@Shadow I like that they at least kept it so he never fully healed. Like there are other heros worh healing factors but they stayed dead. Logan has always had one of the best I belive so it makes sense his body would stay alive at least.

Yeah that's something I always wondered about too with Logan because there's a reality where Deadpool was the only hero in a zombie apocalyptic world where Deadpool DID get infected for a bit and then his healing factor came in and restored him back to normal. Heck Deathstroke is in a similar instance in the DCeased Unkillables story. Zombie Peter in the original was my favorite because he was like the ONLY one who actually argued and question the whole group (including himself) about what they've become and how they aren't fit to be the so-called heroes they once used to be.
I think it's clear that the zombie virus isn't simply a biological virus. It .ight have been magical in nature. It was created by an unfortunate cycle that leave both it's world's for dead.
Brood huh??? This explains why Wolverine was not turned unlike the regular marvel zombies, his healing factor saved him from the brood many times. This also explains why Wolverine acted the way he did when he saw Captain Marvel in issue #1, he knows the Brood smell perfectly.
Makes sense because he’s had encounters with the brood before but they are also kinda mutants in their own right because the brood made their way into Galatus and then boom they infected a lot of the marvel hero’s and villains . What happens with venom if they try to infect Eddie Brock or who ever is wearing a symbiote
I think even the regular zombie infection would not affect Logan that much, because if you have read the a Deadpool comic where he was the only hero left around and the whole comic book becomes a Walking Dead like aesthetic, DP's regeneration help him turn back into becoming DP again after being bitten by a zombie and same thing happened too Old Man Logan when he was on the Marvel Zombies universe.

Since this was a brood infection that his healing factor was able to overcome years before this, he had inmunity. The first time he was infected by the brood he turned, but then his healing factor fought thr infection. Because of that previous infection his healing factor learned to fight the brood in a better way, making him inmune. Heck, the original infection was so strong that Logan destroyed his own arm after attacking silver surfer with so much strenght that his bones and adamantium claws cut his own skin. Maybe since Logan is dead, there is nothing to heal anymore, making his healing factor either dead/inactive or completly overwhelmed by the infection. Even after 50 years of eating the whole universe his healing factor never healed logan from the infection, again, maybe because it was dead/inactive or simply it was an incurable desease. About deadpool...have you heard of headpool??? Not even Hulks healing factor saved him...to my knowledge, nothing organic has been able to resist the zombie infectio, with or without a healing factor. Spiderman healing factor delayed the transformation, but that was it.

Something this comic just made me realise about magneto, he would do very well as a solo act, man could just spin razor thin pieces of metal around him at super high speeds and slice his way through a horde of zombies without worrying about them getting too close.
Why is Moon Knight never the hero in these? He is constantly brought back from the dead thanks to Khonshu, he is near ideal to be a hero that can be turned undead and forced back into human to keep fighting.
For all we know, he might pop up in the sequel series or a side story, considering he is becoming more and more popular as people begin to know who he is

the comics say that spider sense will not alert peter to somebody he trusts which is how venom is able to avoid the spider senseand when johnny attacked peter intially thought he was there to help. then after peter was attacked it's likely that peter knew that anyone could be a zombie after that and with the zombie threat being constant it would be going off a lot
I liked the idea of Peter being a father figure to Franklin and Val. Plus Peter is just so cool going as far to killing Beast just to protect Franklin and Val.

Personally, the writing and story decisions were smart in my opinion. They eliminated a good number of heavy hitters that would have stopped the zombie apocalypse. Logan surviving was brilliant because he has a healing factor. Heroes with super regeneration should be preserved not turned for an endless supply of meat. Blade probably has plenty experience fighting the undead. He probably knows the secrets to not getting bit. The best part was how long Spiderman lasted. He has some of the most valuable survival tools in my opinion. He has a secret weapon against zombies, his webbing. Most marvel zombies would not be able to bite him if he puts enough webbing in their mouth. He can use Andrew Garfield's technique and set up a spider web to detect movement. Goodbye surprise zombie base attacks. Another Andrew Garfield technique he can steal is his manhole cover trick. Swinging around a manhole cover is a great mid range attack that could take out hordes of zombies. The best part was that these metal covers are easily replaceable. With his spider sense, he can stealthily move through the city. Sure his spider sense is not 100% fool proof, but he can avoid a lot of difficult situations that would kill other heroes. Finally, Peter has good intelligence. He could figure out how to fix simple electronics, repair a car, or create valuable chemicals. Fantastic Four could not have left the children in better hands.
Seeing Peter not be turned into a zombie is refreshing, but never would I ever see MJ be turned into a zombie that must’ve been horrified by Peter to see MJ be turned into ‘them’ what would have been more horrifying for Peter is if he saw his beloved aunt be turned into ‘them’
The story is ok, but I do wish they could've done what Dceased did like show the heroes reactions to the virus and how each hero is handling it. Also if they done that this could have been a sequel to it.

DCEASED comic is one of most interesting comic story ever, and I believe the dead planet story is going to end in the saddest conclusion, as for Resurrection story is seems more brutal than the original, I hope they plan to continue on that story in the future with Marvel zombies Resurrection or possibly with a different title of Marvel zombies
Honestly, in this type of scenario Forge and Franklin Richard should have been taken out of the story. The combo of the two could be so OP. Forge the man that can basically make any machine (super underrated this guy, one of my fave) and Franklin who has reality and molecular altering power... think about it. Forge could probably make a de-zombifying canon or make the living immune to zombification or at the very least build defenses and protective gears for the remaining heroes. Franklin could probably save everyone (but likely die in the process) and basically either wiping out every Zombie or cleanse them of the virus but I think he could also help Forge with building stuff. Imagine Forge building armor/suit for the heroes to wear and Frankin could re-arrange said armor to be made of or lace with adamantium.
I'm sorry, but I've noticed no on mentions how cool the idea is that they made weapons using parts of former heroes, this would be a sick game with those types of weapons

I feel like this was a little underwhelming compared to the other 2 or 3 other marvel zombies comics. I didn’t really like this kind of artstyle since it doesn’t really suit the scary theme zombies are known for, and the storytelling for this is okay I guess. Either way, it’s another marvel zombie comic, so I’m still happy about it
I love how Wolverine in this story is essentially the one from the second universe from the time loop from the original story. However, they have a continuity error in having a living Peter. If Wolverine recognizes the virus, Peter shouldn't be alive.

Tbh the first Marcel Zombies series is scarier than Dceased in my opinion like imagine zombies superheros gets the tech to go to different universe and eats everything. Seeing the zombies being too savage that they just wont hesitate to spare lives. I'm wishing for a movie for it too.

Personally, the writing and story decisions were smart in my opinion. They eliminated a good number of heavy hitters that would have stopped the zombie apocalypse. Logan surviving was brilliant because he has a healing factor. Heroes with super regeneration should be preserved not turned for an endless supply of meat. Blade probably has plenty experience fighting the undead. He probably knows the secrets to not getting bit.
The best part was how long Spiderman lasted. He has some of the most valuable survival tools in my opinion. He has a secret weapon against zombies, his webbing. Most marvel zombies would not be able to bite him if he puts enough webbing in their mouth. He can use Andrew Garfield's technique and set up a spider web to detect movement. Goodbye surprise zombie base attacks. Another Andrew Garfield technique he can steal is his manhole cover trick. Swinging around a manhole cover is a great mid range attack that could take out hordes of zombies. The best part was that these metal covers are easily replaceable. With his spider sense, he can stealthily move through the city. Sure his spider sense is not 100% fool proof, but he can avoid a lot of difficult situations that would kill other heroes. Finally, Peter has good intelligence. He could figure out how to fix simple electronics, repair a car, or create valuable chemicals. Fantastic Four could not have left the children in better hands.
Seeing Peter not be turned into a zombie is refreshing, but never would I ever see MJ be turned into a zombie that must’ve been horrified by Peter to see MJ be turned into ‘them’ what would have been more horrifying for Peter is if he saw his beloved aunt be turned into ‘them’
The THING I like of this chapter of marvel Zombie is Peter survive the first outbreak in the beginning

The story is ok, but I do wish they could've done what Dceased did like show the heroes reactions to the virus and how each hero is handling it.
Also if they done that this could have been a sequel to it.
I liked what DC did aside from how Superman got infected. like he’s literally invulnerable to anything but kryptonite and somehow the flashes bone broke the skin!? Fuck off with that shit what a load of crap
DCEASED comic is one of most interesting comic story ever, and I believe the dead planet story is going to end in the saddest conclusion, as for Resurrection story is seems more brutal than the original, I hope they plan to continue on that story in the future with Marvel zombies Resurrection or possibly with a different title of Marvel zombies

Honestly, in this type of scenario Forge and Franklin Richard should have been taken out of the story. The combo of the two could be so OP. Forge the man that can basically make any machine (super underrated this guy, one of my fave) and Franklin who has reality and molecular altering power... think about it. Forge could probably make a de-zombifying canon or make the living immune to zombification or at the very least build defenses and protective gears for the remaining heroes.
Franklin could probably save everyone (but likely die in the process) and basically either wiping out every Zombie or cleanse them of the virus but I think he could also help Forge with building stuff. Imagine Forge building armor/suit for the heroes to wear and Frankin could re-arrange said armor to be made of or lace with adamantium.
Considering how Forge was killed really early on and Franklin lost his powers like almost at the very start.

I feel like this was a little underwhelming compared to the other 2 or 3 other marvel zombies comics. I didn’t really like this kind of artstyle since it doesn’t really suit the scary theme zombies are known for, and the storytelling for this is okay I guess. Either way, it’s another marvel zombie comic, so I’m still happy about it
It would be super good if Galactus somehow came back to life as a brood but with pure black eyes and just devouring anything that he sees brood or not
I agree the old one had more horror and the zombies felt scarier. I didn't care at all about Reed and Sue's kids as protagonist.

I love how Wolverine in this story is essentially the one from the second universe from the time loop from the original story. However, they have a continuity error in having a living Peter. If Wolverine recognizes the virus, Peter shouldn't be alive.

Tbh the first Marcel Zombies series is scarier than Dceased in my opinion like imagine zombies superheros gets the tech to go to different universe and eats everything. Seeing the zombies being too savage that they just wont hesitate to spare lives. I'm wishing for a movie for it too.

I'm glad Peter survived and didn't get turned. Every major marvel story event Peter usually ends up being important for the most part.
Honestly, what I like about this one is that the heroes, though not many of them are left, actually get a chance to be heroes.

i really like how peter thinks he couldn't be a hero because he thought of the pros / cons which was letting humans die and stay with the people who can make a difference. Which really is how humanity would survive dceased is clearly a better action killing heros left and right. but the reason all the logical power hitters died was because they wanted to save the human population instead of just ending zombies and staying with their own
