The children have a bias against their mother that goes back at least a decade. They believe that the mom ruined their family along time ago. Lots of hearsay and speculation and no objections. The jury will have to prove that she killed her husband not that she cheated on him. It’s clear that she cheated and made selfish choices. The son stated that the mom still cooked holiday dinners and they ALL had a good time. The mom and dad decided how to run their marriage. The only suspicious things that raise eyebrows in my opinion was erasing the video in front of fire pit, and the “missing” gun.

My older friends for generations living on multiple acres kept a burn pile. I couldn't convince them they were harming themselves by stoking it with all the toxic chemicals (plastics) that constantly burned or public safety.
I'm guessing all those fumes at the Farris place which are pungant must have masked the dead body smell with likey some added animal carcasses to boot.
So many generations of rural people handled their trash this way by necessity. Many places didn't even have land fills.
Even though my friends were able to drive their bagged trash to the main street by pick up or golf cart they kept that old tradition going.

The family own a mini tractor with a front-dumper to turn over their compost pile. Anyone who can operate the tractor can move 300 lbs, just got to get 300 lbs to the door. Pulling a blanket with the load across hard floors or a cardboard sheet across carpet with the load is doable. Once at door, use the tractor. Easy.

Just because she and her husband wanted a larger house themselves? What about her mom? What about her siblings? She just states it like it would be a normal thing to do. It sounds like the only reason why they won the lawsuit was because her Mom got arrested. That seems super cold, greedy and horrible, am I missing something?

Yes on outside she had a good life but was it that good? Some women cant live without that luxury / man after so many years of living that life. You hear about it all the time. Then theres parent alienation and control on both sides. No he didnt deserve the way he died but i honestly cant make up my mind beyond reasonable doubt whether she did it or not. I was sort of thinking the same thing. The dad was a workaholic, he smoked 2 to 3 packs of cigarettes a day, and he drank Mountain Dew like it was going out of style. Can you even imagine how little energy he had? What really got me, was the daughter expecting the mother to apologize to the family after making up with her husband and giving it another try. It’s really none of the kids business. They are grown and gone. Except that they keep spending and spending and spending his money. I have such mixed feelings about all of this. After hearing all of the evidence up-to-date, I’m not sure that the mother did do it. There’s definitely reasonable doubt. It’s such a shame they didn’t just file for divorce and go their separate ways. That baffles me.
