Probably should have just waited for some help for the bigger one, but I am a bit bull headed sometime. Almost forgot about getting up there haha. But no, the whole floor will be solid and the stairs will have a little flip to them. Should be able to give a better visual on what is going to go one once the floor is there.
Excellent it’s all coming together really well! Remember that Joe who didn’t like heights? Now he is climbing a ladder hoisting a great lump of wood all alone without a care in the world!
Fantastic job Joe, even if getting the first beam was a tad sketchy, I thought it was really going to go at one point but pleased it didn’t as that just might have been messy. Great to see the LS Defender if only for a few seconds, can’t wait to see that project back up and running. Keep up the great work, look forward to the next workshop update. 👍😎
I learned I should I should clear the floor of trip hazards if lifting things overhead haha. Good news is the LS Defender should be rolling down the hill to the new shop soon.
@@LostCauseRanch That’s amazing news as it will be fantastic to see you back on this project. Looking forward to see what you do with her. Keep up the great work 👍😎
The goon had an easier day than you! The workshop continues to progress nicely. I can't wait till the car lift goes in Joe. That will help with projects between shop builds.
Yes, the goon is enjoying the sun being back out that is for sure. Hoping to move some of the projects in next week and finally start the shops intended use. Up fitting it along the way.
I assure you I knew exactly what I was doing. (Maybe not) haha. I suppose I should probably make sure the floor is clear while moving around with heavy things.
I thought I'd fall off the couch watching you lift that huge beam! 😮
Good job! I wonder what method you chose to get up there. 🤔

Funny how things work out isn’t it? Can’t say that I’m still not a bit terrified of being above my own height though haha. But we are getting past it.
It’s amazing what one person can accomplish ! Your going to end up with a great space . 👍🏽😎

Your gaining and work from there will be cool to see, Plus as you do start working from there you will start to see what you need to do and or change.
One piece at a time.
And yea I am sure my workflow layout will be changing for quite some time until I’m all settled.

Nice work! Imagine the whole shop being a mezzanine!
If it wouldn’t mess up the head room on the shop that extra square footage would sure be nice.
Tell us about the 951 lurking to the side.....
I like that little thing. 86, little bigger turbo. I built a new tubular manifold for it as well. Broadfoot flares on some 17x9.5 17x11 CCWs.
@@LostCauseRanch very cool. I sold mine about a year ago. LS swapped it after the original engine blew.
Oh jeez Joe, please don't put us through that again. I was watching through a gap in my fingers.....you only JUST saved that.
