Blinking Through the Legend Zero Hour Exotic Mission (Solo Flawless) [Destiny 2]

- Destiny 2 Season of the Wish - Solo Flawless Legend Zero Hour Exotic Mission Using Blink / Blink Solo Flawless Legend Zero Hour. Just a quick video showing a solo clear of Zero Hour, using a blink Warlock without a sword to clear it flawless on legend difficulty. Details below.
Again, much the same approach as last time I did this years ago. Most of the blinks remained the same as back then, the section of 05:29 to 06:21 being the worst part. The double blink into the side wall can be tricky to hit, but the worst part is outside and the little drain holes. You can very easily bounce out and not be able to mantle on, they're a pain to deal with. The outside corner one was done with a Nova Bomb to get around it. While it's possible to do it without, it's pretty inconsistent, and back then nobody cared about it used, so I don't think anyone should now. Boss fight was once again slow, as I didn't want to have to start over.
I tried Dawn Chorus on Voidwalker, mainly to help boost the Dragon's Breath a little bit. Although in hindsight, again probably not the best choice. I also forgot about the ammo refill when running double special, so I should've kept that loadout on instead of swapping to a Shoot to Loot.
Anyway, that's about it for Zero Hour i think. I've got runs of all 3 classes on legend, along with the blink runs I wanted to do. I'll keep making the weekly guides until it's finished, but this is likely the last full run for a while.

Ended up doing it with some homies and got it done with 3 minutes remaining used starfire well and dragons breath indented kindness and a mountaintop we always do a practice run and make sure we got the jumps and everything down use heat rises on warlock
I think a lot of it is just getting the platforming section in the middle down right so nobody is lagging behind when the first guy hits the rally. Have the day's fire floor puzzle solution pulled up already too. I cleared it running a Dawn Chorus build with a Disorienting GL/Polaris/Fixed Odds LMG. One player using Dragon's Breath on the top of a tank will usually delete it with one shot (goes for Tower section and the two in the final boss fight). Good luck!
Yeah. Its always 5mins left on the timer when we reach the boss plus theres always this one guy who will be left/stuck behind.
Same I've tried meta loadouts and I always run out of time.
@@Bob-kf1qk i would suggest something like well and sunbracer warlock with indebted kindess, dragons breath and midnight coup with kinetiv tremors, thats what i used and it helped a fair bit, also practice aswell 😅
@@dj_dadi same we always reach 5-7min to the bosses .. we lose out of time. honestly destiny took it too far this time.

16:38 rans out of bullets. bro equips a scout rifle and magically generates ammo for both heavy and secondary and that my friends never ever has happened to me.

The game will generate ammo if you're completely out.
Swapping your guns will cause the game to spawn some ammo for you it doesn't always work correctly but it's a handy feature.
I was thinking the same thing. And now I want to run double Special all the time.
@@DJVinnieVegas that doesn't work well anymore it reduced the drop rate of special ammo weapons and you get less ammo per brick

How did you get ammo for everything again after switching to the scout when you run out of mountain top??
When you completely run out of ammo you get an automatic restock, it just happened while he was in his menu switching load outs.
Maybe shoot to loot?

It's more impressive that he's doing this without eager edge for a lot of these jumps. I know blink is momentum based and eager edge can throw off a lot of the spacing for blink but a lot of these can be made easier with it

I have mad respect for anyone that can use blink in pve period. Shame you need to use astro for that range boost though: hoping bungie gives in and just buffs blink and reworks Astro. (If they did change this lemme know)
I don’t like the range difference because after awhile of using blink you get a feel for the range. Changing that messes everything up

Same question, how did 4 Hothead ammo just appear?? Is it some loadout switching glitch?
It's a normal ammo drop that happens when you have 0 ammo for all your weapons. Now this only happens with double special weapons since primary is now unlimited. After a few seconds you'll get special ammo and about one third of the time heavy ammo as well. You can also sometimes get this if you only have 1 or 2 shots left but usually you won't get heavy.
I think Eso really likes this mission
I noticed your start mission time was 20:38 and i went back and re-watched most of my attempts and majority were start time of 20:13 and only 1 of my attempts had a 20:38 start timer. Just found it odd wonder why that is. Load in time maybe.
Also thought this was normal, didn't realize it was legend until 4mins through😂 actually crazy

Goated run but im curios why not switch to an eager edge instead of commemoration for some of the jumping puzzles, felt like even one sword swing could have helped at moments like 6:35.
Using a sword removes a lot of the challenge from doing it blink only, and a lot of the most difficult jumps become very easy with it. So I wanted to make sure I did it without, to keep it inline with a blink only run

legend route is the same route it's been for legend since the mission dropped in Season 6. I used to do legend helps for my clanmates back in the day.
