I don't mind baby crying and the mother trying to calm her but if the parents just leave the baby to cry for freaking 15 mins and do nothing about it i'm gonna be pretty pissed.
This is one of the few WWYDs where I can see the argument against the couple and their baby. If you can afford to eat at an upscale restaurant, you can afford a babysitter for a few hours. If I was there, I don't think I'd personally complain to the manager or anything like that, but if somebody else did I wouldn't blame them.
No. You are allowed to have a kid free life or your own. Not a kid free world. With the rate of people harrasing and hurting kids, ill be damned if i find a babysitter before my kid is old enough to tell me if something bad happens to then.
Not allowing babies in high-class restaurants doesn't sound as bad as it seems. It's not like the babies are gonna eat the food there, and if the parents can afford to eat there, they can afford a sitter. I mean what if there's parents there eating on their night out away from their kids and then they hear a baby crying? It's not a bad rule, people wanna enjoy their high-class meals
I sort of kinda agree. I don't mind that parents bring their babies but it is a little disrespectful at an upscale restaurant. A good rule of thumb would be if the dress code requires a jacket or if one can expect a bill above $200 for a party of two, seems like that kind of environment customers would not want to be disturbed. And there's plenty of other options for young parents; it's not like it's a city ordinance banning babies from ALL public eateries.
Yeah plus my parents never went out to dinner by themselves that very often when i was a kid in 90"s i wish they could have so it would be either my godfather who just passed away 6 months ago along with his wife or my uncle who passed away in 2019 or my grandparents with my aunt or my other aunt would either order food or go get dinner
Exactly I want children but if I was a mother I would try and at least try and calm the baby. I mean you have adult only hotels so yeah I dont think it's that bad banning a baby from a fancy restaurant either x
When my child was younger and he started to get fussy, we went out to the car until it stopped. A crying baby or screaming child is not ok it doesn't matter what kind of restaurant it is.
Thank you!! When my babies were little there were many times my husband and I took turns eating while one of us comforted the baby away from everyone else. It's just common decency. I was at Texas roadhouse last night and someone had a baby screaming for 20 plus minutes. I don't care if people bring babies, just get your lazy butt up and take them outside if they start crying!
I agree, i would take my crying baby outside, but not just as courtesy to the other people there, but also to tend to my baby's needs. It's certainly not okay to ignore your crying baby for 15 minutes without even trying to console them. They are crying for a reason, not just to get attention for the fun of it. If there was a baby crying in a restaurant i was in, i wouldn't be bothered by the fact that the baby was crying to have it's needs met, unless the parents weren't doing anything about it, parents needs to respond to their children's needs regardless of where they are. This video was actually very hard to watch as the parents didn't even try to comfort their crying baby.
So true. I have twins that are now 31. We never took them to fancier places or later At night when the expected time of a baby wouldn't be there. They were not fussy babies, rarely cried. I just did what was best for everyone, not just us.
The only reason it would irritate me is because they're literally doing nothing to comfort the baby. I don't mind the sound, I don't find a baby crying "annoying" it's sad. The baby needs something and that's how the baby let's you know something is up and people who straight up ignore their crying child strikes a nerve for that reason alone.
Even if you’re comforting the baby and it’s still crying I would want you to go outside bc I find crying babies or noise very grating. I am sensitive to sounds.
In a real scenario you try to comfort it and stop it crying but if that doesnt work after 5 mins of crying it's common sense to take the baby outside for a bit
I'm surprised at how many people were fine with the baby crying. I'm on the side that thinks it's rude to bring a baby that young to an expensive restaurant. But more importantly if a baby is crying for 15+ minutes and the parents aren't doing anything I'd assume there's some neglect going on
when you eat daily or weekly in restaurants like this, it becomes a habbit, so for most people its nothing special. Otherweise they would have said something.
i mean its not like i would enjoy a baby crying all time. But if its about to kick 2 people out becaus of baby and ruin their life atleast for that night. I would swallow the pain and be ok with that too.
That last guy sounds like he was in the mob lol. He looked him dead in the eye with the most serious face and said: "Tell her to drop dead.....with my compliments" 😂
I’m sorry but as a mother, when my baby cries in a restaurant or a diner or even in a fast food joint, I normally take her outside or calm her down ASAP. It is common courtesy. If she doesn’t calm down, I normally leave.
That’s the norm me too. These parents in staged setup looked extremely selfish to me like absolutely no regards to others but me me me thinking. I so dislike people like this. Some parents in the US are crazy to think it’s acceptable to leave screaming baby for 15 min. unattended.
I don’t have children but that is exactly what I would do. Beyond that, babies cry for a reason (hungry, tired, diaper change) if you just ignore your child, you aren’t being an attentive parent.
This one bothers me though. As a mom, i would feel bad for the diners if my baby cries continuously like that. What more the 'parents' put no effort in calming the baby.
Unpopular opinion, if I’m paying for a fancy restaurant dinner, I don’t want to hear someone’s baby crying all night. As a parent myself I wouldn’t have taken my baby on a night out.
It’s not unpopular. This show I usually like but this time really stupid. Most people I mean 90% of the time would never be ok with a screaming baby in an upscale restaurant. That’s why this is just a show, and even then some guys and a women were complaining. It’s extremely rare that people would be ok for their nights to be ruined. And I look at these parents as what they couldn’t even afford a baby sitter/nanny or care to wait until they can find one but selfishly they wanted to go out. Only happens in America too that a show tries to make it ok when it’s not. Ridiculous. This would never be ok anywhere. That’s why there actually are restaurants that do not welcome small children under certain age and there are adult only cruise ships even before pandemic (they’ve been around for a long time).
This scenario didn’t work, because they didn’t even try to comfort the baby. It would have worked better if they occasionally tried to comfort it but it kept crying
Nah, would've been better if the parents acted irritated by it, and ignored the crying. Slowly edging the pram away from their own table by a few inches. Comforting a crying baby is no scenario at all -- because it's common nature and completely expected behaviour. Ignoring or getting annoyed at your own crying baby is a decent social experiment, and would've yielded better results.
I disagree I have a baby sister that cries for hours and hours everywhere and I have to deal with it. So if you guys can’t stand one crying for 15 minutes you need to leave.
@@ilovelofe just because you have a baby sister that cries constantly doesn't mean everyone else has to bear that burden. No one should have to bear such a burden especially in a fancy restaurant just because these parents are too lazy to calm the baby. These entitled parents deserved to be kicked out. If you cannot control your baby's behavior or even tend to your crying baby, you don't deserve a night out let alone even be a parent.
i feel like its inappropriate that the parents just sit there and do nothing. i think the best thing to do is at least go outside to calm the baby down, instead of waiting for the baby to stop
You're damn lucky my wife and I weren't there. Parenting classes teach that you should NEVER let a child cry for more than 10 minutes without physically picking up the baby and checking their physical wellbeing. We would've called child protective services on parents more interested in wine and steak than checking their possibly sick infant.
Fine dining is an experience: the food, atmosphere and ambiance is worth the price. But ignoring a screaming infant for 15 minutes is plain disrespectful to other patrons.
Nothing horrible about it! You should have the right to enjoy the food YOU'RE paying for and the time in the restaurant. Bringing babies and young children to restaurants and simply allowing them to disrupt everyone else's dinners/lunches/whatevers (without making an effort to calm them down) is entitled and inconsiderate.
Manpreet Sidhu are you a virgin or did you ever have a baby because when you're broke like me and my family we can't afford that shit plus there isn't no problem with bringing your baby out if I even step in that restaurant and get food I'll be homeless
Genevieve Marie yes because a baby knows better and parents shouldn't come out until the kids are older? babies cry dumbass and parents are humans too, id a crying baby ruins the mood go somewhere else.
For most people it was "the night". Maybe an anniversary, maybe a first date, maybe a long waited night out after saving money for weeks. You can't get it ruined because of a baby crying. I can't imagine the frustration of seeing that occasion completely destroyed in front of your eyes. If you can afford that restaurant, you can afford a nanny. Call me whatever, but I'm with the chef. No kids in my night out.
They were waiting for someone to say something. If Traci had had a quiet word with the staff rather than going straight after the couple in an aggressive manner and playing heavily on being shock horror a single lady without a date at a nice place, they probably would have been glad someone had spoken up.
i went to see dont breathe and there was family sitting outside waiting , i thought maybe for a differnet one but no , they were next to me, who brings a baby to a horror/gore/A movie
If I'm in a restaurant and paying around $100 or more for a meal, then yes I would get very annoyed if the baby is crying for that long, and these parents were just sitting there ignoring their baby. I'm assuming the people eating in this restaurant were also compensated for their time as part of this experiment?
Nikol Ert true, but if the establishment doesn’t allow kids, don’t bring them. It’s that simple. I’m not going to go out of my way if the kid isn’t being annoying but parents should be turned away if there is a no child policy. It’s likely that some of the people there chose that place BECAUSE it was child free.
Add me to the "you shouldn't bring small children to an upscale restaurant" crowd. Even in a family restaurant, your children should keep the decibel level down. That is part of being a parent and being considerate of fellow diners. This goes for other public spaces such as movie theaters. We have two children and there have been times that we had to step out when our children were disruptive. We've canceled plans as well due to not having a sitter. It depends on the child as well. Our daughter is the mellowest kid you'll ever meet. She is six and she'd be just fine going to an upscale restaurant. She's more mature than most adults I know. Our son, on the other hand, is a hellion and I'd even worry about taking him to a Chuck-E-Cheese!
Tbh I don't get this logic I mean if the baby is not even bothering you then why do you even care? Like for me I don't like my parent's workplace music do I care no! Because I just distract myself with my phone anyways here!
@@MartialArtswithLucyLu It is bothering me, though. By making that horrible, high-pitched loud crying. And in this video, the "parents" of the "baby" do nothing to help. They said, "Oh he's probably just tired" but even then, babies don't cry like that and you can attempt to put your child asleep. And it's especially bothering to people who have sensory issues and even for those who don't, it's just very distracting, hard to listen to and you can't sit there for an hour or however long it take to eat out. Just because you have a baby doesn't mean you can't live your normal life, but no doubt, in many ways, your life will and has to change. For others, and honestly for yourself. It's selfish to allow your child to disrupt everyone else in the diner just because you refuse to help your baby by taking them outside for a second or quickly calming them down. If you can't afford a babysitter and nobody you know is willing to take care of them on that day, wait until another day that you can find a way to have your baby/young child somewhere else so you can have a fancy dinner date. And fancy dates at fancy diners where you pay a ton of money aren't all that anyway. You can have fun in other ways, like having a date in the comfort of your own house. But at the very least, if you're going to have a dinner date at a fancy restaurant, make sure your baby isn't crying constantly. Making nearly everyone else in the diner suffer just so you can go to some fancy diner and not attempt, at all, to make your baby not such a distraction isn't right. Plus, if you can afford to go to some fancy restaurant but can't afford to find a babysitter for a couple hours, you should maybe rethink your financial decision to go to that restaurant at all.
"she asked me to tell them to leave" "well tell her to drop dead, ok. with my compliments" -the most interesting man in the world (for real, this guy's a gentleman savage)
It’s disrespectful when your baby is crying disrupting peace for 15 minutes and you do nothing about it your not going to do .... ANYTHING ? Yes I’m going to be mad
Sky He I think it’s not bad and rude as long as the parents are trying to calm the baby dow while it’s crying. But if the parents don’t do anything about the baby, then I would be mad and consider it being kinda rude and disrespect to the baby and the people as the baby might either need something like a diaper change, or is hungry, in pain, or something else.
If it's a restaurant, then I don't mind. But sometimes when I'm watching a movie at the theaters those babies' crying really makes me upset, especiallyif the mother doesn't even do anything and just go "ssh ssshh". Like they're a baby and you expect them to understand you?
@@elijahtorres2688 Absolutely. If the parents actually do something about the baby's crying, like try to calm them down, occupy them, take them to a quiet place to calm down, then there;s nothing wrong! It's when they ignore the baby, do nothing and don't care about the other diners then there's something wrong.
To be honest, I side with upscale restaurants that ban very young kids. Non one wants to heard babies crying, children arguing and running all around the restaurant while they have paid for an expensive dinner. Or at the very least, have a separate section where families with children can eat.
“ She’s got a problem but it ain’t the baby.” “ she asked me to tell them to leave-“ “ Well tell her to drop dead.” *absolute silence* “... With my compliments.” okay this guy’s a legend lmfao
I'm a mom, and I totally think that babies and young kids don't belong in a fancy restaurant. The people eating there are not only paying for the food, but also for the atmosphere, and I'm sorry, but a baby does ruin it quite a lot. There are plenty of other restaurants/diners that would probably be a lot more accepting and accommodating of families with young kids, but fancy restaurants are not one of them.
+Kim Nunya I'm not a mom but I am a girl who has autism. I was a very quiet baby and young child so my mom and dad could bring me places and not worry about me crying, but if a baby is crying really loudly I will get very agitated and start to cry too. Not saying it's the kids fault, but I want to be able to enjoy my food and not have a meltdown.
It’s an unspoken rule that if your baby cries for more than five minutes that you need to get up and go outside with the child and calm them down. You chose to have a child, not the people next to you. So, yes it’s rude if you don’t.
Well I know what the unspoken rule is. I have 26 year old twins and I would NEVER let them cry in a restaurant! It is rude and the other customers don't want to listen to other people's children cry.
If I go to an upscale restaurant I expect a certain atmosphere of peace and quiet. I'm not alone. About 20 years ago in my city a couple was asked to leave an upscale restaurant because of their crying child. The mother complained to the local newspaper about it. Her letter prompted a flood of other letters--and 99% supported the restaurant.
What restaurant was it? I totally disagree with that statement here! If baby is not bothering you just enjoy your food and distract yourselves with something here!
For real tho, a nice restaurant like that is not a place for a crying baby. The chef doesn't deserve outrage for his tweet. If you can afford a nice place like that, you can afford a babysitter. I Would've respectfully went up to them and told them that.
It’s not just high end restaurants, I believe that if you’re in a public place and your baby is crying but you’re not doing anything to stop it, that’s just being an inconsiderate mother or father. If you ARE doing everything in your power to stop the baby from crying, then good job and people around should be sympathetic. If the baby doesn’t stop, I recommend leaving depending on the place you’re at.
They key word here is "public place". Just because you are somewhere where you are surrounded by other members of the public, does not mean you are in a "public place". A restaurant or store is considered _private property_ , and the owner(s) or manager(s) are well within their right to expel or bar any customer for any reason so long as it does not violate civil rights. Even public buildings (such as schools, libraries, etc.,) are owned and administrated by some type of government entity which exercises the same rights as owners of private property. The bottom line is that many people have an overdeveloped sense of entitlement and feel that they can do or say anything they wish, or act or behave however they wish in these types of settings.
@Rose Tico Enthusiast WRONG. Take a walk around your neighborhood some time. You'll probably see some stores have signs that say "We Reserve the Right to Refuse Service to Anyone". That's because they're private property and they have the right to ask anybody to leave if they want to. If you're asked by a store manager to leave and you refuse to do so, the police will show up. Try using that argument with them, try saying "hey it's public, I deserve to be here". Let me know how it goes. Or just go ask a lawyer if you don't believe me.

I'm a mom too but if someone brought their crying baby to a fancy restaurant I'd be aggravated by not the baby, but by the parent's inconsideration of other people
I hate people that bring babies, but I really hate people who tolerate the annoying and later demand those who are genuinely bothered to tolerate them.
ordonez MMKSKAB you say that like it constitutes an argument. It doesn't. I can only hope that my parents didn't bring me into an environment like that and let other people hear me cry for minutes on end.

XxGR3YW01FxX that literally made no coherent sense. It's not a matter of disposing of people. Should they get thrown out? No. But people have every right to give them dirty looks and speak up about it. It's no different from a baby crying in a movie theater. If you KNOW that your baby behaves like that, don't bring it into a five-star restaurant where people want to relax and have dinner. It's really that simple. The least they can do is take it in the bathroom and try to calm it down, rather than sit there and inconsiderately force everyone else to listen to that shit.

Same, it's super annoying to eat while hearing a baby cry non stop...especially when you pay a lot for the meal
I had a baby with colic, it happens at the same time daily which is why I didn’t take her to restaurants.
Well finding one you can trust is a problem.
Most people are hypocrites that’s all I can say. It’s wrong to bring a baby to that kind of restaurant cos baby cries is always bothering

Exactly 💯💯💯
It’s not bad at all. If you are paying a lot of money for a fancy restaurant, you shouldn’t have to put up with that.

Totally agree with Traci on this one. Don't bring a baby into an upscale restaurant. But if you do, take the baby outside if it starts crying.
I would have liked this comment, but it was on 69 likes so...
Eimear Hannan not anymore so you can like now
Even if you’re comforting the baby and it’s still crying I would want you to go outside bc I find crying babies or noise very grating. I am sensitive to sounds.
In a real scenario you try to comfort it and stop it crying but if that doesnt work after 5 mins of crying it's common sense to take the baby outside for a bit
This shows you never babysit a baby before. This is quite ignorant for u to say that.

They didn't show all reactions, but chose only few ones.
i mean its not like i would enjoy a baby crying all time. But if its about to kick 2 people out becaus of baby and ruin their life atleast for that night. I would swallow the pain and be ok with that too.

Some parents in the US are crazy to think it’s acceptable to leave screaming baby for 15 min. unattended.
Thank you, as annoying as it may be to have to get up and leave I can promise other diners appreciate it
As someone who hates kids, you're a blessing! There are few things I hate more then lazy parents that let there kids scream and cry in public!
I don’t have children but that is exactly what I would do. Beyond that, babies cry for a reason (hungry, tired, diaper change) if you just ignore your child, you aren’t being an attentive parent.
Good job if that's what you do!!!

It's not an unpopular opinion. Most people are just too scared to admit it.
I agree.
Me too. I dont hate babies but why cant u get a babysitter first if you can afford a date night in a fancy restaurant.

Maybe because it was a damn doll
Nah the baby needs to leave. Leave baby!! Get up and LEAVE!

Soy Sauce Father absolutely
Maria you where a baby no?
You're damn lucky my wife and I weren't there. Parenting classes teach that you should NEVER let a child cry for more than 10 minutes without physically picking up the baby and checking their physical wellbeing. We would've called child protective services on parents more interested in wine and steak than checking their possibly sick infant.
It wasn't a baby
Fine dining is an experience: the food, atmosphere and ambiance is worth the price. But ignoring a screaming infant for 15 minutes is plain disrespectful to other patrons.

Nothing horrible about it! You should have the right to enjoy the food YOU'RE paying for and the time in the restaurant. Bringing babies and young children to restaurants and simply allowing them to disrupt everyone else's dinners/lunches/whatevers (without making an effort to calm them down) is entitled and inconsiderate.

Hysterical!!
😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣 my 4 year old . He’s horrible in chucke cheese and that’s where he suppose to play but whewwwww , he be CHUCKY from the horror movie 😭
Especially movie theaters! We want to hear the movie, not the baby!

It’s an unspoken rule that if your baby cries for more than five minutes that you need to get up and go outside with the child and calm them down. You chose to have a child, not the people next to you. So, yes it’s rude if you don’t.
You are so right on this. It's not really an unspoken rule, but just common sense people should have.
Especially at an upscale restaurant where they are paying $$$ for a good meal and a nice night out.
I’m not sure you understand what an “unspoken rule” means.

If baby is not bothering you just enjoy your food and distract yourselves with something here!

people see Tracy on the show every day.
IKR traci is always the bad character it suits her
DOES ANYONE KNOW TRACI'S INSTA? ❤️🌹💯
For real tho, a nice restaurant like that is not a place for a crying baby. The chef doesn't deserve outrage for his tweet. If you can afford a nice place like that, you can afford a babysitter. I Would've respectfully went up to them and told them that.
Letting that infant crying forever is very rude behavior. Why does everyone try to justify this behavior.
"Why does everyone try to justify this behavior."
Because it is the politically correct thing to do.
No, whats rude is grown ass people acting like entitled children themselves.
Because they're insufferable bums.
Traci here is the one with the common sense than them all.
Ignoring their crying infant is ridiculous.
Jean Pérez agreed
Skye Jens I said: depending on the place your at...
Fuck being sympathetic just because babies cry doesn't mean everyone else should want to hear it
They key word here is "public place".

More annoying when those old farts prefer that constant crying than having Traci around them.

The issue is 15 minutes of crying with the parents seemingly ignoring the infant. I would, and have carried my child to the lobby after 5 minutes of not being able to calm my baby.
These are what you call "self absorbed jerks." And yes, I'm talking about the couple with the crying baby.
You were a baby once..
ordonez MMKSKAB you say that like it constitutes an argument. It doesn't. I can only hope that my parents didn't bring me into an environment like that and let other people hear me cry for minutes on end.
+Vincent T. Ummm...okay. *cough bullshit LMAO
+Vincent T. So one crybaby defending another. Not so impressive. Sorry for actually wanting some comfort of my own. Screw that fake baby, if it's disturbance just dispose of it and it's inconsiderate parents. I honestly don't care about their feelings.
This is so stupid! Of course people would be annoyed if this went on for more than a couple minutes... it’s COMMON courtesy... to help your child to stop CRYING!

No, it's common courtesy to know if your kid can make it through the restaurant for the evening or whether to leave with a babysitter. Too many folks in this fake, politically correct era don't get it.
babies cry thats what they do every on gets upset but its also courtsey to be nice and mind ur own fucking business
@@sammyflair1085 no. Either handle your kid during dinner or dont bring them. Know your child
@@sammyflair1085 how can u mind ur businesd when there is baby crying ruining ur night. This is a fancy restruant. Making a child is a choice, and if you make that choice you have to make certain sacrafices.
I haven’t even watched the video and I already agree with the chef lol, if you can afford a fancy restaurant, you can afford a babysitter
A fine dining restaurant is not a “family” restaurant. There are plenty of those. If you want a evening out, and can’t, or don’t want to get a sitter, don’t go to a fine dining restaurant.
I agree
Lisa CJ exactly. Like a baby cries at McDonald’s, ok. That’s ok. Annoying m but I understand. I mean my kids running around screaming so you are all good. But at a nice, suit+tie+dress place, no. NO
So it's okay for a baby to go to a family restaurant and cry but not to a fine dining? Lol!
Amit Chakraborty I mean, at a family restaurant, it’s fair game since..it’s a restaurant for families, so kids, toddlers and babies..
@@islandsunset Yes.
I'm with Tracy on this one. Either the parents are trying to calm the baby down, or they hire a babysitter for the night out.
Femke Feenstra same but the last guy was priceless😂😂😂😎

Yes
I disagree I have a baby sister that cries for hours and hours everywhere and I have to deal with it. So if you guys can’t stand one crying for 15 minutes you need to leave.
@@ilovelofe why bring the baby with you in the first place? Like, id you bring it to a place like McDonald's or something.... Well... Maybe...
But with fine dining? No f'ing way. What does a baby do in that restaurant? They can't enjoy the food, nor the place they're in because they're babies. You wouldn't bring dogs with you too, right?
This time for the first, I side with Traci!
Seriously, it's very entitled and ignorant to ignore your screaming kid and there needs making the diner feel uncomfortable and ruining the ambiance. I hate parents like them! You need to take responsibility and think about the surroundings.
I agree with Traci too
Iresponsible parents take their babies to restaurants where other people go there to have a quiet meal. If they can afford to go to a restaurant, they should be able to hire a babysitter.
You have no clue how expensive babysitting is. It isnt like the 1990's where you pay $5 an hour or $9 an hour for 2 kids.. Now you are paying kids a minimum of $16.75 an hour for 1 kid and $20 an hour for 2 kids. Its ridiculous what children are charging for babysitting. If your kid is a great kid (meaning sleeps alot) take them out. It isn't a big deal. My nephew was in his first bar at 3 weeks old. He slept through the partying. Mom got to socialize with friends and my brother got to drink with his frienda.
@@jessicaely2521 A close relative can babysit for free maybe. Also, your nephews parents are stupid and iresponsible. You dont party at a bar when you have a 3 week old baby to take care of. Either you grow up and stop partying while the baby is that young and wait until the baby is old enough for babysitting or dont have a baby at all. You dont bring a baby to a bar. What is the point having a baby if you want to be free from it just after 3 weeks and party instead? Answer: no point, end of story.

I take my 2.5 yr old out to 5 star restaurants in Switzerland. She is a perfect angel. The only time she gets to be a pain in the butt is when she tired. We dont go out when she's tired.
@@jessicaely2521No that maybe but dont let other people suffer on resturants because you want to go out with a baby that cries. Lucky for others that your children is quiet then. Others is not then stay home. Resturants is one thing but a pub is still wrong either relatives for babysitting or not.
@@rc-jatodaniel Sometimes babysitters cancel at last minute because emergencies can happen. Plus not everyone has family near them or know neighbors well enough to trust em. If you wanna eat out fancy if the restaurant has outside dinning you can eat outside with the baby or mom and dad take turns calming baby down.
Realistically though, if you want a nice night out... just get a babysitter, peace and quiet for yourselves and others around you.
Joel Carter Realistically everyone may not have a babysitter or trust ppl around their kids.
Sevin Miles North but they made the decision to have children. It's not my fault you don't have anyone to watch them. It goes both ways. 😊
I love that I live in an area that has real nice expensive restaurants and when a child is being disruption they tell the people to take the child out or leave. It's funny the only people who get mad about people bitching about being disturbed by a crying kid are usually the ones who shouldn't let their kids out in public. If I'm spending more than $20 on a meal I deserve to enjoy it because I hate other kids. Now if I'm going to Mc Donalds I would expect nothing less than hearing kids
Sevin Miles North than They could also go somewhere less fancy, or even to a park and have a nice picnic with thier baby.
Sevin Miles North go to a park, don't ruin other's time. A crying baby is an ache to the ear. Nothing adorable Abt it.
Why is Traci always the mean one? 😂

That’s what I said lmao
She is right though. The baby's screaming is REALLY annoying, & people just ignoring it like it's normal. The parents might be used to hearing their baby scream & make noise at home all the time, but it's different in a restaurant. It shouldn't matter whether it's high end or not; it's a public environment, & it's not fair to everyone else

i actually completely agree with that chef saying high end restaurants should not allow babies. babies make noise and noise is a nuisance. it's not about loving or hating babies, it's about paying good money to treat yourself to go to a place with a relaxing and enjoyable environment and there's nothing enjoyable nor relaxing about listening to a baby crying. a couple who have a baby are of course welcome at a stylish restaurant but it's normal to expect them to plan ahead and arrange for the baby to not be with them if they want to enjoy that kind of atmosphere. if you have a noisemaker with you then apparently you don't care about the relaxing atmosphere anyway so you might as well just go to mcdonalds or smth. no one goes to a nice restaurant expecting loud persistent noise. no one.
