I think they're tackling the wrong sort of scenarios. A lot of the recent ones have been scenarios which are more likely to be carried out online than in person whereas in a lot of their older scenarios, they tended to be things that could happen in person. I don't know whether it's to try and raise awareness of issues or just a lack of foresight on behalf of the producers.

I work retail. Most scams are aimed towards elders because they don’t know any better or refuse to listen to younger people. Lately especially the catfish/romance scam. This is a bit rhetorical/tongue in cheek/a joke and a bit not: Is it really a bad thing if millennials and gen z force a wealth transfer from the boomer generation? We keep telling them to not believe everything they read. They keep demonstrating, in large numbers, that they are incapable of that type of critical thinking…..to the point where they tried to stage a coup against the US because an orange weirdo said that mail in ballots couldn’t be trusted. Maybe getting scammed SHOULD be the consequence for not listening to the more information savvy younger generations. The demographics are clear. It is the same people that STILL believe the US election was stolen that consistently fall for these scams.

Exactly! My grandparents were so frugal but they had a TON of money on both sides. I remember my grandfather telling me "you want to make money while you sleep." And I guess that attitude passed down to my dad (RIP), because I remember going to his house one day and I had bought something I really liked, so I wanted to show it to him. So I said "Look at this!
Isn't it cute? It was on sale...I saved 50%!" My dad replied "Well, if you're spending, you're not saving." Obviously I had no retort, and that has always stuck with me.

Wwyd are not letting the scenarios play out like the use to, they cut the scenes too short so it takes away the fun. We don’t get a chance to watch people reactions and they are not realistic anymore. Too bad.

If that actually happened, that person is NOT obligated to pay you back. Sure, it would be nice if they did but they aren't obligated to pay you back, especially if you both are strangers.

I feel like Arianne is one of the few good actresses WWYD have kept. The new one's are just so unrealistic in their acting which makes this season worse (in my opinion).
