I'll be honest I feel Scarlet Witch should have had more consequences for fusing with the book. Everyone reads it and gets transformed by HER doing, she consumes an entire eldritch god AND the book he wrote, and yet she receives no repercussions, a temporary transformation she waves off, and just snaps her fingers to turn everyone back. It honestly felt like a copout.
I have to be honest here. What was the point of Wanda grabbing five heroes to make them into "Darkhold defenders" if she already had all the power she needed to absorb the big bad herself?
I think he would become insane in some other way, maybe "magically" as heroes in comics. For example, he will become another mad servant of Chton and will be given new clothes just like heroes
@@sebastiancalvey1226 There is one more path to consider. Since the book grants visions of a personal "darkest" timeline, what that would mean for Joker could be the opposite. That he was never insane... Joker's vision could be that "Gotham" was just a therapy VR program he's been in for years. No Joker. No Harley. No Punchline. No Batman. None of the stories ever happened. It's all in his head. In reality, he's just a disturbed little boy going through therapy for some trauma. Insanity is his identity. Without that, everything is undone.
I don’t know I feel like wasps was quite a bit more tame than the others. Iron man was melted inside his armor and forced every person into human melting armor, black bolt didn’t know if he was himself or someone trying to usurp his throne, spiderman had everyone he loved taken away from him and forced his friend into a horrid torture to save his city all while watching the people of his city slowly and painfully degenerate, and his former enemies were still causing trouble for him. But wasp, Psychologically abusive husband
So of all of those that happened... peters dark world has him trying to outrun the apokalypse basicly. Tony essentialy lost himself to the suit until the machine just took over entirely... beginning a sort of apocalypse. Blade proclaimed himself king of a sort of post apocalyptic world. Bolt just got... very very confused. And janet literaly just failed to call marriage counseling and get things sorted before snapping. I dont know why but these stories range is severity quite a bit if you think about it
I just wanted to say, I LOVE your awesome narration of these comics. It really makes me feel like a TRUE comic reader that is delved into the magic of Marvel. I have never read a comic in reality, but watching your videos really makes this experience super majestic!
Main story about Chton isn't really good, but issues about Spider-Man and Iron man are brilliant. Wasp is good. Bade is so-so and Black bolt's issue isn't even about him
jezz evil spidermans story is the darkest everyone keeps falling apart and spiderman has to keep everyones body together endlessly and even the villains have suffered and he thinks Qwen is still waiting for there anniversary even thos shes long dead and spiderman just snaps
The spiderman one is just so sad. The guy crying because he knows what is happening to him, otto telling peter not to laugh, seeing a dead gwen stacy held together by webs, and him turning on reed. Honestly its just so fucked up and dark. Spiderman was 120 pounds, starving, and barely sleeping and he was stuck in a routine that was, at the end of the day, to keep him sane, because even if the world were to go back to normal, all would be dead or horribly disfigured.
Wasp's dark universe is a little weak. The rest had to deal with crazy situations. Janet just had to deal with an abusive husband. Like I'm not belittling spousal abuse or making light of it... but its a bit mundane compared to say... Ironman being turned into a fleshy goo in a metal shell, then in turn turning the rest of the world in goo people.
@@youtubestudiosucks978 yeah it's edgy af but it's actually concerning and terrifying like that dead Gwen caught me off guard because the second panel shows Gwen alive
Iron Man's felt like an eldritch/sci-fi horror, wile Blade's was an apocalypse in short order. Wasp's was close a true crime documentary while Black Bolt's (if it is him) was just psychological torment. Spider-man's was somehow almost all of the above.
It seems like each of these Darkhold stories are allegorical nightmare scenarios that play upon each of the heroes’ darker natures. Iron Man’s story represents his drive to improve the human condition gone rampant, no longer being a protector, but a forceful upgrader. Blade’s represents his detachment from humanity being pushed over the edge, choosing to rule over mankind as a king from a literal ivory tower. Wasp’s represents her loathing of Hank Pym and desire for freedom, going as far as to off him and take her freedom once and for all. Black Bolt’s represents his fear of losing control, of his kingdom, of his voice, of his identity, and eventually that fear consumes him and he silently surrenders to his fate. Spider-Man’s represents his anxiety with protecting everyone and being everywhere at once by literally binding the city of New York together.
Damn, first and last were absolute body horror nightmares... Iron Man becoming one with his suit and losing his mind, and Reed becoming stretched far beyond his limits... Brrr.

Mr. Fantastic made a new webbing out of his finger and it would apparently stop people and everything else from falling apart. He also calls out Peter on Gwen. He fights venom them goes to Gwen, I think before heading back to Mr.F he gets venom and since he's already losing it, venom just made it worse. He then uses all of reed for webbing.
@@heisenberg9306
He absorbes Venom at the end, and turns Reed into his webs.
@@A-G-F- What 💀 that's menacing
It's odd how Wanda that Doom was egotistical for not being there in person. Doom may be power-hungry, but he isn't a fool.
Iron man is really the only creepy Darkhold story. The others are really good but Iron Mans creeped me out
Yo agree bro was basically turning people into unalive n achinrs in tin suits of armor and with each casing the victims body being torn apart
So... Wasp killed her husband and... was that it?
I’ve been watching you for awhile now I appreciate you for informing us with these great stories keep up the good work man
Everyone got these new cool looking costumes and Iron Man over here having elephantiasis
30:41 it seems like all they need to do from this point is replicate richards' cells to mix with the webbing. But the problem with patience is that lack of sleep doesn't help it.
It would've been cool to see where fight the other defiled heroes and almost kill them, but end up coming to her senses and cure them of their madness
spiderman's story truly broke my heart
The Iron Man part reminded me of Akira where Tetsuo mutates.
Wait, so you're telling me iron man turned into springtrap? Sweet lmao
Mfw Iron Man's dark alternate universe variant is the man behind the slaughter.
Lol
Omg your right!
I have to be honest here. What was the point of Wanda grabbing five heroes to make them into "Darkhold defenders" if she already had all the power she needed to absorb the big bad herself?
To make the one offs
She needed them to weaken Cthon by destroying his army so she could absorb him
The Dark Ironman one sound like something from doctor who with the cyberman turned other people into machines
Darkhold Spidey should totally be a costume in the Insomniac Sequel
Just realised they really nerfed Darkhold in MCU
I know it's a different universe/company but I feel like the Joker could read the book and not change at all.
Hed Typically Have 3(as perusal)Routes. 1: Nothing(Noticable)happens to Him at All. 2: He Becomes a MAD God. 3: He only gets alil Bit More Insane.
I think he would become insane in some other way, maybe "magically" as heroes in comics. For example, he will become another mad servant of Chton and will be given new clothes just like heroes
He becomes sane.
2024 Jun 8 REST IN PEACE man
These stories are amazing I forgot about this a dark hole material I'm so glad he put it up on his channel🤔
i still can’t get over the fact that janet looks like she has a slice cut out of her head like a freaking pie at 19:15
Iron Man: Horrific
Wasp: Dark
Spider-Man: Creepy
Black Bolt: Eerie alone
Blade: Hail King Blade! 😜
for spiderman i feel like hes been reliving the same day in a loop kinda , like maybe gwen calling at the beginning was a recording
This is glorious as it is disturbing. God I love dark multiverse stuff
Bade is so-so and Black bolt's issue isn't even about him
I'm pretty sure it is Black Bolt, since he was seeing himself, right? It's more of Black Bolt having an identity crisis, but eh lol
Iron man and Spider-Man were my favorites
Drinking game, take a shot/swig of beer; every time Benny says "Dark".
Is this a good idea?
Near death
This is a cool story! I will love to see more of this, but oh well. Only time will tell.
9:40 Looks like Tony got a bit TOO excited in the old armor, if you catch my drift. The Internet access on his HUD had SafeSearch OFF.
Pepper had posted on her OF.
Friendly reminder that Doom probably could have beaten cthon if Wanda hadn't plotted Against him. This is a man who became god after all.
Stan lee's heart man don't this painful beyond words no more of this hell ask them to stop
It would be super wild to see darkhold Spider-Man in Across the Spider-verse or Beyond the Spider-verse
That iron man one is going to scar me for life
jezz evil spidermans story is the darkest everyone keeps falling apart and spiderman has to keep everyones body together endlessly and even the villains have suffered and he thinks Qwen is still waiting for there anniversary even thos shes long dead and spiderman just snaps
So... That iron man is basically cyber-man from doctor who? 😂😂😂
Darkhold Ironman feels like a literal take on the Black Sabbath song
Love this it’s so twisted and dark
Love this, reminds me of tales of the dark multiverse
Spiderman can never catch a break.
I completely forgot about this darkhold story
I prefer to call it the emo-verse cause their all acting like emo's
@@youtubestudiosucks978 fair enough and your not wrong
@@youtubestudiosucks978 yeah it's edgy af but it's actually concerning and terrifying like that dead Gwen caught me off guard because the second panel shows Gwen alive
So this is Marvel’s version of DCs dark multiverse
Iron man hitting em with the mechanicus ideology
Iron Man's felt like an eldritch/sci-fi horror, wile Blade's was an apocalypse in short order. Wasp's was close a true crime documentary while Black Bolt's (if it is him) was just psychological torment. Spider-man's was somehow almost all of the above.
So it is safe to say that Scarlet Witch has officially became an Elder Goddess and the most knowledgeable and powerful being in the universe.
That Iron Man story was fuckin' creepy. The suits were... consuming and attaching to the people that wore them?
tony using his suits to create zombies is horrifying
Damn. That's a really good point.
This was really good
So Iron Man becomes a springlock suit
Well yes, but much more... worse
Damn, first and last were absolute body horror nightmares... Iron Man becoming one with his suit and losing his mind, and Reed becoming stretched far beyond his limits... Brrr.
Also I appreciate a reasonable amount of ads. Lots of people pack 3 ads in a 15 20 minute video, really hard to sleep to good stories but you my friends are awesome 👌
My boy Peters was freaking depressing
Holy shit spider man's story is giving me nightmares.
that spiderman dark story is kinda messed up
Kinda? Lol
I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE ENDINGGG
Holy shit I need more of this
Makez Sense that the Unspeakable Tentacle would have a Different..... Term used to Refer to Him in Various Universes Universes
Fantastic just Fantastic keep up the good work sirs 👍 🙏
am i the only one that doesnt think most of these qualify as evil? for iron man it was his suit somehow either through the regeneration they added or personally i think more like a rogue ai that corrupted him (he also would of gotten wiped out by the other heroes pretty quick most likely as soon as any of them heard about what happened when he unlocked the building), blade is actually fair enough that is just an evil version, black bolt didnt really do anything other than get replaced and poor spidey was a hero at the end of his rope doing all that he could to prevent everyone just falling to pieces. Using ried completely isnt a just action but just his finger likely wouldn't of been enough and i cant blame spidey for snapping with what reid said to him. Everything was already hard enough on him without being lectured about what he was already VERY aware of
Love your channel bro ty for doing this.
9:35 Loving the Star Wars formula.
