Really enjoyed this video. I will be camping at Nether Wasdale for a week towards the end of August 2018. Any tips on walks/places to visit would be much appreciated. ATB Paul.
Hi - Glad you enjoyed the video. Your best bet is to google for walks in Wasdale. On my recent visit I made several UA-cam videos of walks in the surrounding area which may be of interest. If you like mountain walking then Scafell Pike, Great Gable and Pillar are popular ascents. Have a good upcoming holiday, Cheers

Do you have a map with this exact path on please? Im a bit reluctant to do the circular and walk along the scree. Bit worried it may be too slippery or a thin path, so opting for your walk instead.
Hi Lisa The grid reference of the car park is SD129038. From here cross the Forest Bridge and then take the track to Easthwaite farm. Take the footpath towards Wast Water lake and go around the forest footpath on the edge of the lake to the road, passing Wasdale Hall. Return to the car park along the lane or take the footpaths to Scale Bridge and Mill Place like I did. At the time,I just made up my own walk from the 89 Landranger OS map. Hope this helps Cheers
