Hey guys, a tip if you want to cut down on RGB software bloat, you can use a cable adapter for your AL120's, connect them directly to a Corsair RGB Hub and control everything through iCue. That's how I do it anyways, I've been really impressed with the AL120's performance, ease of install and lighting! I personally have my RGB set up to be heat reactive on a curve, looks really cool! Anyways, hope this comment helps someone.
iCue might be able to control them regardless. I've just finished building a friends PC and noticed that iCUE could control the Asus motherboard and GPU.

Great that they have a ton of stock of the 6800XTs and stuff, but the pricing is still obscene! Was that $1400 for a 6800XT? It's a $650 MSRP!!! It's mind-numbingly infuriating that retailers are still getting away with this kind of stuff.
The OEM's are typically the ones setting those prices. All of them have jacked up the original MSRP. I got a Gigabyte card for its msrp of 600 but that exact card msrp was 450 when they released it 2 years ago.
Although I agree, I hate scalpers with a passion. At the end of the day though MSRP is Manufacturer SUGGESTED Retail Price, so there's nothing illegal about it, it's just scummy, but you can't fully blame the retailer, if people are still buying at those prices then they'll keep selling at those prices, especially online scalpers that have them for 3x the price, if people started boycotting and just not buying them then sellers will have no choice but to lower price. Especially once stock starts normalizing eventually. TLDR - sellers are scumbags for overcharging, buyers are dumb for buying instead of waiting. I'm glad I got my 2080ti 2 weeks before 30series launch and was teased by friends, I don't regret it, and if I waited then I'd be screwed and stuck waiting, and I'm not dumb and impatient enough to buy over MSRP. I love gaming but tbh if I had to wait I would, it's not worth ever over paying for any tech, especially since you know it's gonna be obsolete eventually anyway
That's probably also the reason that there are shelves full of them. Not because they're getting massive supplies of these, but that no one is willing to pay those prices.
you definitely should bring back the "two idiots do.." type series but now you can upgrade it to "three idiots do.." haha love all that you three do keep up the great work!
Jay picks up a valve instead of a flow indicator. I pick up tuna in oil instead of tuna in water. I think we've all made these mistakes. Fortunately, I don't have to drive an hour each way to get to the grocery store with a ridiculous exhaust.
I've drunk coffee flavoured rum and coconut flavoured vodka due to someone picking up the wrong bottle at the store. The coffee rum was alright after several shots of unflavoured rum, the vodka is still sitting somewhere.
I'm surprised Jay didn't remembered to dremel or file the longer screws at the top to make them fit without the washer. Another option would be to have the washers on the inside.
That's what I thought. Just cut them down. To keep the threads intact you can put a nut down the screw before cutting. When you are finished cutting, just unscrew the nut and the hurt part of the thread will get corrected by the nut.
You're so lucky to have a big retailer like that where you are. Here in the UK it's mostly online. That said, even if there were a place like Micro Center, I'd still have to take home anything I bought on a bus!
I live in Rural Coastal N.S.W. & about 160km/100mi from my Best PC Tech shop in Sydney, it depends on what I need as to whether it is better to get post or drive, post at worst is 2-3days & driving is about 2-3hrs depending on Traffic, postage for small items is $7-$15AUD but it is cheaper for me to drive up & back than the Postage for something like a PC Case
I love these types of videos where you just give a slice of life to go pick up random items or items you need. Miss the old videos in this style so was great to see
I would atleast try with a thinner radiator at the front. The thicker one kinda blocks the intergrated reservoir a bit. A thicker one at the top looks great though! Excellent editing on this vid, Phil 😄

Jay as a machine shop engineer I had fixings of all types, sizes and colours. Highly recommend you finding a local hardware supplier and getting a kit of various common types, sizes and colours, rather than going back to manufacturers. You could set it up in the studio like grandpa's old jam jar screw collection.
I loved that Phil added his laugh.
The feeling I get from this build is Professional Casino. All business, and serious, but when the RGB comes on, it's party time!
The single cut to Phil laughing made all of this so much better. XD
I love how Nick pushes back now... in the olden days he just went along passively with whatever abuse Jay would lay on him.
@JayzTwoCents I have a Spectre 2.0. Consider mounting your fans on the OUTSIDE of the case, and rads on the inside. Way more clearance, plus you get all the fan RGB goodness externally.
The Vlog style videos are great jay, keep them coming. Its interesting to see the thought and work processes you use to get to the final stage. Montages are cool and I'm sure they are fun to make, so maybe vlog the builds then afterwards release the Montage video? Love the dynamic you, Phil and Nick have!
I love the short cameo from Phil. :D
Great vid Jay. The car ride took me back to being in high school and everyone whose parents bought their cars having lowered Hondas, Acuras, Mitsubishis, etc. with annoying exhausts. So thankful we have been able to graduate to nicer cars. Also, I was just jelly of those kids... I had to buy my $3K '88 Honda Accord (yeah, no fuel injection) on my own.
Jayz apologizes for the audio *it only sounds a bit lower but still super clear and good quality*
Other youtubers brags about their audio *blasts bad music, doesn't sound clear, everything is muffled or equalized into the most criminal smile ever, makes you have to give explanations about weird noises*
Yes! I love seeing how you decide and work out your builds Jay! It's coming along looking sweet!
Jay, your knowledge and skills are insightful. I appreciate your humor and ability to bring a smile
The “Knowledge” was it for me 🤣🤣🤣
lol nicks face when you called out his exhaust, his face was like dam right my exhaust hahaha
The cut to Phil facepalming is hilarious to me XD
@Phil, that cut to you laughing was golden sir. 11/10, did watch it again....
Phil's facepalm edit made me literally lol. My family then looked at me (with my headphones on) like I was crazy 🤣
i like how phil add laughing scene in 8:00 makes it better lmao
Phil cutting in on this video just made my day 😂
