I won't lie, I still will never understand how wolverine and hulk became zombies with their incredible healing factors. Shouldn't this make them immune? Edit: I just heard how this happened, still don't understand it but now I know. It has also just occurred to me how wolverine in resurrection knows the zombies scent. I'm so slow😂
Characters like ghost rider didnt make sense but when it came to hulk and wolverine maybe its because of how strong the virus was. Since its a virus not of planet earth
It’s always bothered me that Wolverine and Deadpool aren’t immune given their healing factors. If it can fight off cancer, surely it can fight off a virus/infection.
The Army of Darkness crossover explained that it was a magical plague unleashed by the Necronomicon. In the Evil Dead movies, the Evil Force is able to possess people without having to bite or scratch them, although that is a way to become a Deadite. So it's possible from that perspective for them to get infected, because they are being infected by magic and not an actual virus. I think the story wouldn't be nearly as impactful or scary if there were heroes and villains able to fight off infection, because therr wouldn't be any stakes or tension with the conflict. It would just boil down to a handful of Marvel characters fighting super-powered Zombies, but we would know who would win cause one side literally can't die. Plus, an unknown, unexplainable infection (at the time) able to infect any superhuman, even if they are immortal, and turn them into bloodthirsty mosters capable of planning and still have the use of their powers? That's horrifying to think about
@@odoplaydead5012 nah, the virus is mystical in nature but the Necro omicron reveals that it's not the cause of it. It was showing up to Ash just to torment him because it hates him. Magneto is heavily implied to have made a deal with something that caused the Hunger thinking it would thin out the human population, not realizing it would effect mutants as well. I just read nearly all the marvel zombie comics and the spinoffs yesterday, so it's still fresh in my mind. Though later I think it's retconned to not have a real origin as the Watcher traps it in a closed time loop. He even says it has no beginning.
Well when you're being eaten alive I would think it'd be... just a little bit difficult to think straight. Especially since the virus immediately takes hold and makes them hungry.
He's human, but can take that form after infection. Human Torch was infected and was still able to flame up. Hulk was still able to transform back into Banner after his infection
@@antogno4625 it.. literally is. the five issues of Marvel Zombies vs Army of Darkness showed where it the plague started with an infected Sentry in heaven who after eating people at the gates punched Ash through the dimensional fabric and into the marvel universe then following him, showing how the Avenger's were first on the scene when Sentry followed Ash and began infecting them, showed how all the heros got to where they picked up in the main series, like how spider man got infected and fills in gaps between all the other side stories like Dead Days

IMO theres just something the old marvel zombies has that resurrection nor dceased doesnt have. while both resurrection and dceased has story going right but they both dont have the fear and trauma that can scare the audience. the old marvel zombies each characters designs are very unique and more zombified compared to resurrection where only dark eyes and blood all over the body, the fear factor of each zombies are just not strong, id say the same with dceased. another note is that each zombies in the original are actually more deadly when they show hunger and intelligence, thats what dceased honestly lacks but strong in exchange to power scaling of each zombified characters. while the resurrection shows intelligence on the zombies it just doesnt balance fear as much as the original. overall I still love how the original marvel zombies still shows fear its just so addicting to read over again despite the story being weak makes up for the world building and enemy variety

Marvel zombies has a lot going for it but they never actually resolve it. Like even in the what if episode, they had all the parts too and chose not to even though it's never get a continuation. Such a shitty fate to what I would say the only good zombie story
They kinda resolved it. The infection was so ravenous and the extent of its ability to infect or be cured was so unknown that it was a danger to the entire multiverse, so the Watcher contained it by putting it in a time loop, thus forever letting it feed and destroy the universes it was able to infect. Personally I think that bleak and uncertain end is much more impactful than having the Marvel heroes save the day like they always do. Then Resurrection up and ruined it...
Sean Phillips illustrated Marvel Zombies. It's thanks to him that it had such a good run, because I couldn't turn away from the gory (but entertaining) art. I also want to say that this story has run its course though, I wouldn't be interested in a reboot/sequel/etc.

Got that comic way back in the day, on the day it came out. Love that story. And it was like 40 pages! Instead of the normal 25-27 pages

Bro😭 He was just chilling eating a sandwhich like look at he's face why💀💀💀
2:00:32 ''AND UNCLE BEN!''
I got so confused then I rememberd The Thing's Real name is Ben
i mean... you can't say that and not expect people to think of spider-man's uncle ben.
A couple beers in and I'm watching his narrations play out behind my eyelids. Who's kevin feige?
The leader or producer of all the MCU films
I won't lie, I still will never understand how wolverine and hulk became zombies with their incredible healing factors. Shouldn't this make them immune?
Edit: I just heard how this happened, still don't understand it but now I know. It has also just occurred to me how wolverine in resurrection knows the zombies scent. I'm so slow😂
I agree it wasn't clearly thought out was it ? how would they pierce hulks skin.
Ghost Rider became a zombie the old story never made sense from how the infection worked to that whole temporal loop
Characters like ghost rider didnt make sense but when it came to hulk and wolverine maybe its because of how strong the virus was. Since its a virus not of planet earth
Ikr I don't think zombie teeth can pierce an Adamantium skeleton
The virus came from hulk.
Love your work Benny. Been a fan for a lot of years now.
I love that no one decided to self quarantine for awhile otherwise they'd have likely learned early on that the hunger would fade lol
Well when you're being eaten alive I would think it'd be... just a little bit difficult to think straight. Especially since the virus immediately takes hold and makes them hungry.
Erin/ Machine Man is the marvel zombies equivalent to The Doom Slayer.
How the HEcc is the Ghost rider a zombie
HE'S LITTERALLY ONLY BONES
Maybe he’s not really infected and just wanted to fit in with all the zombies
@@clamfam5965 He also couldve gotten bitten when he was in his human form
He's human, but can take that form after infection.
Human Torch was infected and was still able to flame up. Hulk was still able to transform back into Banner after his infection
Love the content but seriously can someone include the Marvel Zombies vs Army of Darkness for the actual full story??
Comicsexplained has all parts I think
That comic isn't in the same universe of marvel zombie
@@antogno4625 it.. literally is. the five issues of Marvel Zombies vs Army of Darkness showed where it the plague started with an infected Sentry in heaven who after eating people at the gates punched Ash through the dimensional fabric and into the marvel universe then following him, showing how the Avenger's were first on the scene when Sentry followed Ash and began infecting them, showed how all the heros got to where they picked up in the main series, like how spider man got infected and fills in gaps between all the other side stories like Dead Days
@@laytex134 just no
@@antogno4625 I've read them all and know but okay haha have fun being wrong, not my problem.
1:24:31 ironic
Good riddens😂
that twist with sandman is actually pretty good
11:03 Ah-hah-hah-hah-hah! Maybe not the best Zombiefoodified way to describe Galactus. How about Galactus Gizzada? It has a sweet filling like Twinkies.
I think this is the best *Machine Man* has ever been
Honestly? I agree
Never heard of him until this, but I really dig him. He's quite literally Marvels version of Inspector Gadget.
RIP Buddy ❤....
DR strange multiverse of madness is going to be crazy
It wasn't crazy but it Evil Wanda was surely mind blowing
@@Kenya_Sokdeez35 nah black bolt was mind blowing

You have no idea how happy I was to see this 🥰
Can you please explain Zombie wasp attacking Jocasta? Zombie Wasp was decapitated and Jocasta is in the 616 so it can't be that realities Wasp. Did they make a mistake or am I wrong?
Maybe it's a zombie wasp from a different dimension as the Mecha Zombie Wasp from Marvel Zombies 1 comic
PS: I think the story of Deadpool and ZombiePool in the savage land is the funniest/personal best thing to come out of Marvel Zombies
Decapitated wasp = Janet van Dyne
Squished wasp that attacked Jocasta = hope van Dyne.
Also not the 616 universe.
Rest in peace benny❤
This is my favorite ch on UA-cam you guys do the best love your work keep these great MARVEL COMICS COMING PLEASE

“T’Chala Twinkies!?”😂😂
Morbius fighting zombie superhero’s is better than I’d like to admit
Rest in peace legend! ♥️ your impact on comics will live on for decades 🙌
Absolutely enjoyed this1, thx again

23:43 ITS MORBIN TIME BABY!!!
Still feels so unreal… miss you a lot man
i love the zombies i hope that one day it will turn into a live action or animated series in the future
Funny enough; Marvel Studios recently announced Marvel Zombies as a tv show on Disney+!
@@DanielBrongers Yeah but thats gonna be all disney mandated so I doubt it will be too interesting, not that I mind the zombies thing isn't for me because I hate horror...why tf did I watch this entire video
it’s morbin time
This is a morb moment
Truly morbing
This is the weirdest story from Marvel yet.
Im sad I didn't find this channel sooner. Happy that I have YEARS of content to catch up on
IMO theres just something the old marvel zombies has that resurrection nor dceased doesnt have. while both resurrection and dceased has story going right but they both dont have the fear and trauma that can scare the audience. the old marvel zombies each characters designs are very unique and more zombified compared to resurrection where only dark eyes and blood all over the body, the fear factor of each zombies are just not strong, id say the same with dceased. another note is that each zombies in the original are actually more deadly when they show hunger and intelligence, thats what dceased honestly lacks but strong in exchange to power scaling of each zombified characters. while the resurrection shows intelligence on the zombies it just doesnt balance fear as much as the original.
overall I still love how the original marvel zombies still shows fear its just so addicting to read over again despite the story being weak makes up for the world building and enemy variety
Forever grateful to this channel ❤️
Wait… in Resurrection 1 Ben destroyed Johnny’s head. So how was the zombie Johnny on Earth able to go after Spider-Man?
Rip comicstorian
vaya con dios, hermano..
it s unreal.
thankfully he was very prolific. he will be in my to do list for a while.
all of my love to those who suffered the loss
I love this story sooo much thank you
Dang even when Deadpool is a zombie he still talks a lot😂
rest in peace 😔
ZombiePool is dumb how can Deadpool’s healing factor heal cancer but not the zombie virus and is isn’t even like DCs cosmic virus from a ritual. And if it was I would understand why Deadpool is a zombie

“Peter spins the block.” LMFAOA
ammmmazing stories and articulation my guy
Love you dude fly high
I will like to see the marvel zombies resurrection turn into a adult animated series on Disney plus in the near future can you guys please read nail biter and the strain for Halloween
I think that is the perfect time to do that since they are introducing the multiverse.
You guys won't believe what I have to say
Rip fam ❤😢
Man i will play this again, thank you sir for all you done and rest in peace
27:06 looks like the DOOM cover
“some of that magneto meat” 😳
Hey so will you ever do the official origin where it started with army of darkness because i feel like people should know how it began there
My favorite part was when Morbius said “it’s morbin time” and then morbed all over those zombies
Fr they got morbed
That was all crazy loved the whole new vid for it all
Sean Phillips illustrated Marvel Zombies. It's thanks to him that it had such a good run, because I couldn't turn away from the gory (but entertaining) art. I also want to say that this story has run its course though, I wouldn't be interested in a reboot/sequel/etc.
