Another home run from Priya. One of my favorite things about you is that you dignify everyone you meet: with warmth, with grace, with genuine curiosity about their role in an operation, but beyond that, about their story, their life. Keep up the good work!
Also, not gonna ignore the fact that Edgar just picks up a hot dog and eats it as is 😂

I love this video series. Priya is the perfect host for this. She is so enthusiastic, curious, and genuine. Her interviews with workers are so lovely. I enjoy hearing her speak Spanish to folks. I feel like these videos really shine a light on people whose efforts aren’t always recognized, despite their work product reaching so many. Keep these coming. I love seeing these processes and hearing from the people on the ground.

This is so much about the story of America. Immigrants and people born in the US working together to make a classic American food. As a teacher, I'm very happy to be showing this video to my students for their writing projects about where food comes from. Great work! Thanks, Priya. As Jose Andres says, "Immigrants Feed America."

It's nice seeing the different hot dog manufacturers opening up the facilities and showing that they have top notch equipment, processes, and cleanliness. Helps shed the Sinclair Louis type beliefs about the modern hot dog that some people still believe.

At 4:51 when she asks if this meat has bones, and he says yes, and goes through how many blades they go through and again when it gets emulsified , he doesnt say that the bones are removed so I'm guessing the bone is broken down to the point where it's mixed in with the meat when it becomes an emulsion.

I'm a vegetarian [not vegan!] and so don't eat meat hot dogs, but my family eats meat and I do the shopping so was interested in seeing how the Sabrett's were made. I had heard once that you don't want to see how hot dogs were made, but honestly, these look OK... though I'm a bit put off by bone being ground up in them, though I suppose it's OK as bones are a good source of calcium and if they're super ground, it must be OK. Hubby loves hot dogs... So I feel better buying him Sabrett's, knowing how clean the facility is and how the ingredients are just beef and spices, no weird fillers.

She jels. Like a kid in a candy factory. Even her voice high pitch tones amid all the background noise are a perfect fit. Not soft spoken , but easy going , and ebullient , and this is what makes her perfect for the subjects the editors pick.
Also the blend of sound tracks are on spot. The production team makes it sing. There is some NYT quality to it.
And the underscored factor , the workers that show up for the shift , this being NYC , I am sure they endure MTA brutal , cramped , and often late trains and subways , so props for them to carry on with gusto.
Bravo Pryia team. You are the sheeet

0:59 That is actually downtown Atlanta. On the left side you see the gray building for the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. On the day of shooting this scene during a break, Benedict Cumberbatch looked up at my wife (a Staff Attorney there) watching the filming in the other building for the Appeals court directly across the street and waved to her.
