Great Video! seems to be you nailed it down, by finding all the culprits . Hats off! Could you please put where to buy the Ultrafire 18650 Batteries that works flawless for the Moza Air 2 , and the Charger. The vendors original Battery & charger sucks! and it is a lot of Pain. Thanks for making this video. 👍👍
It depends on where you stay, they come from China, and I checked, no longer available here in India. You’ll have to experiment and get a few from Amazon, return the ones that don’t fit. Make sure that they are over 5000maH with buttons on one side, and that should work fine.
My moza air 2 doesnt seem to have enough strength to do a full 360 on inception mode and allows gravity to keep it from going full circle. Any recommendations?
Hi, I have a question. I had a same problem and gotta buy new 18650 battery. But, over 5000 mah battery is too expensive so I'm thinking of 2000 mah one. Do you think I can buy like 8 pieces of it so I can replace anytime when I do filming? Wonder if it's that different between 2000 mah and 6000 mah. (Batteries are from Ultrafire and I checked it looks same as battery in your video)
I had limited success with 2000mah. Frequent disconnects. Eventually bought the more expensive ones. You can try it, make sure you can return it if they don’t work. So you don’t loose your money. All the best.
very good professional video. I have a different problem with my Moza Air 2 : The original batteries sometimes work, sometimes not. With a powersupply it goes into sleep mode and i have to hold the power on button all the time. I bought new Batteries, will try them tomorrow ... MOZA support is the worst..... theoretically a good gimbal but tooooo many problems and no support. For me never again Moza!
Yes. Sounds like a battery issue. Let me know how it goes with the new batteries. If that doesn’t fix it, then it’s most probably the cable pinch issue. Moza support is useless.
@@DrRave the new batteries don't work at all. I ordered a new charger that shows all the data of each battery. As far as I know there are no batteries with more than 3600 mAh. Every batterie with more advertised is fake as far as I know. I found another problem with my Mona Air 2: when I put in the batteries sometimes they slide out of the right position and have no contact at all. The best result is when I don't use the cover and hold the batteries firm with my hand.....
In my case I went from 2100mAh to 5000 plus. No experience with the 3600 ones. I’m my mind it should work. Did you check the cable pinch? I never measured the 6000 ones, but I know others have had a tough time finding them. They come from China. I ordered several batteries and returned the ones that didn’t work. Maybe order some more from Amazon, and hope for the best.
My MOZA AIRCROSS S wont start, i have not been using it a month, but yesterday when i try to turn it on, it wont start. I was thinking maybe the battery low, when i started to charge, i noticed the indicator blink And yes it's not normal. Does anyone have this issue before??
@@DrRave but indicator blinked. It wont charge the battery. Usualy the indicator did not blinked like dat. Normally just red, till it full. I have try to leave it for like 2-3hours, but still it wont turn on.
Unfortunately my Moza Air 2 died on me. I tried everything. USB connection says unrecognized device, not even the red light in the handle is blinking. External power does nothing. Now its just an expensive metal waste.
Did you try to replace the batteries, maybe borrow from someone before buying new ones? My Moza didn't turn on either until I replaced the batteries and fixed the cable issue. External power did not work for me either.
@@pravinp7560 You are correct. It is no longer available on Amazon. I could not find any brand over 2100maH. Try some other sites, look for any 18650 above 5000maH. All the best.
@@MonaWonderlick Yes, getting the right size is an issue. I recommend using Amazon and ordering a few different ones with buttons, 5000maH or higher and see which fits best. Return the rest.
6000-8000mah are Fake ! The best real is 2500-3000 Samsung. One important trick^ use only Power Tool batt -for high current output (motors) and not a Low current Notebook batt !!!
Unfortunately, Power tools are not available here. Regarding fake or real, I checked the 6000mAh - it was 5000mAh, which is why the moza has been working well since.
This is amazing. You dared to open up such a complex system.
My Motto: If you want to fix something, you have to open it 😋
Great work around! Thanks for the shout out!
Anything to get it to work, right. I still love this gimbal.
Amazing Video! Many Thanks for sharing this information for all the frustrated MOZA owners out there. Detailed, actionable info.
Glad to be of service. Thank you for leaving a comment. I appreciate it.
Dam I had the exact same experience! All reviews talking wonders, but mine was bad. Glad to hear I am not crazy.
Haha. No you’re not crazy, join the gang 👍🏽
thank you so much, after fixing the cable issue it solved the problem
That’s awesome. I’m glad it worked out for you. 👍🏽

@@DrRave Thank you for the response, I found it from ebay the same red - it is a great help. Thanks for making the video again.
That’s awesome. I’m glad you found it and it worked out. Now go shoot some amazing stuff 😉
I can buy some 18650 buttons with 3,400mah from a local battery store today…do you think it will work?
You’ll have to try. Make sure you can return them if they don’t. I’ve had success with 5000mah and higher only.
Thank you for this video👍
My pleasure 😊
Im glad i saw this video just got me one and if i run into an issue like this, ill know what to do
I Hope you don't run into any issues 🙂
I really hope that this solves my problems. I'm gonna get this screw driver and try it
Try it and let others know your experience 👍🏽
Well done.
Thank you Craig. 🙏🏽
Moza aircross 2 err 8001 problem , please give the solution
Sorry, I don’t have that model. Check online for the error or contact Moza.
You are a godsend
Haha you’re welcome 😇

What battery are you using? How many maH is each battery?
Mine turns on but goes into sleep mode every time i try to use it. What should i do?
Make sure the Pan is not locked and gimbal is balanced properly. Usually it’s one of the other.

Most probably out of stock again. Just search for 18650 batteries over 5000mah with button. Make sure you can return them if they don’t fit.

Can you test the batteries with a multimeter? Maybe that will narrow down the issue.
