Thanks for shooting this video! This is like the "King Kong vs. Godzilla" of hot dogs! 😆I don't think this is a fair comparison for Vienna Beef, though. The Sabrett's is a natural casing hot dog, while the Vienna Beef dog are skinless franks and not Vienna natural casing frankfurters. They are two totally different dogs. The best way to get maximum flavor from hot dogs, is to steam them. It keeps the flavor in them, while heating them up. Push cart vendors like to make them "dirty water dogs" (boiled). I am biased, because I grew up with Vienna Beef Natural Casing frankfurters in the 70's. I love them! 🌭🌭 It's very hard to get them in the stores here, in CA. They are both very good hot dogs. I'm happy that Vienna Beef won, but the Vienna Beef should have been a skin dog, also. IMO.
VB and Sabrett are surely top tier doggies. Try this, available in Las Vegas at Smith’s. Boars head, all beef, NATURAL CASING! The best hot dogs in the world. I promise.
In stores in Orlando I can't find Vienna Beef. But Im currently on business near Chicago and bought some Vienna Beef dogs. OMG. They are by far the best hot dogs I have ever had. Nice snap. Juicy, beefy. I just ate four for lunch!. No bun.
Would love to see a comparison between VB and the famous Maine red dog( Jordan Frankfurters). Or the Popular North Carolina red dog(Bright Leaf) both are supposedly at Walmart every time I research they are sold out, Are they THAT good? One way to find out! Go for it !
I don't take this test seriously because he chose Sabretts hot dogs with no casing. A hot dog w/o a natural casing is just a limp slab of processed meat, I avoid them. I never had a Vienna beef dog, they don't sell them in my area so I couldn't say but it sounds like he was using their natural casing variety when he said they have a snap. Sabretts are pretty good but I think Nathan's natural casing dogs have a better flavor.
So you obviously been to New York and been to a pushcart hotdog stand did you notice the difference it didn’t snap Gray’s papayas and all some bread postcards use Sabrett natural casing hotdogs best hotdog you’ll ever eat by far used to be only sold to vendors but now we have the Internet not sure why they never put them in stores
I would rather eat a gas station hot dog at my local Circle K than a Sabrett's. I mean, they are absolutely and utterly tasteless with a mush texture. Comparing it to Vienna Beef is sacrilege, it's like comparing a frozen hamburger to an aged tomahawk steak. The red bull meat, the natural casing, the spices - not to mention the 3rd generation butchers hand trimming the meat at the factory like masterful artists. Don't take my word for it, go watch the tour video on YT. I had the pleasure of seeing it in person and it's unreal - humbling and awesome.
No way. It was obvious you were partial to Sabrett. It is alright if Vienna comes in second. Another challenge but this time blindfolded and bring in 2 more judges. 2 out of 3 ain’t bad!!
this is just an excuse for you to get away with eating 6 hotdogs. Lol
Texan here. I've had them both. Vienna is King !
Can't go wrong with Vienna!

It really is the best way to cook hot dogs, even if they are Bar-S! :/
I love this idea I subbed
If it ain't a Sabrett, it's fucking garbage.

No, the Sabrett's had a casing, and the Viennas didn't.

Sabretts are the best hot dogs ever. Nathans are a close 2nd.
Sabrett hot dogs are the best!
Not enough snap for me. 1. Vienna, 2. Sabrett, 3. Kibble, 4. Nathan's
What brand is your hot dog buns?
St. Pierre brioche. Awesome.
Sabrett 💯
Best hot dog around.
Where do u get your sabrett and vienna hotdogs at?
I can find Sabrett only at Sprouts but Vienna beef is everywhere. Any grocery store sells it here.
I live in the sw of vegas area cant find the Vienna anywhere, any where I should look?
