curl, which had absolutely no eye-opening effect. I also was able to see my natural lashes beneath the extensions! I hated the way my lashes looked so I got it removed the very next day. Now I know exactly which curl to ask for (L!) when I go in for my next appointment :) thank you!

      or the L plus - its even nicer and has a less extreme angle that can look a little strange - and make sure they use either lightweight volume on you x3 0.05mm or 0.07mm or x1 0.10mm or x1 0.10mm on you - as probably your lashes are very fine and if they overload them they will cause damage.

    I always have trouble with my eyelashes. My real lashes, the outer part is curly, nearly a D-curl, my middle lashes is alright, and my inner lashes is poining downward. Did a few eyelash extension before but none of them is something that i want. If i want a nice FAN lash look, should i use different type of curl? Maybe a J-curl for my outer lash?

      Hi Irid, great question, so to counteract the curly lash, use a flat curl such as a J or B curl attached underneath. HTH

    I honestly don't even know my lash, I use a C curl though. I didn't even know this is how to use the different curls. I thought we use the different curls for our personal preference, like if we want our curls really curly we'd use a D curl.
    Hmmm, thanks for this video.

    • @eyelashexcellence-frankiew3464
      @eyelashexcellence-frankiew3464  4 роки тому +2

      Hi there, ok so let me ask you this - would you go and have surgery by a surgeon that learnt online from watching youtube videos, get onto an aircraft with a pilot that learnt off youtube videos - the answer is no. If you want to apply lashes to clients or do any other type of service where you work on the public then you MUST take correct training. You not only owe this to your clients, but you are working on one of the most delicate areas of the body, the eye - you have in your hand super strong tweezers, super glue based adhesives and with that alone you can cause soooo much damage and tbh it scary that someone would consider trying to learn off youtube then working on the public! You cannot learnt correctly off youtube - as an existing artist you can pick up extra tips but to learn correctly you MUST take good courses, cover ALL the in depth theory and the practical, be watched over by a trainer, corrected when need be, then assessed and certified to say that you are safe to work on the public. UA-cam will offer you some info, but in person courses are many hours long and jam packed with all you need to know and this is not on youtube, so please invest your money into training, rather than saving a few bucks and thinking you can learn off youtube - you cannot - there is no much more to it. HTH.

    Hi, thank you for your videos, you are very helpful being I'm a new lasher. I find it is easy to lash on my mannequin head but on real people it's real hard. I get nervous and I feel like it's taking forever. The practice lashes are nothing like real lashes. Any suggestions? Should I buy different practice lashes?

    • @book492
      @book492 5 років тому +1

      Milissa Scott I see no one ever answered your question. My suggestion is to gather friends/models and ask to practice on them. In return they will get a free set. There is nothing like practicing on someone who understands that you are learning. I know you asked this question a year ago, but this could be useful for anyone else who may stumble upon your question. Another technique is to double up lash strips on the mannequin head. That was a challenge for me in a second training I went to.

    Hello I love your videos!!! I would like to know is it easier to apply extensions to real eyelashes or the strips on the mannequin? I’m a beginner and it seems hard to apply to the mannequin. I haven’t applied to a real person yet.

    • @infoeyelashexcellence1145
      @infoeyelashexcellence1145 6 років тому

      It is more difficult to apply an extension to strip/practice lashes. This is because both the extension and strip lash are made of the sane material PBT (ploy butylene trephalate) so therefore the can repel one another. A natural lash will grab the extension much easier.

      Hi Koko, so when you say for the eyes to look higher do you mean for the outer eye to be lifted? For this I would recommend kitten styling, I do have a tutorial on eye styling so might be good for you to watch that as it does depend on eyes and face shapes as to what styling you would do on someone.

    So what type of curl would
    You use for naturally long, and thick curly eyelashes. I have to use brow bone shields when I apply mascara bc my lashes are so long and curly when I sweat the mascara transfers to my eyebrow bone and just ruins the entire look. I also have slightly hooded eyes.

    • @eyelashexcellence-frankiew3464
      @eyelashexcellence-frankiew3464  Рік тому

      Hi Holly, great question. On you I would use a volume type of lash firstly: the reason being is that if your lashes are thick you are used to a thick look so want an even fuller look, so need volume for this. Curl wise, you would need a flatter curl such as a J or B attached underneath your natural lashes to counterbalance your curly lashes. Sadly many lash artists do the "one size fits all" so will likely slap a D curl on you, which would be too curly on your naturally curly lashes, would touch your brow as well as cut up into your hood. With flatter curls they will extend outwards of your eye and suit your features, HTH.

      ok, so there is no one overall rule, this is just a guide - but for very curly lashes you would want to use a slighter less curled extension as the nl already has a good curl, that to add a curly extension could cause it to curl up into the head. Does that assist?

      Hi, yes you can use a heated lash curler to relax the lashes, if you get a wand style curler you can swipe it through the lashes to relax them. Or if you are trained in lash lifting you can do a relaxed lift to straighten the lashes out.

    Would it be okay to hit curl the lash before applying mink lashes individually of course ? Would it look better you think

    Are there perms for straightening overly curly eyelashes? I hate how curly they are. I have to straighten my eyelashes in order to put mascara on. If I could perm them to a normal curl that would be amazing

    What about a lash client who has straight lashes point down? Is b-curl more suitable?

      L+ Curl is the best curl for clients with lashes that are straight and pointing downward. Mainly because they are straight and have a dramatic curl, so it will bond really well since it has a flat base...and it makes their eye pop with that high angle of a curl! Hope this helps.

      Georgina ashton have a look at the adhesives on my website. I’ve put in great detail which each one is suitable for and what temp/humidity levels they work best with 😊
