It's a bittersweet ending. All TK has left is his skills as a driver. No friends. No enemies. A world that has changed so drastically in 28 years, and so much that he's missed. He holsters his gun with a ghost of a smile and walks off with silver sun on his face.
Ray was traitor like the rest of Corrigan's gang, though he did seem somewhat remorseful. He was also the one who got TK into the mess in the first place. Nevertheless, he was a large part of TK's life, and I think he genuinely liked The Kid. Just that he liked himself more.
@@konigeurichderwestgoten4460 Yes, I found it even more painful when I discovered that Ray was actually the one to teached TK driving, turns out he was a very big part of his life.

This and Mafia II are the games that you can play more than 10 times from the beggining even tho you know the story. Driver Parallel Lines and Mafia II are true masterpieces.
*-they both drive old muscle cars* *-they can shoot multiple people with little to no injury* *-same hair and facial hair* *-same reason they kill: Revenge* *-New York*
I really don't think this ending has enough closure. TK doesn't get revenge on Corrigan, he's lost over 20 years of his life, and he doesn't really have anybody left in New York. It's kinda bleak. It wouldn't have been as bad if maybe we got a mention as to what happend to him in Driver San Francisco, but no, he's just gone.
@@zombiedeutsch TK's stories were like the sidequel/spin-off of the series. You'll notice the characters from PL didn't make any connection to anybody in DSF.
You know what would be awesome? A bonus mission based off Driver 1's final mission "The President's Run". When the cops assume you killed Corrigan, they place a citywide APB on TK, and the president needs to get to the airport. You have to drive a black Regina from Historic Downtown Jersey to the La Guardia Airport, all while cops chase after you. Oh, and also, Bishop's body in the trunk of the black Regina.
