The E-Tour du Mont-Blanc 2022 I Highlights

On the race side, the level of competition was unquestionably matched by the quality of the terrain. The 2022 E-Tour du Mont-Blanc, contested by teams of two over 180 gruelling kilometres and more than 11,000m of climbing, was won by Frenchmen Jérôme Gilloux and Théo Charmes (the Swiss pair Florian Golay and Olivier Grossrieder finished in fourth place!), while Swiss rider Nathalie Schneitter and her French teammate Laura Charles dominated the women's race.
Following the E-Tour du Mont-Blanc, Gilloux, the reigning UCI eMTB World Champion, is crowned the winner of the 2022 E-Bike World Tour, while Schneitter, the 2019 UCI eMTB World Champion, takes her first EBWT 2022 victory.

I was one of the mechanics in the 2022 edition.
I was able to shake hands with two athletes I have always admired, Jose Ermida and Ralph Naf.
The interviewer was an explosion of happiness, even when I asked her to get a tattoo that reminded me of Italy! :-)
