I wish I knew who specifically made this trailer because it is genuinely fantastically-made. They did a brilliant job controlling the pacing, using the music, teasing things like the amazing-looking Mark V, having each reveal top the previous one. For the first time, it genuinely feels almost overwhelming to watch in the best way.
Bravo to 343, and especially bravo to the people who put this trailer together.

So arguably a random grunt/banished could accidentally unleash the flood

it did say flood inspired customization, and you can customize vehicles....so its a safe bet it'll be there.
Wish they'd get around to adding customization for the banished vehicles, a Flood Ghost would be sick.
I’m hoping this season is more focused on arena, and next season expands BTB and Firefight. Add the Falcon, add more vehicle customization, add Banished vehicle customization, etc.

A lot of people talking about BTB missing here. 343 could always add a Community BTB Playlist Mid-Season, just like they surprised us the first time. Can’t wait for all of this!
This is the season that will finally get me back into Infinite. I haven't played since season 2, so this is really exciting stuff to see added into the game.

They were showcasing in the last blog post some Firefight maps from previous games that have already been remade by fans in Forge as Arena and Big team maps - a couple quick changes and boom. Just need AI routes mapped

The flood themed cosmetics look like they’re taking design cues from Halo Wars 2 Awakening the Nightmare DLC and I’m all for it.

Hey, the Bandit EVO is a Bandit with the scope added. So yes there is now a scope on the Bandit, but it's a different Bandit.
The only thing they are missing now is accomodations for unlocks for armour sets,emblems ectera.But the game is now a complete game on S5

I like that we finally have flood cosmetics.... but will they add them back to the series fully. It still is a T for teen game, no way an infection animation could fit in the game for marines.
I'm actually super hyped for the first time since launch. Pierre has really turned things around.

343 has really been killing ever since the change in management. There's also going to be multiple free 20 tier battle passes throughout the season to so the BP being only 50 tiers is not big deal

This is looking really good. The only thing I could've wanted more is maybe some new vehicles and weapons. I hope we get some next season. So far we eatin good with firefight and literal customs campaign maps lookin really promising, so hyped.
There is a scoped Bandit variant coming in season 5 that has been confirmed, the Bandit Evo.

Really think they focused more on eSports for this one so everything is added before the next season. They probably see the AI being added makes up for the BTB map too.

I'm definitely not trying to take away from the good that 343 is doing, but i'm still awaiting an ODST Season where they add 2 new Arena Maps based on ODST locales and a BTB Map and add the Silenced SMG and Pistol from that game. If we ever get something like that, I will faint. Please 343i, I WILL buy a Battle Pass!
This! This is the problem with the whole spartan story, they could've done events about odst's and have an odst armour core, an elite event and you'd get an elite armour core, so on and so forth, but alas it's all spartans and we have different spartan cores that we can't even mix and match together
That said I'm pumped af for this season
@@R1PP3R_93 Well actually the cores do mix and match now, with Season 5, but yes, cross-core was also pretty important to me. Not necessary for the game to succeed, but definitely a QOL feature that I really wanted.
I think I'm most excited about the custom games XP - being able to play whatever I want to level up sounds amazing to me!
I’m 100% sure they will limit the xp you gain from custom games similar to how Halo Reach did with a limit of 1500 credits per day in custom games.

I'm completely ok with them only doing dev made btb maps every other season now. Honestly at this point there's so many maps now i feel like they should just do one map per season going forward and alternate between arena and btb each season. Id much rather them focus on weapons and vehicles going forward as that's what the game is really lacking in now

Couldn’t agree more. No new BTB maps is very worrying. Overall looks fantastic but can’t understand the decision not to include a new BTB map. Very disappointing.

Two new Master Chief armors will release this season, the Halo INFINITE Master Chief armor, and the Halo CE Master Chief armor. Cosmetics, or skins for the Spartans are now flood customizations to have on, new helmets for cross core armor, new bandit rifle skin, including the bandit rifle evo for this season, and two new maps, Prism which is blamite crystals for the needler, and forbidden map. Also, forge AI! Meaning you can add Covenant AI to maps. Firefight (might be in S5 I could be wrong, it could be for next season), or extraction is in S5. Also, with the flood cosmetics or skins, you can even have the weapons looking like they're Infected. And some other stuff, sadly no mutilator DB shotgun, or falcon will arrive this season, but on the bright side this season will rock.

Ngl i HATED this game. I have no good memories of this game. Just absolute disappointment and anger towards it.

Am I the only one a little underwhelmed with the Hero rank reward? You can practically recreate Chief with what we have now, plus that armor’s come standard in like every other Halo… just doesn’t seem that special😬 I’m hoping they come out with more Hero rewards with time..
