This run was pretty far from optimal it was literally our first run where i didn't throw the dsm and swerve didn't throw meatball. Only 35ish seconds within our sum of best so with a little optimisation a sub 8 would definitely be possible.

Could you explain how that skip works for 2-3? The one where you shot stasis crystals

Destiny has something called default spawns, where the game wants to spawn you if you didn't touch the ground in that loadzone for long enough to set your respawn there. If you block that default spawn the game will spawn you in a fallback spawn which in this case happens to be at the boss. Aegis has a few videos about speedrunning and the current WRs where he gives a more in depth explanation about DSM (Death Spawn Manipulation) and other techs
