nice hard drive solution! i was having the same shaking issue and took your advice and resolved it using the app (which is way easier to use than the display on the moza). thanks!

Thanks for your videos on the Moza Air 2. With just bmpcc4k in a small rig cage, I need to select 'light' in order for vibration to stop. Cheers

If you're referring to the power cable, here's my Amazon link for it: amzn.to/2WEorpD

You're right, you have to invest the time to get to know the gimbal and how to adjust your settings. I had the same vibration problem and didn't realize it was I had too light of a payload instead of the opposite.

I see that you have a Rode VideoMicro. How is that working out for you? Do you get enough gain out of it without preamp? Is this audio from the VideoMicro?

It works surprisingly well, actually. I use it with the iPhone and BMPCC4K when I need a quick setup that doesn't require phantom power. Never had any problems with gain, though with iPhone you have to use the adapter for the lightening cable.

Maybe your unit is good. But there are plenty of others that are having a lot of issues. Not to mention Gudsen as a company. An absolute joke.
Got a defective unit. I also did not get the wireless hand unit and the appropriate focus motor. Which was the package I ordered. Have mentioned this to the company. They just ignore it.
All they want is video proof and stuff. Which they have gotten. Still, they keep ignoring me. As well as others. Hands down the worst company I have ever dealt with.
I do not know if you are getting paid by them. Or if you are just genuinely that happy with them. Either way, I'm glad someone has had a good experience with this company.
Your videos were what sold me on the Moza Air 2. Too bad it did not live up to the expectations. Everyone can have a QC issue. But the way they have handled it is mind boggling.
I have had to escalate to a payment claim with paypal.

I feel for you. I'm not paid by them in any way. I've read accounts of nearly every manufacturer in this arena having some QC problems, which makes sense as not everyone makes each part from scratch, but sources out. Companies, however, need to keep the customer relationship strong. When I beat a product under heavy, heavy and frequent usage and it comes through for me, I let the world know about it. That was the Moza Air 2. As I've posted in other comments on this channel, I did have a problem with it not working fully nearly a year into the warranty (again, I put it through a lot of work in harsh conditions that a lot of people wouldn't do). Mine was one of the first models produced. Yes, it was hard to get a hold of Moza for a return, but I found that reaching out through their email and their Facebook messenger (which worked best) I was able to get a response and a return number for my stabilizer to get fixed (after going through all the troubleshooting). They definitely didn't have English as a first language, and I think this certainly was a problem with their help, but I did get the return number and was about to send it back for repair (to Hong Kong) when all the protests against the govt. there became full blown. I could get no reassurances from them or the postal service that my package would through during that time. I was told that there was the chance of it getting lost, stolen, or damaged because of what was happening there. So, I decided not to send. I instead got the Moza Aircross 2 as I needed it for a shoot, and I haven't looked back. It is a steady, sturdy and dependable stabilizer. I like this one in that it is a bit smaller, but can still carry a 7lb load. My streamlining with filming made it so I didn't need the extra power of the Air 2. It sits on my desk, however, waiting for me to get it back to operating status. Sorry you're going through this at this time. It seems this year has challenged everyone-customers and companies alike.
