My guess is French Black Marans.
Look like black & copper Marans but idk I’m a Nooby, but I’m hatching 26 crested polish eggs currently from my flock most likely will come out Golden Laced I think my Silverlace rooster is a little young to be fertilizing eggs but he’s just starting to try. That being said, I separated him and my white silky hen and put them together because they would make beautiful fuzzy big hair babies. And I have to admit my silky rooster is kind of fugly. poor guy lol
I’ve been hatching eggs for about 20 years. It never gets old. It can be very addictive. 😆🐣Getting eggs in the mail can be hit or miss. It all depends on how they were handled during transit and how well they were packaged. Yours looked very well packaged. Best of luck! Hope you have a great hatch. The kids are going to love it!

I incubated chicks and quails 5 times I got a GQF Hova Bator and I literally never flipped my eggs upside down for 12 hours and I’m pretty that’s why I have bad hatching rate thanks for the tips😊

Awesome to see you actually received hatching eggs. I ordered some and the business sent me live chicks with no notification. Their response when I called was I should be happy with what I got because eggs rarely ever hatch 🤦♀️ seriously???

That's crazy! I've never heard of that happening!
@@troxycat yeah, I was extremely disappointed, but how they responded when I called was worse. I had to scramble to get a brooder set up too. I wanted American Bresse chicks to hatch. I ordered 36 eggs and they sent 15 live chicks. I just wish I didn’t waste the money on the incubator. Oh well, maybe another time.

We have the sameness incubator and it works great! We are going to put turkey eggs in it in a week or two!

Just noticed your Video for today... Monday. Reminded me I was going to mention power outages and incubators being used. And what is your backup plan? 🤔😟. 👃✌️🥰🇨🇦
We would use our power station to keep it having power. If we didn’t have that maybe you could try to warm a blanket somehow and wrap the eggs?
@@AcresOfAdventure Yes, temperature fluctuations are deadly. If a person has a small designated warm room when you kinda give up on the rest of the house 🤔, maybe having a shelf up near the ceiling (heat rises), that you've done temp checks on....... Maybe a mirror mounted somehow so you can monitor the Turner thingies, etc...... 🤔🤨... (I know, I know.... I am SUCH a "worry wart"... 🤣🤣🤣✌️🥰

Things about hatching eggs -> u need to b sure the male & female r same breed. Unless all u care about is just a chick
