- Blue Ridge Rangers classic "Blue Ridge Mountain Blues" performed by the group's sole member, John Fogerty, at Austin City limits on September 27th, 2008 in Austin Texas. With Jason Mowery on fiddle.
Thank God for John Fogerty! My five chidren grew up listening to his music whenever we were in the car...and we were always in the car. Heres to many more years!

I got the chance to meet John twice at the House of Blues in Hollywood. I waited backstage to meet him. He was a very very nice man...very humble. He signed my CCR music book and posed for a picture with me!
You know, I twittered him about how excited I was about the new Blue Ridge Rangers album and he twittered me back and said thanks for the support! That's the kinda guy he is...he seems to be in a real solid, happy place in his life right now...and I say that's GREAT!

John Fogerty was and always will be CCR. He wrote, sang, and played lead guitar on every song that CCR recorded. Go Johnny go.
Man can these guyz jam! John Fogerty's tha best there is when it comes to havin' music that'll withstand the test of time! Even after he embarked on his solo career upon parting from CCR, he's doing what he's always done best, pumping out the hits,still! Jason Mowery - u rock dude! And the drummer kix butt with his solid beatz! Luv this tune, we sing it as 1 of our cover tunez when we do tha country sets. Blue Ridge Rangers forever! You tha man John, you tha man! I had "The Blue Ridge Rangers" LP around 35 years back with these songs, lost it and miss those songs. John Fogerty live and 35 years older is close in quality to the studio here the band is better., this is good.THANKS

The Blue Ridge Ranger album from 1973 was a one man band projeckt.This new album project, finds Fogerty backed by an array of stellar outside players. Among those who participated in the new Blue Ridge Rangers sessions at Village Recorders in Los Angeles were Buddy Miller, Dennis Crouch, Jay Bellerose, Greg Leisz, Jason Mowery, Jodie Kennedy, Kenny Aronoff and Hunter Perrin. In the studio, Fogerty worked with fellow producers T Bone Burnett and Lenny Waronker on the project.
Really been looking for a proper quality of the concert i saw with JF... but the thing that i really loved about that concert was Jason Mowery on that fiddle..The entire concert was epic to the borderline of insulting to the other concerts i've been to. The execution on everything is so good I had the chills for a good hour and a half

My favorite Fogerty solo album, The first BlueRidge Rangers album. god bless him for being so strong for so long, anyone else would have given up years ago. If you can find it "BlueRidge Rangers album" need to take a listen. listen to the new one as well

Other songs Fogerty will perform include John Prine's "Paradise," John Denver's "Back Home Again," Buck Owens' "I Don't Care (Just As Long As You Love Me)" and his own "Change in the Weather," originally recorded for his 1986 album, "Eye of the Zombie
