Bad ass!!! I love watching these videos. Because of videos like this, during COVID I built a 30x40x13 building and started to insulate it and put a 2 ton mini split. These videos are everything.
These vids inspire me to work hard at everything I do so that once I’m working full time I can hopefully someday build my own shop house! Great work man I love watching these and love seeing the progress
This is the first time we've watched your channel. EXCELLENT! We have watched Red Poppy Ranch since the beginning and enjoy both your channel as well as theirs. We wish you well.
I am not sure why but I haven’t been notified, even though I have my bell on 🤷♀️ Saw you on Red Poppy Ranch helping Heath so I went looking. Glad I did 👍❤️
I think it looks awesome dude, if you make a fake rail cap all the way around the new deck, and the existing rail that goes to the bedroom. Would really tie in the existing look at the house, great job it looks awesome. God bless
Great work to use that space. One idea I am going to incorporate into my building is an elevator using an electric wench. Will be handy for lifting heavier and/or bulky things up to that level. There are several videos on YT for how to build them etc. I little bit late for you, but you could still do some modifications for it.
Quick question….. how is the 2x12 that’s on the front running horizontal that is resting on the 6x6 post secured to the post.? How did you mount it to the post.? Thanks for any help with this. Thank you.
Just binged through a bunch of your build videos. Living the dream there man!! I might have missed it, but did you run electrical out into that half wall? I have an idea for something similar to make that space my home office. Keep up the awesome channel!
A good way to take advantage of space that wouldn't get utilized normally. I like the half walls versus having a railing system. One thing I was wondering is if you placed enough electrical outlets on half walls? I thought I saw only two. Is there a reason you didn't recess the lights on the bottom side of Loft? Do you have any RGB smart lights in your future plans?
Thank you! There are 3 outlets on the half walls and 1 for a tv! Those lights are a really good price and are really bright so just decided to go with the surface mount. RGB lights would be cool!
Great job. I’m thinking of doing something similar and have a. quick question. Did you need to have a footing under your posts or is it sufficient to merely attach them to the slab? How thick is your slab?
"Big thanks to BRUNT for sending me this gear and supporting the channel! Here's the site if you want to check them out! bruntworkwear.com/Create208
The loft would make a great dining room space for big family get togethers like Christmas or Thanksgiving dinner.
Loft looks great! Can’t wait for part 2 and see what you’re doing with the additional space.
Thank you! Coming soon!
What was the cost of the whole project? Love the layout.
I probably would have use hangers on both sides of the joists unless you're going through the fascia board.
It look absolutely amazing.
epic! the lights make it!

Papa Poppy brought me over ❤
I like it!
Been wanting to do just a wood loft in the garage. But the drywall makes a huge difference
Looks great!
Looking good.
Great idea!
wondered when you were going to do this

Thanks! I looked into that and it’s still possible if I want to do it in the future! Good idea.
I’m in the process of doing the same thing! Looks really nice!

Enjoying your channel!! Been watching Red Poppy for a few months now. 😊you are way more organized than your FIL 😅
Haha thank you!
Nice job
I like it
Looks great you really seem to know exactly what your doing here do you have background in any other types of building ?
I just subscribed. Your dad sent me over (Red Poppy Ranch ).
looking good
Thanks 👍
What if you're on a post-tensioned slab, and you can't drill into it? What options are there for affixing the posts to the floor?
Just binged through a bunch of your build videos. Living the dream there man!! I might have missed it, but did you run electrical out into that half wall? I have an idea for something similar to make that space my home office. Keep up the awesome channel!
I would have opted for spindles instead of drywall; makes it feel a lot less closed off
When are you posting part 2
great video. what would you estimate this to have cost you in materials?
🔥🔥👌🏽

Don't you hate it when those damn Tapcons break.. lol
I was waiting for this….I thought, “You could totally put a loft up there”
Hows the odor control on those boots? Does it stay inside for the most part?
Great
How was the permitting process?
Do Yo have a link for the concrete brackets?
Great job. I’m thinking of doing something similar and have a. quick question. Did you need to have a footing under your posts or is it sufficient to merely attach them to the slab? How thick is your slab?
No I didn’t have a footing for this but the concrete is 5 1/2-6” in the shop. Should be fine!
💪💪💪💪
How much did you spend on materials?
Was wondering what is the height underneath
? Is there enough room for a motorcycle lift still?
About 9’6”. I bet a motorcycle lift would work!
@@Create208 that’s what I was thinking as I’m checking out your bike , lol
How much does something like this cost
Very Good!... #64 ✝ {3-31-2023}

I absolutely hate painting and spackling I would of just threw up some 8 inch knotty pine.
Did you get the idea from your father in law?
You should teach your father in law how to sheet a sub floor properly.
If you wanted to could you go as high as what your car lift is? Please comment back and let me know thank you
Yes I can!
@@Create208 What is the oversized height of this laugh please comment back thank you
Would love to know what are the heights of your building? Please comment back@@Create208
Looks great!
