Mystery Solved! BMW Airhead Misfiring, Sputtering, Stalling

In this episode we retrofitted mechanical ignition system which solved the misfiring issues proving EnDuraLast was malfunctioning. Hope you will enjoy it.

Have watched a lot of your videos and found them to be excellent! I was wondering if you are planning on doing one that covers balancing the bing carbs, this is a very confusing procedure and the methods differ and can be hard to follow. Thank's so much for your assistance to the airhead community.

Hello! What type of balancing you would be interested to see? I typically use Grok’s harmonizer but any quality vacuum balancer can be used as well. Also there are some home made manometers that do the same. Important thing when using vacuum balancer is that you have good vacuum, otherwise you won’t be able to balance carbs properly. If you are more interested in balancing by using shortening pins, here is great video from Matt Parkhouse:
