    Your plug in compressor is a Low Volume/Low Pressure (LVLP) pump. Inflatables need a HIGH Volume/Low Pressure (HVLP) pump like your hand pump.

    Another great video Trip. You should come do some paddling in the Upper St. Johns River Marsh in Central Florida. Very wild with lots of big alligators. Sounds dangerous but they're actually big pussycats and very curious of SPB's, kayaks, and canoes. I have paddled over 250 miles in this area in the past year and it's really a great place to explore. Feels like old Florida too with a lot of pristine wilderness. Keep the videos coming!

    Hi! I have the Hyper but find it not stiff enough to handle waves. Does the Race feel stiffer? Does its narrower width make it feel less stable? Thanks in advance for your reply!

    • @TripSmith
      @TripSmith  4 роки тому

      I wouldn't call the race stiffer. Yes, definitely less stable on hte race. I don't think the flexing is anything to worry about in waves.

    Hey Trip. Thinking ahead to Rock-A-Dock, is there a place to rent and deliver/pick up a kayak? Is it generally safe to beach it nearby the camping area?

    • @TripSmith
      @TripSmith  5 років тому

      Hope you can make it! There are a couple places nearby that rent for day trips plus there is usually a few extra laying around that people bring. I think it would be best to not beach the yaks on the river much this year. Unless you tied it up.

    i am looking into purchasing an inflatable paddle board as i live so close to the coast i am looking to get one ranging from about £200 - £260 and was wondering if you suggest the aqua marina ones or if there is any others you suggest for an all around board?

    • @TripSmith
      @TripSmith  5 років тому

      Well, I suggest the Blackfin boards but it may cost you to much to get over seas. The Aqua Marina boards are still nice, but lacking a few small details. But an inflatable is the way to go in my opinion.... Don't forget used inflatables ;)
