I love looking back at how happy we were back then! I still love infinite, despite its lacks, but this era was magical
I think that’s Cortana in disguise. She fought and destroyed the AI sent to trap her, and imitated her to manipulate things.
That explains why Master Chief doesnt believe what she's saying lol he must know
I think that'd be robbing of us of a potentially interesting new character. But I do see it coming later on in the story with the two changing, but always sort of at odds with each other. And maybe at some point that leads to a "do you really know who this is?" moment
I believe she deleted herself, or the domain didnt cure her rampency just contained it. You have the memory echos where Cortana says "if you knew you were going to die what would you do" I believe in H5 cortana tried to take over the universe to make it better because her rampency was eating away at her, slowly killing her.
@@Cyrribrae I think we'll get a moment where we are given the opportunity to delete the new Cortana, but we don't because while shes not the old Cortana, shes still our friend. Kinda like Epsilon from RvB

I feel like Cortan't is a lot more obedient than other AI we see in the games, like, she doesn't care about being deleted, maybe the UNSC really toned down their independence after the created rebellion
Yeah, she definitely seems to have much less autonomy, which I actually like, because they seem to be hinting at a character arc for her to learn from Chief how to think for herself, who in turn learned that from the original Cortana. If executed correctly, that could be an excellent arc.
shes a dumb ai, thats the actual name for them, cortana and the orange pilot ai were smart ai's who could free think
@@Lesquidliestone Well, she was created for a single purpose unlike most AI. So i think she is in the middle grounds between a "Dumb" And "Smart" AI.

the simple plasma to energy sword was dope. Classic halo shit

Why is everyone missing the fact he uses a plasma to catch the plasma sword. Using the blast of the Grenade. Wake up guys.
That was one of the biggest things I noticed that just filled me with happiness. Its so reminiscent of using frags/carriers to blow the shotgun towards you when you have combat forms closing in on the library, and you couldn't run out and grab it before they would close the gap.
this was in halo 5 so that was kind of expected to show up again
Really annoyed that Forza got a show that was twice as long as Halo’s
Yeah but I love both games so I’m cool with it. A little more excited for Halo tho.
We’re getting another one tommorow tho with a full multiplayer overview, so I’m not too pissed. Plus, the forza showcase looked awesome.

If you notice, the cortana copy's facial expressions are amazing
The way she delivers her dialogue is so good too, it feels like old cortana, but since this a.i. is new, she looks nervous around chief
Also, according to the promotional material file names the new cortana looking AI is called “the weapon”... interesting.
Look how careful Chief is with the dead Marine and check out the new Cortana's mannerisms... THAT is subtle character building. This game will be great.
i don't know why, but the inside of that banshee looks so comfy, who knew the banished were great designers in furniture.

Hoping this game confirms that Cortana is infected with the Logic Plague. That copy of her that goes with Chief is pretty similar in mannerisms and conduct to Offensive Bias.
I know everyone calls it samurai armor but that armor at the end i think is the doom slayer suit with modifications. It’s to similar not to be a crossover. Plus Microsoft owns Bethesda now so it’s entirely possible.

@Con-El I get you want to be optimistic. We all love Halo. But in my opinion Bungies games were far superior. Why would you want anything less. The idea behind a successful franchise is that every iteration should get better and better. 343 has proved they cannot do that. I think if we want to make an expectation about a game you need to look at a developers track record. 343s is horrible(compared to bungies games) It’s like eating a hot pocket after you’ve tasted a delicious steak. Nothing will ever taste that good. That’s why it’s so disappointing seeing their games because you know it could be better. It has been better.
@Con-El I get what you’re saying. I desperately want this to be a good game. I’m just not gonna make the mistake I did with 4 and 5 which was thinking it could match or even exceed bungies games. Which 5 was marketed to do just that. I think 343 has done well improving the multiplayer and forge. I’ll give em that, and I’ve never been against the movement mechanics.(part of the reason I love reach) But for the people who play for the campaign like me, I think want the realism and grittiness of reach and ODST. Halo to me felt real like it could really happen in the future it was mature. This to me feels like a cartoon. Or a power rangers episode, but you’re right. It’s wrong to expect the same DNA that made bungies great. But man you can’t help it when the game holds the name “Halo”
Bro, halo has to evolve if it wants to be a competitor to other games, barely any one plays mcc anymore compared to how much everyone used to play it. They have to evolve halo some way so they can grow their player base and bring in new players that never played halo. I personally am liking this direction that 343 is taking and can’t wait for the campaign

I'm really glad the prometheans guns are sticking around as seen by that first non UNSC gun in the multiplayer part. Even new one! It would have been weird to just write out all the prometheans at this point i think. I hope there's at least a few in campaign.

@@ready1player31 I hope it's an indication that the prometheans are coming back because they had so much wasted potential s a fun enemy but they were just WAY too damn spongy
This is my opinion, but I really hope they add in firefight and show actual blood in the game, it can change the atmosphere of battle instead of it being like power rangers
Still wondering if we'll have assassinations like we had in Reach 4 and 5 or if we are returning to classic one tap. Really hoping for the former

Theory: ordinance will be like a random drop at a certain times in btb that players can grab. Maybe in rotation for a few veichles or weapons.

Doesn't look like it. Even with equipment and the grapple hook, this gameplay is remarkably slower and more strategic.

You do realize there's still sprint,slide, ads, AND GRAPPLING HOOK HIJACKS.
If grappling hook hijacks is available to every single person, there will be zero reason for ANYONE to use vehicles. Because even if you have a scorpion anyone can steal it from what appears to be a generous distance.
On top of that people are spidermanning around with the grappel...

@@ianhandy5090 I'm just noting how what we have seen hasn't involved as much cocaine movement. Compare a few seconds of footage from this and a few seconds from 5, nearly everything is slower.
The campaign and multiplayer looked great.

@@Suumac_ They're going to do an overview of multiplayer tomorrow, so there is an actual chance that there may be a big third mode. Currently however, BTB now supports over 20 players

I am very excited for this game. And honestly I don’t care if Sprint is in the game and I don’t care about the stuff that Hardcore halo fans constantly complain about. @@kingrushy4533 Not at all, it takes place on Reach alone and Reach was never exposed to the Flood. There were survivors (NOT Noble 6) and scavengers still there, along with the Banished and their allied/rival tribes.

In the scene where Master Chief was floating through space, I loved how gentle he was being with the fallen Marines compared to the dead aliens he was just throwing around. It really shows how much he cares about each and every one of his brothers. Really great detail IMO. Gave me chills.
Always been stated in the lore how much he cares about his people around him.

I wonder if Skewer shoots faster than SPNKR? So maybe Skewer is best against fast, smaller vehicles and can knock them over. While SPNKR is best at huge explosions against slower tanks and stuff

Generally speaking, Composed sentients don't retain their personality, and if memory serves the Didact found from Requiem was *not* composed, they had died to conventional firearms after Blue Team kicked the ever loving shit out of them.
