Damn bro it's snowing up there!!! It's 78 here in Texas I'm about to go rip it up....let's ride my guy!!!!
Aye man, do what makes you happy. Got balls for riding in the snow haha. Ride Safe!
Haha definitely didn’t want to push it too hard. Thanks man!
does the white color do anything to mitigate the bike heating up from sitting inthe sun, or is it still really hot?
Still gets pretty hot after a bit
yeah if your idea of fun is going fast in a straight line, the R7 obviously isn’t for you, but this should have been obvious from the get-go. the bike is known for not having much top end, it’s a low-RPM torque city bike, not a highway machine.
stop rushing it...... i've been on my R3 for 4 years
I hear ya man. Appreciate the input 👍
@@sully2liveJust bought zx6r, had a ninja 300 for 5 years. Screw these carbon stuff, if its about riding, just wait till you find a good deal.
Nice congrats man! Yeah I’m not in a hurry, gonna wait to find the right one
R3 for 4yrs is wild.
Id go with the BMW over the R1
Liter bikes are a one trick pony. Theyre fun in a straight line and thats about it. The excitement you showed over the power on the bmw is only there for about as long as your excitement when you first got the r7. REALLY riding a bike to its potential is sustainable fun. A lot harder to do on a 1000 when youve only been riding for two months.
Id stick with the r7, and get fast on it.
Solid advice. I’m considering something in between the two for now.
You sound like every new rider. lol
BMW, Ducati & Harley, atleast in Cali are the only dealerships that do test rides from the dealership. Cause they have demo bikes, or like harley let you ride the one you thinking of purchasing.
As for Other brands unless they are having a demo day, they not gonna let people test ride a bike.
I think it’s based on their insurance policy. I was offered to test drive the R7 at a different dealership.
@@sully2live that makes sense too.
If you’re watching live, check in!!
good luck
Thanks man 🙏
I started on a CBR250R, went to Ninja 400, currently on an R1, and regret it. I’m getting a ninja 400 again this season. Everyone is their own person, so go with your gut 👍
Damn what do you not like about it?
@@sully2live it’s so fucking exhilarating, but I can’t ride it anywhere near it’s potential on the road. It also weighs a lot, I miss how featherlight the 400 was. For my purposes on a motorcycle, the R1 is overkill
I think u should GO with the R1 because this is the last year there making them....I'm getting one before the year is over
They are still making them in the US, its Europe they are not making them for.
yeah, don’t get a litre bike.
believing you’ve grown out of the R7 in 2 months very clearly shows that you’re a super inexperienced rider, and inexperienced riders tend to evaluate a bike’s “excitement factor” only by how fast it can go in a straight line, for which you need zero skills. once they can max out their sub-100 hp bike on the highway, they feel they’ve “grown out of it”, which couldn’t be further from the truth.
because you massively overestimate your skills, you will probably crash whatever litre bike you’ll get. again, going fast on the highway takes no skills, and a litre bike is extremely unforgiving. go rack up north of 20k miles on something smaller before you wreck a litre bike and yourself.
