These story’s we love. Really special. Keep these story’s a live.
Back in the days when Father Phil could stop off at the shop for an ice cream without having to sign autographs and have his foto taken, simple times back then 😂
Nice one Phil
9:44 A lot simpler and better times back then 👍🏻 Lovely Leitrim . Great to see that Farmer sticking with Stewart Agri far all these years ! Says a lot about the contractor 👍🏻
Early Nineties I recall slinging two sand bags across the bonnet of a MF 133 when drawing bales 🤣🤣
So good to hear the stories, great to have such a long term relationship with the same farms, knowledge of field postion & the varying ground conditions...Priceless...
The Landini was flying! :)
Superb video Farmer Phil, even clocked an old mobile phone on the dash of the Landini, wasn’t half enough videos taken back in the day
There's just something about those old Landini tractors that look real nice 👌
Our favourite farmer’s in the world 🌎.Good luck 🍀 was just watching about Farmers in Northern Ireland and then you came on .So shall watch now.Have a good evening.👨🌾👨🌾👨🌾👨🌾👨🌾👨🌾
Enjoy the vid Diane 👍🏻
Two 600 series in the field aswell happy days
Farmer Phil nice to hear about how father Phil started up 35 year ago and the tractors he had good video as all your videos are thank farmer Phil
Hi Phil nice to see a couple of 600 series drawing in the bales!
690 & 698??

2 lovely masseys drawing in there aswell!!
Cracking video as always. Love to hear the old stories. Keep em coming Phil
Great bit of farm history there. Look back to the past and ahead to the future - great stuff.
16:48 Great video Phil . Good thinking , very interesting to hear the background n history of yer contracting 👍🏻 Stick er out 👍🏻
Great video Phill , keep them coming 👌🏼🚜💪🏼
That landini was a fine tractor 35 years ago, brave set up at the time. And i saw him flashing the mobile phone in one video, that was something else at the time and bloody expensive.
Great video....nice to see the 35 out working 🤠
Great video, interesting to compare the equipment from the ‘80s to now… the 7618 has redeemed itself after the leak repair & suits better where access into the fields is a challenge with the 6499. I hope the Stewarts are baling those fields in 2058, might be all electric Masseys on the job by them. Keep up the good work.
Great video loved the old chat of35 years ago your ageing good Phil
Well done lads 👏
Goodman phil, great see the history and the change of machinery, great that you have same loyal customers over the years, keep videos coming
Great video and great to have a good machine 2 of them in the family
Great video Phil and what a great story I loved that little 35 they are a great tractor I had a good laugh at the brick telephone in the cab I had one of them back in 93 loading straw and grain in a new Volvo l90 b jaysus I taught I was the bees knees 😂😂you couldn’t even put it in your pocket 😂😂
Good video Phil
Great video Phil. Enjoyed watching
Cracking video as always.
Great stories about baling. we started making silage in 1982 and baling in 2005
great video
Just love anything to do with vintage farming, do show more clips of vintage machinery/ tractors in action in the future 👌 ( love to hear them sucking pure diesel )
Great to have good customers like that in contracting as that was the way it was years ago and somehow they had money ready the day you done the work back in the day too. 35 got it tight with the bales at the first size back then and remember a couple of 56 pound weights getting tied used the front axle but the later sized bales ended the 35 and 135 moving wrapped bales
Nice one Phil the history is interesting is a fusion 4 on the way
Great video phil seen you at the ftmta show there today
항상 재미있게 보고있어요 ❤
Nice to see the fell coming back to ye every year
Get vid today phill. Good to look back!!!!
I can remember the first time I saw silage baled beside me the old boyused the wife as a wight block on a 35🤣😂🤣
Great vedio Phil, when did your Dad get the first wrapper ,I'm taking a guess would it have been a Tanco with a 500 ml Bale Dispenser on it ,
Hello from Northern Norway! Incredible that your McHale have gone more than 80000 bales and still going strong. Are you aming for 100000. 😀
That’s the plan
That tune in the background at about 4-5mins. Pure iradio special 😂 was up and down the length and breadth of the n4 between 2009 to 2015, and I swear that's all that station ever had on 😅. 100% you're an aul iRadio enjoyer and that's who was was playing it 😂
Great stories 👍 will you do a review of your thoughts on 7618 so far??
Surely you need a classic landini in the fleet for old time sake? It looks class.
Great video as always up leitrim your on the good ground now😂😂😂luckily father phil wasn't down this way in 1985 we buck racked 30 acres into a pit because it was to wet for single chop fields looked like they were ploughed after it was finished
That was one bad year
@@seanmcguigan346 I just remember it I was 7 remember tractors with twin wheels backing around the field and into yard one tractor stayed in yard pushing up to minimise muck in pit make for good viewing now if ya had it 😂😂
I don’t remember it but heard stories, bits of pits of silage everywhere in corner of fields terrible year
@@williamdonohoe6842 around Tyrone we were towing the small baler around fields with two tractors. Unreal weather that year. Any fodder was better than no fodder
Have you managed to get a combine sorted Phil? Or are you using a contractor this year?
Some difference in the size of machinery back then to now, the roads are just about wide enough these days !
10:35 who’s that ? Was that Ian on the Landini there ?
I'm wondering what TV show(s) was recorded over when father Phil shot that video? I remember there rarely wasn't a fully blank VHS tape in our hous!
👍
Is farmhand the crowd who are now the main krone distributors in Ireland?
Will ye come to sligo lad
Remember them in 88 when massey went posh git with 300 series not sure I'm right can't remember yesterday
Remember that from last year year's passing fast
👍🙂
Where in Lovely Leitrim are you
Big fan of massey what 600 series was that the 699 was the best ever
Thats like us whit are 135 and the ley baler packs them to well
Good square round bales he says 🧐
Well
2 collors keep birds away? Realy?
How many bales have the f2 gone now?
Cześć. Ile bel ma już zrobione twój mchale fusion???
Did ye get the music from Nolan episode on farmflix?
exactly what I was thinking aswell
Do you perhaps know the name of the song? I've been searching since day 1 for it but haven't found it yet
Song details are in the description of the video
Who u baling for and where I’m from Leitrim
just wondering how EL NINO is effecting the weather on the farm ???
Are ya going to the mullingar show
Brillant phil
Would baling be your favourite job phill ?
Piping is my favourite
👍🙏🇨🇮🇨🇮
Is there any significance about the two tone wrapping on the bail's.
Keeps the birds away he said
@@gregshearer423 must have missed that bit
Using older equipment is great if you can work on it
You had to put the silage bales in bags back then.
Pur hardship, I remember it
Knives up mean you're chopping?
It does yes
That landini looked to be doing a good job, think they had perkins engine.
Aye they did them Landini's from 80's to mid 90's were great machines if you got the cabs and panels dipped
I had 2 Landini 10000s both 1984 one was standard 100hp the other I put in a Perkins boat engine non turbo was putting out 154 on the dyno some engine! But Landini built the 600 series Massey and the 1034/1134 Massey
@@keithmchugh2558 I'd say they be some guzzlers
That tractor should have break to clutch like the kubota you had last year
Journey to Leitrim take long???
30mins with the 50k
@@FARMERPHIL3690 It would take a bit longer if You were heading to the North Leitrim Coast......😊😊😊😊
Your rams just needs resealed. Common fault. Easy job to do
Is leitrim actually lovely 😂😂
12:02 the 35 is lifting the Fusion bales no bother lol 😂 n she struggled to lift the Farmhand bales 30 years previously lol 😂
Think he said before they didn't pack them as much for that tractor to carry them. 30 years ago bales were probably made wetter too 😂
@@kieranosullivan02 he did . A few special ones lol 😉
They did something with the 399 engine was not good sounds horrible
More comment of me i am sorry I'll try to stop tapping fast love massey 200 300 300 sorry my head not working
Where in Lovely Leitrim are you
