One key thing for me, is that Hamilton, unlike all the other so-called greats, has often had a world champion, or a truly rapid driver in the same team. Hamilton has had to overcome Alonso, Button, and Rosberg, and now a rapid and young George Russell. Who else has a CV like Hamilton's? But then people like to play the "he has the fastest car" card. All drivers need the fastest car to win. He's still got it at 39 to.
And Sir Lewis was always the strongest driver even in his karting days. The fastest driver drives in the fastest car. It's almost always been that way in Formula 1.
Give that man some props for his honesty!!! Truth is still alive.
So, what Mr. James Allison is saying is that the contract was drafted such that the implicit intension was to send SLH away, to let him go. Why? Were there tensions in the team? Did they know that within these new technical regulations they would not be able to produce a winning car in time and better not to hold him up and let him go? Or, they don't want to be the Team to bear the responsibility to allow SLH his 8th championship because that may not bode well for the Germans and Mercedes as a German company? Michael Schumacher is German and has as many championships as SLH. Make no mistake, these considerations do play a role. Toto was once asked who his favorite driver is and he implicitly hinted towards Michael Schumacher even though SLH was driving for his Team.
great point.
For you information is not 7time champion bat 6 I stole 1 championship on mass you guys forgot the I win the rase at the last curve after Timo Glock let I'm go by the race was fixed Michael faith Hamilton never foith for the and Mercedes Chet on lot races
Definitely, some interesting points.
@@domenicoformoso1352I think you forgot to take your pills.
@@SIFWD1 you have same memory problem which the race Hamilton is chitter with the all Mercedes I never had any competition look Russell bet him and Ferrari made the biggest mistake is all finished finito retirerd
Every team wants a driver who can optimize its fullest potential. That's where Lewis , Max, just to name a few come in.
These are different drivers of an era. To say one is better is bold. Both drivers are great both have that top “goat” spot as well as other world champions! ❤❤❤
You know it’s without doubt when it’s coming from people who work in F1. From people who have worked with all the contenders for that crown. Hamilton is the best there’s been in the last two or three decades. The ‘all time’ argument is never debatable, it’s not relevant comparing different era’s. We can then only go on stats, and they speak for themselves, there is no debate on factual numbers. There are haters who say he’s a moaner and arrogant, I’m obviously deaf and blind because I genuinely only hear and see what a top bloke he is. Just one more title please, in the 🏎️ would be rather special.
I wouldn’t go so far as to say one is better than the other. I would say they are on another level than other drivers, and you can throw in drivers like Senna and Lauda and a few others in that group too. But the car in F1 has a large role to play too, so there is no way to truly compare. If we could have the best drivers of history all drive the same identically prepared cars, no pit stops, not even for tires, and just let them go at it, I think Senna would come out on top, but the others would be chasing him like mad dogs!
Senna has become a money making business. His story is constantly embellished. He was the man to beat back then but the young Michael and Mika hakkinen were on their way to beating him. If when talking about someone's career you only highlights his successes it positively influence people's opinions of him and he start to reach idol status. There are many who live off senna's name.
@@truth4reel
Sure, there is a lot of embellishment, but I was able to watch him live, and there are only a few drivers like him and Nikki. I don’t have to embellish my own memories.
James knows what he’s talking about!
@@Six73c3bam1
Really!? That is one of the most childish and totally ignorant statements I’ve ever read!
His Shyness must be, after all one 3rd place in 3 years is pretty good don't you think..???
Lewis also.many a time has driven theough the field..not many drivers can claim that
Lewis is the GOAT. James is speaking facts.
Maybe on stats, but sure isn’t on skills
@@ji5393 😂Name any other driver in F1 history who was or is good on stats but without driving skills.
I love when a white brother speaks his mind and tell the truth
The truth shalt set thee free. Those who hate or are jealous of Lewis don’t wanna hear this. Lewis is the GOAT!
Amongst the "white" people you will encounter some of the best human souls that God ever created; im black butfrom experience i know that. These speak the truth and are not afraid.
@@KK-ygh "God" in the same sentence as truth 😂
I can't wait to see Lewis at Ferrari. A WDC at Ferrari would cement his legacy, hell I'd be happy if he just got a few race wins at that iconic team, what a way to end a top flight career in this sport
We are checking 🤣
@@peterdevreterwe have been fired.
That's obviously a personal opinion , To me I'm afraid Schumacher was so much better than Hamilton could ever wish to be and that's even if he wins ten championships .
Pure hate...but also it's ur own opinion right??
Can you at least elaborate why your opinion is better?
MS cheated on many occasions. Dirty tactics. You never see Hamilton resort to cheating.
@disapphire to see Lewis on top of every relevant stats gives them chest pains I guess...
@@TheRiderGuiderexactly!
Hamilton never ad competition Michael Schumacher I faith for is championship not Hamilton the only guy the give competition Nico I lat the go because I was bittim regularly
Which competition, a finished McLaren amd Mika.
James smoking some strong shite
you think you know more then him 🤡
Who cares any backstage gossip
😂😂😂 Superior driver over Schumacher…🤡 Allison. I watched all the seasons from Senna and after that, Schumacher. Schumacher had the capability to form a team around him, changing Ferrari to the superpower they were back then. Hamilton is a great driver, but misses the true racing mind Schumacher had. Lewis is great in great cars, but Lewis is mid tier in mid tier cars, unlike for example, Verstappen. He is the one who is a true mix of Schumacher and Senna, always extracting the most out of the car they’re driving.
😅🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣 Yeah right!!!
James is deluded - Schumacher made three teams fortunes turn around and lead them to glory - he just wasn’t around to see the fruits of his mercedes work where as Lewis arrived and benefited from it.
IMO Schumacher & senna are head and shoulders above the rest.
Max has the potential to get there but he would need to move and win somewhere else.
So r u also saying no credit to Lewis at all? I see u saying MS is better but not crediting Lewis who is the only racer besides MS who has 7 titles plus regardless how good the car was isnt it the driver making the best difference???
Max is going to be like Michael, but not like Lewis the two drivers have had Wekka teammates and no one to challenged them
@@joligramm4255 Who challenges Max? certainly not Perez. Who challenged Schumacher? absolutely not one of his teammates and I'll tell you why, because he specific clauses in his contract where the second driver could in no way hinder him.
Valtteri Bottas won more races than all of those second drivers combined against Lewis.
So yes, Lewis had more resistance from his teammate than both Max and Schumi.
This is s cipe
MSC. lost so much to Rosberg, it was Nico who built that time.
Hamilton had best car by far at that time.
Sure, it's always about the car. What did you expect? It's the same for every driver. Do you think all the F1-champions became champions because they did not have the best car at that time? Do you think Max Verstappen doesn't have the best car since 2022?
And so does Verstappen. Your point?
That’s not hamiltons problem it’s f1s… every Champion has the best car and since the v6 era the regs seem to only favour one team or one team gets it so right the others are lost for a long while. With the cost cap teams can’t catch up as quickly as before.
None of this tho takes away from the consistency and skill max and Lewis have produced win their titles. There’s still another driver in the same winning car.
Max and Lewis gave us probably the best season we’ve witnessed for years.
Schumacher had the best cars too.
What’s your point ????
Best drivers always find themselves in the best car, look at the history. Let's give credit where it's due rather than undermining his achievements!
Russell is better
