John Fogerty and CCR, should get Kennedy Honors. They’re American Treasures. TK
Got THAT right!!!
I second that!
К сожелению,не ценили их, тогда в прошлом,а могла быть первой супер группой в рок музыке,!
They never did that? I’m surprised….you’d have the biggest stars covering his songs. It would be a big deal.
He's Canadian actually lol
So happy to see John happy in the end. He got his songs back, and all his fans back, and his kids love him, and his wife loves him, and he deserves it all. God bless you John, thanks.
Kinda like playing a country song backwards, right? Lol😍
@@rickycarter7154 Yep! Throw in a couple pickup trucks and a train and we got ourselves an asskicking country song here!
@@BillySBC Dont forget the Shotgun and a dog
He's looks and sounds as good as ever.❤
Yes sir. Amen to that
John Fogerty is a world wide treasure!
what an amazingly and totally unoriginal cliche... ugh
Sounds a lot like CCR
@@robinhood480
This is one of their biggest hits
You stole that phrase from me!

I’m sorry about that
John Fogerty still has it: Great Voice, Great Songwriter, Great guitarist (Rhythm & Lead) & a great backing band!
Looks young too. Hardly aged.
This bought tears somehow. I’m about the same age , went through the same things in the 60’s and CCR was always my “driving music” in my car , eight track or cassette. We were young back then . I’m glad we’re both still around .
Paul, I'm with you , bud. I'm glad too.
Never bettered. Cosmos Factory one of the greatest albums ever in what is probably the worst cover ever! Im 68 soon...25 in my head.
Mir geht es genauso! Ich fuhr damals einen Honda S 800 mit Casettenrecorder! War himmlisch mit DER M usik!!!!
We call it Carnie Music to this day due to the fact that all carnivals played their songs in the day on every Tilt-O-Whirl in every city across the country. Even on roller coasters.
Had a 1965 mustang and got my first speeding ticket ever playing this as loud as my Lear 8 track could handle. John still sounds great, even through my hearing aids. 😥😀
That guy can do more with a few chords than anybody on earth. What a legend, and he's still doin' it justice!
It may seem like a few chords, but it's not. There's always a subtle little hook. Ask Lou Reed.
Wrong.. Jimi Hendrix or Stevie Ray Vaughn.. what John forgery did along with his brother and 2 other members is crate a unique sound sound. Some songs he wrote.. others were written long before rock..
@@hectorraigosa7149 Huh? What does Hendrix or SRV have to do with this? Never heard anybody make an accusation like that about Fogerty. He has many originals as well as covers, as all the artists did back then.
@hectorraigosa7149 Wrong, 4 blokes named John Paul George and Ringo, and as for guitar, John got it right, 3 blokes, Jeff Jimmy and Eric. Actually, modern music, rock, blues, jazz, all have theor roots in Celtic music.
@@jaykay6387E isso é a pura verdade.
Alguém está querendo desmerecer esse cara que alçou o Ctedence no topo do rock
Sounds just like the 70's
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️☘️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
My favorite song of John and CCR...what talent and what artist!

Good to see you back John. We missed your stuff.
Song never gets old. Apparently neither does John. What a spirit!
1971 Concertgebouw Amsterdam. John Fogarty forever.
You write one mega-hit, you're talented or lucky.
You write dozens of them, then you have a God given gift.
John Fogerty is flat out - The Best ! I was at Woodstock '69 - I saw CCR. I mainly went to see them & Jimi. God Bless John & his whole family :)
So many young times spent partying to this music back in the day. Thanks John!
Absolutely awesome memories from my youth thank you America… Love from the U.K. 🇬🇧❤️
Truly American Legend
He's a lifetime in his own legend. Getting his guitar back and then his songs, it's like he's had new life breathed into him.
Took way to long! Let's hope he sticks around long enough for all us fans to enjoy this new life 😊❤🎉
It’s called Good Karma.
Such a Beautiful Rickenbacker, me and my brother are around the same age he is, still Rocking after all these years
Rock Musicians from our generation, just keep rocking
Please come to El Paso Texas at the Sun Bowel ! You are the greatest Icon I have been listening to since I was 8 yrs old. God bless you and your family, sir.
Love the Rick! .... and I love the Hammond organ in classic rock -- I can never get enough of it!
Cannot beat an AUTHENTIC B-3 tone wheel organ!
@@MDavidG1 Dire Straits right around 1980!
What an absolute Icon. 1970. I was 8 and in third grade. My favorite song was "Can't buy me love". Beatles. On my way home I stopped in the bowling alley, where there was a game room and a jukebox. Immediately, I witnessed a usually quiet kid from school singing and jumping around to " too too too , looking out my back door" ? At that moment, everything changed. Thank you, John for all the great songs and you are still kicking ass .
He still sounds great!!! Thanks! 😎
That guitar deserves it's own Netflix series
I'd watch that.
*its
What a story. Great story. Saw him 2x in the past year. Have 4 concert DVD'S AND CD'S. WANT TO DO A ROAD TRIP TO SEE HIM IN AS MANY CONCERTSAS POSSIBLE?
Need to do interviews with the audience member's. On the 50 Year Trip concert there was a great interview withv3 generations of CCR & FOGERTY FAN'S?
Awesome 👍
I wonder how many years it spent in the back of someone's closet somewhere?
One of the legends who HASN'T LOST A THING!!! Love 'ya John -- thanks for all the wonderful tunes.
78 years old and still rocking ! John and his songs stand the test of time.
love JF, i'm late to the party with his music and even trying the guitar at 38yo (13 yrs ago). Rockin all over the world, have you ever seen the rain, bad moon rising were an absolute joy to learn and nail
GREAT Thank You For Posting...! 😊 👍
Omg what a beautiful wife lm sure you just cried your eyes out when you opened that gift omg ❤❤❤❤❤❤
He still sounds pretty darn good!
Living American Legend!!! My Respects!!!
John is a Treasure!
I'm privileged to have his songs feature on the soundtrack of my youth!
Just fantastic that he's still Rockin' All Over The World with his children.
100 levels of awesome. Thank you John, for great old memories and some new ones.
I love hearing that song, I love watching you play that song and I love playing that song myself on my guitar! Everybody loves hearing my play that song. Yes, even my grandchildren who love to dance around me with joy as I play the song. Yes, JOY. You’ve brought joy into this family. Thank You Mr Fogerty.
John Fogerty. National Treasure.
True musician, survivor and a national icon. I was going to say treasure. You're welcome John.
A true legend! We love you mister Fogerty! Thank you for so many hits and beautiful songs!
Classy song. Yea. John Fogerty and CCR Forever.
One of my very favorite songs from then and now. I was around 13 at the time when I heard it. John still sings the same which is great.
proof positive MUSIC will keep you alive and well. time need not apply.!!
I learned to play this song just this very morning. Thanks for all the great classic songs John!
I'm almost 72, love music and admire musicians. On a scale of 1-10 on guitar, I don't even register, but I can "play" this one and a few other songs with relatively simple chords. Passes the time and makes me smile a bit.
Congratulations guys!
Beautiful tune, John's a legend 🔊😃🙏, Rock on John!!!!
My father's songs that I grew up with...
So damn glad I found this video. Time just stood still and I flashed back to my Pontiac Firebird and my cousins Camaro. Playing the tunes and doing what young kids do.
I wonder if the audience knows they're in the presence of greatness? CCR is timeless. Just genius.
John’s still underrated in my mind. A sweet heart and one of our best songwriters.
Underrated? Hahaha. "Underrated" is by far the most overrated word in the comment section. EVERY decent musician loves his songwriting abilities, his vocals and guitar skills. How can a legend be underrated?
Doesn't get any better than this
Great front row center coverage!!
Beautiful. What a great sound after all these years.
THANK YOU!
i love the fact he looks so happy to be playing his music on his guitar again. It was like his soul had been taken away,
I'm 74 years old. I was in my late teens when I first heard Creedence. People can say what they want but in my opinion, they were the best band in America at the time, hands down. The Byrds had pretty much flown away. David Crosby was gone. Buffalo Springfield had only made one album. Crosby, Stills and Nash had not formed yet. There were some good bands on the left coast but none really had the appeal to the masses that CCR had. Of course there were the Doors, the Grateful Dead and others. Santana was just forming. As for rock that appealed to everyone, Creedence was it. John has been through so much. He is kind of like Andy in The Shawshank Redemptions, swimming through a river of crap and coming out clean on the other side. He is trully an american treasure. There have been so many great performers that have left us this year like Jeff Beck, Robbie Robertson, Randy Meisner and Jimmy Buffett, we should all be grateful that we still have him with us.
The best 78 year old performer out there, doesnt color his full hair, looks great, and lets his guitar and voice and great songs do the talking!
John still going strong. God Bless you John.
Thank you John the soundtrack to my life and thank you God for his talent.
I have been playing guitar since I was 6. I'm 64 now. I played professionally in a country rock band from the age of 21 to 26. I have played as a single off and on since then doing jazz and cover tune instrumentals in nice lounges. I was never a singer but I have always said..."If I had the ability to sing rock and roll like John Fogerty, I'd still be doing it today"! Unparalleled classic, iconic voice! And he still has it!
Who cares
@@feenixrunner9638 Apparently 13 other people so far who have given my comment a "thumbs up"!
@@goldsluicetinkerer All anyone has to do is make a comment that says "thumbs down." Don't see that happening too much, yet.
@@goldsluicetinkerer Any one can "see" comments that are posted. Just as everyone can see "replies."
@@goldsluicetinkerer That's because there has only been one idiot that commented "who cares" who seemed to miss the compliment I was giving to Fogerty. Other than you and my own replies, the actual "thumbs up" is now up to 17. Why are we even having this ridiculous conversation?
young or old , live or recorded, John's voice and range never changes. An American rock icon and indeed a living legend
CCR that was my religion, feels so good to hear the songs of my first dance, first love again.thanks, always with you...
That is awesome to find his guitar 40+yrs ☝🏽❤️🙏🏽
Cosmo"s Factory was one the first albums I ever bought after getting my first job way back when in the early 70's. My stepfather would complain about what lousy music this was. Here I am 50+ years later and still love listening to this same "lousy" music - lol! Thanks for posting!
Same here. I bought the 8-track even before I had a player......
STEP ON HIS FACE father.
How can you not love this man and his music?
All I can say is great memories and THANK YOU!!!
Great to see and hear that John still has it!!

John Fogerty puts a smile on my face every time I see and hear him. From way back when I first heard him and CCR doing Susie Q to right this minute!

Still sounding great, John. Thanks for all the great music.

Eu o vi em maio de 2013, aqui na minha cidade, Belo Horizonte/ Brazil!! Amazing!!!
John Fogerty, what a legend. The guy is pushing 80, and looks about 60. Saw him my only time open up for the eagles at stagecoach festival in 2008.Traveled from upstate ny, and what a show it was.And of course he sang this song
Bless your heart John Fogerty. Great, grand, epic... legend.
My favourite when I was in college in the 60's and got to see him in his come back some years ago. Amazing!

Ya gotta love that jangle from a Rickenbacker. Such a quintessential American sound.
Some people are just born to sing rock and roll. Wow!

John fogerty is also a living legend
John is 78. Damn. Still has it,
At the end of 1978 I gave away my 1962 Höfner 172 to a kitchen's aid who was going to serve in Dutchbat in Lebanon. Finally early 2023 I could buy this exact same model and now after 45 years am happy that I can play it again
Best Time all over
I LOVE their music. Had every 8 track they played. C.C. R.
Thank you. Michigan
