We all voted “a little bit of everything” because it’s closest to “whatever you enjoy making.” As long as you are having fun and excited about your projects we will happily watch them. (That’s why I voted that way at least, I suppose I shouldn’t speak on behalf of everyone else) Thanks for yet another great video!!
Cat's kibble is beads! I should've known that. : ) I like how you use your hot glue gun to bore holes into the plastic. Intenso! This build came out great, I really like the green patina on the metal. Very cool.
Absolutely love this Bill. Your whimsical editing style is so good lol. Great build and awesome vid man, looking forward to seeing the town further come to life!
Excellent as usual! You knowww I liked the bricks sequence. Hashtag RESPECT. (Because I know the way you animate using live-action footage... chopping through that mess is even more tedious than the other way. :) ) 23:40: Uncle Bill getting real over here. Hashtag RESPECT.
"42" Congratulations Bill & Cat Making Stuff on achieving your Douglas Adams status. This episode is now part of the secret to life, the universe and everything.
The Bill Making Stuff aesthetic, both the models and presentation, are wonderful. 13:38 The first rule of Survey Club is, "Never offer an "All Of The Above" option." The Billville Post Office is very cool.
I'm so glad I found your channel! It's actual insanity that I haven't before. Especially when I really enjoy Studson and Bolei. Thank you for sharing your art. I'm going back to binging now.
Scratchbuilding is of course a major skill and I know it's taken years of honing, but it still looks like absolutely-for-real magic to me when you pick something up I've been seeing every day of my life....and suddenly it's a door!! Suddenly it's cool guns and barbed wire and monster eyes! I'm slowing working my way through your videos - I started all the way back there at Episode 1 - and I love your sense of humour and your unmatched skill at making the coolest rusty things from junk and bits and bobs. (Also! I am making sandstone bricks today so this was especially helpful!)
I love this editing style it is so unique and I haven't really seen any other channels edit like this, especially with all the time and care that is put into these videos.
Love this one, the brick dome especially. Reminds me of igloos, which always seem like really elegant structures. Here’s to more flock than One Man and his Dog (or Cat in this instance).
I've been trying to make bricks out of EVA foam... it's meant to be XPS foam. No wonder my results have been the drizzling jobbies. I swear I learn something new from every one of your videos.
Always fun watching your videos. I see what you make with random crap and I think, “oh, I can do that.” I’m just lacking little things like imagination and talent.
This is amazing. So much bricks! lol. But for future reference, it might mix it up a bit and make it a little more realistic but helicopter blades aren’t metal and would have heavily deteriorated the composite. Idk I’m thinking a different color maybe, some way to show some sort of delamination somehow…breakdown in the layers. (That said, the leading edge of them is typically made of a durable metal meant to resist abrasion and erosion) I’m sorry for being a helicopter mechanic. Great build though!
I rewatch Bill’s videos a lot because I love the editing and of course the subject matter; I can’t begin to imagine the patience he must have to stop motion so much of his builds. The brick laying is mind blowing 🤯
That bit with the old Christmas lights could be a generator connected to the windmill. Maybe it generates electricity for some kind of futuristic postal service.
It took me a while to recognize Bill's work without the beads. In his studio there is an action figure from Visionaries Knights of the Magical Light, such a rarity.
So there is a nice system I've seen for painting corroded metal, start by mixing your metallic paint with a brown, then give it a heavy dry brush of the metallic paint followed by a dark wash, then paint of your paint colors from there with whatever chipping or sponging method you prefer and then finish up with all the extra weathering layers. While I have only seen this done with red brown iron, I would think it would work as well with a brass or copper paint mixed with an appropriate blue green.
Bill I like that you are sanding some of those plastic bits before primer or paint. Paint has a very hard time sticking to certain types of plastic. Too many crafters just use modpodge like it's a super primer. And it isn't. Great build, as usual. Love the channel.
Would love to see a series similar to Caleb’s Wild Sci-fi West, I was just thinking he doesn’t upload fast enough so the more the merrier 👍 can’t wait to see what you come up with
Bill, "Zoe the Robot" thinks that when you get your miniature town built, you should set it all up, add some colored lighting, and tour the town with a miniature camera, making a "Bill Making stuff" documentary. Add in some of your 28mm guys and some stop motion, and it would look really cool.
After about a year I finally have internet again (been surviving on mobile data) and I can now fully apretiate the quality of your videos! Im finally living in the future!
Can't wait to see a whole town. I've been mad-maxing up cars with my 18yo son and we want to start on terrain. I dug out a pattern cutter from my sewing box and meant to mention it for rivets but someone beat me to it. You can do it on plasticard to and show the 'bumps' side too. Love all your content Bill, and the fact that something is reflecting on your hair in this one and giving you purple highlights 💜 😂
I love the world you're building with the lore, characters and buildings. Not my usual cup of tea but you're making me so invested in the beadbot universe! You've also introduced me to Garlands which looks awesome. I've not done anything miniature related in over a decade (Middle Earth WH), but I recently picked up some supplies and hot wheels cars while starting a junk pile!
I love this, you can see so much history and story in all the little details 😍 I can’t wait to see what else turns up in your town 😄 also if you want cheap paint to be more opaque you can add a little corn flour
I think "a little bit of everything" is what keeps a channel interesting. I caught myself skipping over videos of channels I once binged because it's "just the same thing in a different color". Also great build! I really enjoy the trash builds because they are examples of fairly cheap crafting (i.e. I live in central Europe and and I have no idea where to grab XPS or EVA foam but so many American builders use it almost exclusively) and you are a master of just eyeballing everything (textures, composition, etc.) which I also enjoy very much. I need the preplanning and the precision for my day job, so eyeballing my crafts feels very relaxing I would love a basing video as well :)
Talking about Miyazaki references, Future Boy Conan has some cool things, like the spaceship house in which Conan lives at the beginning of the series.
This post office is great and I love how you made the communications tower. I watching the videos in a random order, so I've seen a lot of the other buildings already. If I can belatedly vote, I would vote for more buildings/terrain.
I believe people just want to see what YOU Feel like making, so a little bit of everything, but everything is all Bill Making Stuff. Keep doing you bill, can’t wait to see what new stuff you make 👍
Boylei's wild west town are some of mmy very fave UA-cam vids, really looking forward to see your town grow bill, very different universe from his. Can i suggest when you show the results at the end you dot in some of your bead bots or your scavenger band for scale. Awesome as always, and as a past english model builder its slways interesting to see what tut others collect from the pound shop for their builds. Keep up the good work
Bill! Thanks to you and Studson Studio, I've become addicted to miniature building videos. Thanks. Also, I think you should provide voiceover work for the next Portal game. The one that will NEVER happen. Thanks Valve.
Having a short conversation with the cat hehehe. Thanks for this Sir Bill, this is perfect for my reference that I'm looking for bricks and tower specially the way you color rustic.
I would very much appreciate an episode all about flocking (not sure if I'm spelling that correctly). I've only just discovered that name and I am fascinated by how much texture and detail it brings to a build and I would love to see more about it! Laputa Castle In The Sky is my favorite Ghibli film followed very closely by Nausicaa Of The Valley Of The Wind so I definitely love the little post office you've built here!
Excellent build Bill! The bricks turned out super cool, though I did cry a little when you covered up so many of them with the corrugated 'repair' panels. All that hard work never to be seen again. 😭 Would really like.to see more of these type of videos, I am a big fan of Caleb's "Wild Imaginary West" builds. Seems like monsters, robots, and vehicles are your most popular videos and those are definitely what I'm looking for. Like many people, I'm not here to learn how to craft, I just enjoy the process, creativity, and editing. Plus, I guess you're kinda funny... not as funny as your cat, but still pretty funny
Excellent build - love the brick montage. Yeah, I have a few of those material marker wheel things for rivets - I file some of the teeth off for a variety of different spaces. Hi Studson! 👋
Very nice build! I’m excited for this new town series. Thanks for the shoutout as well.
Boylei ~ I just watched all your "town series" two days ago.
Fucking glorious! ✨
Amazing project, very well done. Thank you.

Mmm yes 2 people who i copy the ideas of

Thanks mate!
You really are developing as an artist Bill! Well done with this one. Thanks for the shout-out!
I need a stinky sewer build!!! Extra stinky!!! Bound to be a few stinky sewer golems made entirely of hot melt and stuff discarded down the drains.
Excellent as usual! You knowww I liked the bricks sequence. Hashtag RESPECT.
(Because I know the way you animate using live-action footage... chopping through that mess is even more tedious than the other way. :) )
23:40: Uncle Bill getting real over here. Hashtag RESPECT.
It is more tedious right? I've always thought so.
@@BillMakingStuff : I've done it in a pinch but I wince at the thought of having to animate ONLY via chopping up live-action footage. :)
"42" Congratulations Bill & Cat Making Stuff on achieving your Douglas Adams status. This episode is now part of the secret to life, the universe and everything.
Oh, good show, I missed that!
The Bill Making Stuff aesthetic, both the models and presentation, are wonderful.
13:38 The first rule of Survey Club is, "Never offer an "All Of The Above" option."
The Billville Post Office is very cool.
second rule is "dont let the answerers choose their own option" after Taylor Swift was voted to visit a school for the deaf lol
Martina from the Nerdforge must have felt a disturbance in the force when you started making those bricks.
I'm so glad I found your channel! It's actual insanity that I haven't before. Especially when I really enjoy Studson and Bolei. Thank you for sharing your art. I'm going back to binging now.
Not enough people mention how much care you put into the sound design of your videos!

Yes, always a bit of greenery.
I love this editing style it is so unique and I haven't really seen any other channels edit like this, especially with all the time and care that is put into these videos.
Buy staples. Run through stapler. Then you have a cheap ladder.

No matter how many times it happens the gunshot sound when you cut something and it flies off just gets me, I love it sm
Always fun watching your videos. I see what you make with random crap and I think, “oh, I can do that.” I’m just lacking little things like imagination and talent.
I think it's time for "grocery" or general store with odd things for sale and weird shopping buggies. maybe a little kiddie ride out front
This is amazing. So much bricks! lol. But for future reference, it might mix it up a bit and make it a little more realistic but helicopter blades aren’t metal and would have heavily deteriorated the composite. It'll be so much fun watching this little city expand, I can't wait to see how it develops. Thanks for another awesome video!
Conduit tube is often call wire loom where I live, in case anyone has trouble finding it.
That dog tag door is so clever Bill! Love your Nausicaa aesthetic.
Cat Town is going to be great can't wait to see how you help Cat pull off another great "Cat Making Stuff" Video! 🐱🦁🐯⚒🔩🔧🪛🪚
I rewatch Bill’s videos a lot because I love the editing and of course the subject matter; I can’t begin to imagine the patience he must have to stop motion so much of his builds. The brick laying is mind blowing 🤯
Build what makes you happy Bill. I think we're happy to see you build anything really.
I would play Stargrave or Planet 28 with you,Bill!
Can't wait to see more of this town, it looks like it has some history!
If I could like this twice, I would! You’re editing really stands out from other model-building UA-camrs. So much personality!
That bit with the old Christmas lights could be a generator connected to the windmill. Maybe it generates electricity for some kind of futuristic postal service.
Love the helicopter/windmill, and bricks might be your new rivets as far as xylophone montage sections go. 10/10, would recommend 👍
What the heck how was this comment made 15 hours when the video come out ten minutes ago????
@@Shep-1701 it’s out early for patrons as an unlisted video before it goes live
@@Shep-1701 yeah patrons get early access, updates, community goodies etc. All from as little as 2 of your British Pounds, well worth it.

It took me a while to recognize Bill's work without the beads. In his studio there is an action figure from Visionaries Knights of the Magical Light, such a rarity.
I’m here from Boylei and Gameyy Builds latest video - I’ve been a sub of yours for a bit, but had to track this vid down ! ❤
I vote (I mean if we get one) for Billville! 🌟
I hit the bell, Bill. I smashed that thing
The tool you used to make rivets is for marking stitches. Generally used in leatherwork, to lay out where you want to the holes to be punched.
I actually found you through Boylei Hobby Time so seeing you reference him is like watching a cameo between your favourite superhero’s.

Wow ur such a creative. The edits, the lighting, the transitions, the stop motion, the modelling itself, the jokes, the multimedia approach

The answer to EVERYTHING! Without watching: Must be a good episode.
Yes please make a town!!!!! This first building is so cool!
the editing has always been fun, but feels like you really enjoyed yourself editing this one and it's super fun. really enjoyable
It's nice to watch a fellow imperfectionist, and Post apocalyptic-Laputa-Nausicaä is my favourite style! 😍

This has to be one of my favorites!
Love your humor! Love the build!
When you say that it’s a detail that no one will notice, that is true, no one will notice the detail, BUT, they will notice if it isn’t there
Will love to see future builds in this same Post-A town.
Bricks and rivets, the perfect build!
You should try building stuff for really small scales 6-10mm

the windmill was such a creative repurpose! jolly good job
I'm with you Bill! I really enjoy laying bricks, I go into a weird 'zen' mode & lose hours! Nice build!
The windmill is brilliant.

Excellent build - love the brick montage. Yeah, I have a few of those material marker wheel things for rivets - I file some of the teeth off for a variety of different spaces. Have you used PVA glue for rivets? Just dab spots of glue with a needle - it works surprisingly well. Sometimes you need 2 coats but it’s a good look.

yeah I realised this after I did it.

Excelente video, como siempre. Me gustaron los ladrillos y el uso que le diste al helicóptero. 10/10
