Please also keep in mind the fact that 'Slavery, Colonialism & Colonization' are all evil things done by evildoers.
- Around fifty 50 nations fell under British Colonialism; while around twenty five 25 nations under French Colonialism.
- In the Colonial era all Anglo Western Colonizers did in their Colonies worldwide was build infrastructure, such as roads and ports so that they could ship abundant natural mineral resources, raw materials back to Europe to make fine goods, since there hardly has any mineral resources in Europe. That is what Colonialism is all about; "Pillage and Plunder" at will... For instance, it is agreed upon the fact that Africa in general has progressed a lot more in the past 20-30 years than 200 years of Western Colonialism there.
Moreover, World organization such as UN, United Nations was helped founded, with cleverly drawn charters, by the West; only after they have had enough of practicing centuries-long global Slavery, Colonization and Colonialism; in such a way so as to;
- keep their accumulated wealth to themselves,
- their accumulated crimes not to get prosecuted by their former victims. 😔

I agree. Slavery, Colonialism & Colonization are all evil things done by evildoers. 😔
- Speaking of 'the rule of Law', may I ask where is the rule of law when the Anglo West is practicing centuries-long global Slavery, Colonialism & Colonization?
May I ask when will the West face justice for their notorious centuries-long global crimes of Slavery, Colonialism and Colonization from North/South America to Australia/New Zealand?
- Speaking of 'crime'.., remember, it’s only a crime if you lose.
- The Anglo Western bloc had been on the winning side for about three centuries. Obviously, they couldn't care less about the "crimes" any more.
Slavery, Colonialism & Colonization are evil things done, and benefited by evildoers.
- My jaw dropped as I read mega genocide of indigenous Native Americans population in their motherland, the Continent of America before European Colonizers arrived was around 15 millions, while European population in their motherland, Continent of Europe was around 25 millions. Today, Native Americans population in their motherland is 15 million, while the European population, in the Continent of America + Europe, is a staggering 'TWO BILLIONS'! A sad truth. 😔
- You can't discover a place if people are already there for 20,000 long years.., [unless you are thieves, robbers and bandits avoiding jail time for so very long]. Truth is those nations built upon stolen looted lands of Native American people are all illegitimate nations.
- Moreover, this land is their one and only ASSET. The beloved motherland their ancestors forebears had lived through thick and thin, endured through hardships of all sorts for so long. With their main ASSET was taken away from them, their IDENTITY, their DIGNITY, their POPULATION and most of all, their FUTURE are all but gone. That's a sad truth indeed.
- All they, indigenous Native people need is their beloved motherlands back, the lands that their ancestors' forebears had lived through thick and thin, endured through hardships and all for tens of thousands of years.
Why not let Native Americans have Europe, since Europeans have had both North/South America Continents already; a fair deal?
Remember the saying,"You can't have your cake and eat it too" and "A man's gotta do, what a man's gotta do".
The truth of the matter is that indigenous Native People would forever be the subject of scapegoat, and victimized by the Colonizers of their lands, as long as they occupy those vast rich bountiful lands in order to justify their occupation. In other words, the Colonizers are 'Living in Denial'/ 'Living in Sin'.

It was if you don't remember your own countries that sold your people as slaves. The British & their Royal family (Monarch)are not Africans, hence their loss is not ours.We have a choice to mourn her or not
Lets also talk about the billions given to the African governments yearly , in Aid and loans, for the benefit of their people and environment. Most of this sum is stolen by the respective governments and their armies, and lodged away in secret bank accounts, right back in Europe, which in turn is making their economy richer. Lets talk about the mansion Mugabe's widow has in Dubai, and how she just chased hundreds, of her own Africans from lands she claims is hers, where did all that money come from? Lets talk about the 2 African leaders sons caught on hidden camera in France, buying 19 Armani suits each. I am very honest, as an Afrikan, I am not mourning the queen of Britain! Mainly because of the colonial evils and vagaries that the crown did to Afrikan colonies and Australia's indigenous people.
At what point will you people understand it was the British government that started war in Africa. The British monarchy is a constitutional monarchy. The queen doesn't have power to start war. The scramble for Africa was majorly political the monarchy has no say in it. @@raybarton5584 In life ,we expect betrayal from all outside angles. But the greatest betrayal of all is from our own., Betrayal of African governments and their armies, stealing from the continent's resources, and the aid given by the west, to African governments, for the upliftment of their people and the environment, and hiding it in secret bank accounts, right back in Europe, where it further, enriches THEIR country. Betrayal started when the chiefs sold their own Africans to the white man. The only claim to fame Mandela had was 27 yrs in prison. Not even one Low Income Housing Scheme for the poor. Mugabe's widow has a mansion in Dubai, she just evicted hundreds of Africans from lands she claims, is hers, where did all that money come from? The white man stole from Africa, BUT they took care of their own
@Saved by Grace-- I would love to hear her address the corruption on the continent, with the leaders , and the army, stealing the Aid money, and money from loans, and banking it in secret bank accounts, right back in Europe, which further enriches THEIR countries. This results in the young people going abroad to seek employment, only to be scorned, abused drowned, and deported. Many men from Ghana left the tomatoes in their fields to rot, because they cannot compete with the cheap tomatoes from Italy. These same Ghanaians are in Italy planting tomatoes, to export BACK, to Ghana and the rest of Africa. LOL
Not as a history lesson, please! As an opinion and example of the anger and damage caused by imperialism and colonisation and the ongoing affects of those. But, please, not of history, because the history narrated by Ms Pheko is fraught with serious issues, to say the least. Maybe you could get your 13 year old daughter do some research into the history herself to see for herself what actually happened. I suggest she looks at a wide range of sources so she can get a broad perspective, not just read a single account. You cannot trust one single source of information. Nor can your trust one single account. Nothing is objective and every account is biased. Treat all history with care and do not believe someone just because they say it.
You have said it all my sister.
Britain's colonial footprint rests on America, Canada ,Australia and New Zealand !!!
Luckily, South Africa has extricated itself from the grip of these countries and Britain!
Navdas one, is this true? Have any colonies really been relieved of the footprints of colonialism? Is Sourh Africa free? Did the people get their ancestral land back?
Have they truly gained independence, economically and politically? Are people living a life of free enterprise and education that fulfills the need for self determination?..
South Africa still pays colonial tax to Britain and the Queen was still looting our natural resources. What freedom is that?
And it was the apartheid government that did the work of extricating it!
Pls also keep in mind the fact that 'Slavery, Colonialism & Colonization' are all evil things done by evildoers.
Around fifty 50 nations fell under British Colonialism; while around twenty five 25 nations under French Colonialism.
- In the Colonial era all Anglo Western Colonizers did in their Colonies worldwide was build infrastructure, such as roads and ports so that they could ship abundant natural mineral resources, raw materials back to Europe to make fine goods, since there hardly has any mineral resources in Europe. That is what Colonialism is all about; "Pillage and Plunder" at will.
For instance, it is agreed upon the fact that Africa in general has progressed a lot more in the past 20-30 years than 200 years of Western Colonialism there.
Moreover, World organization such as United Nations was helped founded, with cleverly drawn charters, by the West; only after they have had enough of practicing centuries-long global Slavery, Colonization and Colonialism; in such a way so as to;
- keep their accumulated wealth to themselves,
- their accumulated crimes not to get prosecuted by their former victims. 😔
I agree with the fact that Slavery, Colonialism & Colonization are all evil things done by evildoers.
"Anglo caused most of the world's problems." - David Cameron, former British Prime Minister
“British society has never been cleansed of the filth of imperialism.” - Salman Rushdie
The fact that they need to repent & repay their sins & crimes. After all, it's "a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do" thing.
Like I said, repay and repent your long overdue crimes and sins.. Remember the saying, "a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do".

Sick of trendy liberal elitists who think they're all that, drivelling on about "colonialism", "white normativity" etc, but who can't even get their facts right!
Examples of points that are at the very least disputable:
1) Not all of the other 14 nations of which King Charles is head of state are in the Caribbean (Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea are the ones that come to mind).
2) They are not trying to wrestle away the link to the crown, because they are already completely independent: they are fully at liberty to replace the British monarch as their head of state and the British government and monarch have no constitutional powers to stop them.
3) The monarchy is not used to "enforce inequitable free trade agreements": the British monarchy has no constitutional powers in this area. The monarch signs off bills concerning trade, but this is a formality, because no monarch has denied Royal Assent since the time of Queen Anne. Even so, there are no trading privileges given to other nations in this personal union: New Zealand lost a lot of its UK market access when the UK joined what would later become the EU.
4) No conversations about when the jewels will be returned? She must have been in a cave recently if she thinks that! She should do a search on Google!
5) Claims blocked through the Commonwealth? Reparations are an issue for the UK government, not a constitutional monarch!
6) "The crown has a lot of power": no, King Charles is a constitutional monarch.
7) We don't hear as much about the Italian royal family? Well, an obvious reason for this is because it no longer exists! It was abolished following a referendum just after WWII!
8) Not all the European monarchs are descendants of Queen Victoria. Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom's monarchs are, but there are other monarchies in Europe, e.g. in the Netherlands.
It is really nauseating the way elitists like her can spew endless nonsense without being checked by lefty fact checkers (I remember what Donald Trump went through) or cancelled!
