    That is an amazing hatch rate for shipped eggs.. You clearly have some great methods! I ordered some of this years Live Duck/Turkey Chicks from TSC/Hoovers and meanwhile since ordering them I've bought & hatched several batches of chicken/duck/turkey/quail eggs from eBay lol. Next year I'm trying Meyers for my Live Chicks because this wait has been unreal.

    What “method” did you use for your hatching? I’ve heard the hybrid dry method (no water first 18 days and then water on lockdown) works great. Curious to know how you had such a successful hatch? Any tips would be great!!

    • @bri0013
      @bri0013 3 роки тому

      You probably need to be around 30-45% Humidity during the 1st 18 days. (Depending on your local climate)
      During lockdown around 55-60% humidity is usually suitable for most.

      @@bri0013 Hey, I’m still figuring out my humidity and I’m really overthinking this. I’m from An hour away from Houston, TX. from my understanding the colder it is. The less humidity you’ll need. Whereas where I live it’s not too cold not too hot, but we do have more humidity. So would we also need less humidity for the incubator? Still trying to get this right

    • @bri0013
      @bri0013 3 роки тому +1

      @@jaimerodriguez1332 being as how you live in Texas on the general sense your climate typically runs drier than mine here in Georgia. Generally the colder it is anywhere the lower the ambient humidity so that being said you should probably raise it up some. Get a barometer perhaps or watch the weather and get an idea for your humidity. You will typically operate your incubator between 35%-65% respectively depending on time of year and weather conditions. Hope that helps.
