UberNick [PERSONAL HONEST OPINION] Absolutely AMAZING trailer! Gameplay is good for the most part but the explosions and some of the weapons look ridiculously cartoonish and plastic and the shield recharge animation is absolute HERESY! Obviously the lighting will look MUCH BETTER in the game so for people complaining about the bad lighting (compared to the trailers) please shut up.. Anyway as long as WE THE COMMUNITY tell 343 the small issues like these they can fix Halo Infinite is looking good!

The Banished is all about brotherhood and fighting those who stand in their way. The Created is all about controlling the galaxy under one oppressive foot...

There was an achievement in Halo 5 - "Complete The Breaking on Legendary difficulty without the entire fireteam dying." The Breaking: the mission solely focused on getting to Cortana. And guess what the achievement was called?

People need to watch this gameplay again because many people are unhappy, I find this gameplay really promising but we should point out some stuff what needs to be fixed and hopefully they can make the BR scope little smaller

Idk why people were complaining so much about the graphics. I get that the cinimatics arent as detailed as halo wars 2 but hey 1 its just a demo and 2 I still think it looks good since its trying to fit into a more classic art style. Of course that's just my opinion tho 😂

@connor the android sent by cyberlife Luckily the pistol shown in this trailer isn't the Magnum, it's called the sidekick. We likely only didn't see the magnum in this trailer because 343 wanted to show off new weapons we've never seen before.

I love the fact that music and the shields down/recharging sounds give me Halo CE vibes, it almost made me cry how nostalgic the music and the shield sounds, i grew up playing Halo CE and hearing parts of it here just... wow :")

The trailer really upset me. They hyped it all up saying it’s going to return back to its roots and they just made it even more like call of duty. Sprint....sliding and grappling hook? Really? Where did the uniqueness go that halo used to have? It’s even more frustrating when they said they’re going back to halos roots and they didn’t. They got everybody’s hopes up and let a majority of halo fans down. 343 ruined halo....RIP HALO

Man your a hater you calling the game a fail from a tiny demo like come on. It looks like Halo way more than halo 5 and with the sprint, slide and grapple hook does not mean its shit and to to remind you its an open world game. It would be pretty stupid if you could only walk the entire game. That would slow the game down way to much. To much bitching.
I think this game has some good potential, sure it still has sprint and slide but they took out the thrusters from Halo 5. We've pretty much known that sprint was gonna be in the game for a few years due to a survey a while back, doesn't mean we can't be upset but it's WAY better than Halo 5's advanced mobility BS. And why do you say that it's just now becoming like COD? We've had sprint for the past 3 games and the Exo suit style of mobility in one already. Oh and the grappling hook? It's gonna be a battlefield pickup in multiplayer along with other items Halo 3 style! And the art style, it looks like a great mix of new and old but *definitely* needs a bit of polish. They did go back to the roots of Halo in some places! However, I do have to say I agree that they could've gone all the way back to the classic style of gameplay, DOOM 2016, and DOOM: Eternal did prover that a classic shooter can do well in the modern market. But I still have the feeling that Infinite is gonna be a good game.

Damn, it looks great even tho some textures are too clean and plastic lookin, I just can't wait to get my hands on this bad boi. I was kinda disapointed when my man started runnin, but it is what it is hopefully we'll get some classic playlists. Oh, and how can I forget about grappling hook it gives me that Titanfall/Doom Eternal vibes, I think it's a great addition to the sandbox. And throwable fusion coils, man I already see some Donkey Kong custom games. Yeah, hopefully we'll get to kick some Banished ass in november.
Exactly, the textures looked plastic. I wish they went photorealistic instead of LEGO BLOKS style, but I'm glad to the return of classic artstyle and the overall aesthetics.
Day one pre-order for me.
P. S. I was extremely elated when Sprint was there, I'm glad they didn't listen to old nostalgic boomers going HURR DURR SPRINT NO BELONG IN HALO. Halo's campaign needs sprint, all the more so because this one is gonna be open world. But even if it weren't, Halo *CAMPAIGN* needs Sprint. They can remove Sprint from multiplayer for all I care.

I really hate the AR, new pistol, pulse carbine, and bulldog. They either aren't as iconic looking, or unecessary. The pulse carbine I think is uncessary. They're both energy weapons with pulse firing. So either have the ravenger or pulse carbine. Me personally, I woupd prefer the ravenger
By not as iconic, I'm mainly talking about the pistol and bulldog being replacements for the magnum and classic shotgun design from bungie's games respectively. Especially the bulldog replacing the shotgun. Why do they do this?

The intro video was absolutely well made and gave me chills and everything but the game itself was like at least a year away ... it was mediocre at best. Just sad.

Mostly positive about this reveal, so many cool things, so much awesome stuff both new and returning, however I found the lighting and colouring of the enemies to be pretty off...almost like it was too bright/plasticy, without shadow....could use more of a grit/realism, but besides that only a few minor nitpicks

I’m so glad people like it, but the salt from some people is unreal. Like, expecting a carbon copy of Halo 3 or something. There are some really toxic people in the Halo community, complaining about too much or too little change.

Everyone wanted Halo 3 on PC and said that the game was perfect the way it was. 343 released it and the community is crying because they wanted a remastered version. I'm giving 343 one last chance with this game. I love what was shown in the trailer, even though sprint hurt me a little, I understand why it's a thing, but damn, the graphics seem wonky at times, and beautiful at others. The end with the goofy ass close up to the brute was really dumb though.

He lied in this video seemingly showing it was his first-time seeing Halo Infinite, but in reality, was pretending to have the "first" reaction to not let his secret slip up. He lied to the community and later revealed he played Halo Infinite in 2019 to help 343 with the game. That's why toxic people are calling him a paid shill with toxic positivity, not being aware of the big faults of Halo Infinite's state of the game.

I’m late but I’ve been reading comments and seeing all of the negative feedback in other videos and I’m very irritated. I doubt this will be seen but it’s worth my time to put it out there. First it is vital to understand that this trailer was an old build and this in not polished, the game will of course look better at launch. The graphics will look better, just compare the demo and the trailer (trailer being newer), things will run more smoothly, it will all be fine. We must also remember to be open minded. Classical gameplay is outdated, don’t put old wine in a new bottle. The weapons are probably new and added, not replacements. I could go on, but I shan’t. There are things I liked and didn’t like of course, but just because I don’t agree with something doesn’t mean it’s objectively bad. Just because I don’t like that they moved the hud doesn’t mean I’m going to never play the game. The biggest irritation though, is the toxicity of the community. The old and the new clashing because the old wants the old style and the new is shooting them down. Halo was my first FPS, I didn’t start at a young age but when I learned of halo I loved it to death. I’ve literally played reach since I got an Xbox 360 years ago. We need to be open minded and optimistic, not tear each other down. That’s my little tangent, if you read all the way to here go grab yourself a nice snack!
Honestly, you’re right. But, with all honesty, the majority of the Halo community is rather... toxic. Trust me, I’d know. No matter what 343 does, people are going to find something to hate on, and then cling on that. If anything, Halo itself was always fine. The community, not to much. It’s not like the community is like this because of 343 either, Bungie were always annoyed by their fanbase since they were also toxic. Also, this happens to every game. It’s downtrodden at the start, but it praised later. Halo 2 wasn’t liked at the start since you played as the Covenant, but now, it’s a staple of history. Halo 4’s campaign was considered the worst to have ever been made into a game, but it’s now considered a story with a deep meaning, which is mostly respected amongst the community. Honestly, I just feel bad for 343. They got it rough.

Or maybe, as a longtime Halo fan, he's happy to finally see the original artstyle return. 🤷🏾♂️ Artstyle has always trumped graphics for true Halo fans, as the 343 era clearly demonstrated. Graphics were great during this era, but the generic and radically different artstyle drove away core Halo fans. That's why Halo sales this era weren't as impressive as they were during the Bungie days. Artstyle is everything for Halo. This cartoony look is Halo. Halo is back.
Daniel Garcia I dont see that problen with ratchet, and on the art style side too, thats why Playstation always look better than the “most powerful console”. But Halo fans should demand more I think.
Claudio Montufar 1) In mentioning Ratchet, you’re comparing apples to oranges. Ratchet is an animated game. The artstyle is purely cartoony. There’s nothing realistic about the game. With Halo, the game has always had a semi-realistic artstyle and flair. Halo was never meant to be a fully realistic or animated game, whereas Ratchet was meant to be a fully animated game. 2) You conflate artstyle with graphics. I’ve had to point this out numerous times already. Artstyle is different from graphics. Artstyle is the design of the game’s environments, characters, weapons, tools, etc., while graphics is a technologically generated "layer" or "polish" placed over the artstyle to make the game look great, and with FPS games, look realistic. This is done with shading, lighting, and texture. Artstyle=designs and Graphics=shading, lighting, and textures. Stop conflating the two. Halo Infinite has a perfect, classic artstyle. Thats what he and millions of others are happy about. Now they just gotta work on the graphics, and Halo Infinite will be perfect. 3) You're assuming all Xbox players (notice how I said players, not fans) are the same. You have your Xbox FANS, the techies, then you have casual PLAYERS who have an xbox not because they love it but to merely play their favorite games. This is the category the vast majority of Halo fans find themselves in. That’s just the thing with Halo fans. We don’t care for Xbox or any other platform. We only care about Halo. We aren't techies. We've never boasted about our platform being better beacuse we don't care about xbox, just Halo Infinite. We don’t demand more graphically from Halo because we're satisfied. Halo’s semi-realistic artstyle is part of what made us fans. It’s cartoonish look is part of what made us fans. It’s what we love about the game. We never want that to change because changing it ultimately changes Halo itself. That’s why 343’s earlier games did poorly compared to the Bungie games. We love Halo for how it traditionally looked, and after ten years, Halo Infinite has restored that look. That’s why we’re happy. Halo, to us, is a package. Our love for Halo neither begins nor ends with graphics, unlike PlayStation fans, who apparently care about graphics alone. Graphics are the last thing we enjoy about Halo. What matters most to us is story, music, sound design, and gameplay - all central components of the Halo experience. These things, in addition to the artstyle, made us fans. That’s why you’re confused as to why Uber nick and millions of others are happy with Halo Infinite. You just don’t know because you aren't an original fan, captivated by the original games. The return of the artstyle, music, sound design, and gameplay, along with a story that seems like it will be amazing (Paul Crocker from the Batman series is in charge of story), makes us extremely happy and excited for Halo Infinite - not graphics. We aren't into Halo for the graphics. If we were, we would've loved the graphically superior 343 games and would've never complained about them. But we did complain because we aren't into Halo for the graphics alone. So that’s why he is happy.
