European Reacts to DANGEROUS Chicago Downtown, Chicago 4K

- Chicago Illinois is a beautiful city whose tall skyscrapers and rough edges encourages individuals to grow and follow their dreams to the sky. We park at the Millennium Park Parking Garage and walk around the Chicago streets in 4k. The first stop is the Chicago Art Institute to see the famous lions. We then walk down State Street in Chicago to see the shoes shops and visit the Illinois Secretary of State office to get some business done.
We then head toward Lake Street in Chicago to see the famous Chicago theater. We walk down Lake Street all the way to the Chicago River where we stop for a bite to eat at Beatnik on the River, a hip restaurant to continue Andreja's birthday week celebration. We order verde gazpacho with crab and some wild mushrooms. Beatnik is decorated with Moroccan tea glasses, as well as Moroccan lanterns. The decor of Morocco is not the only thing influenced by this North African country, menu items include ras el hanout oil, as well as harissa, North African hot sauce.
After lunch, we check out the Chicago architecture along the Chicago River Walk. We admire the Wrigley building, Tribune tower, Trump tower, and the Merchandise Mart. We head up to the Magnificent Mile, or Milwaukee Avenue to check out the shops and get some Gelato at Eataly in Chicago.
After cooling down, we head back to Millenium Park, passing the front of the Trump tower along the way. We see the bean in Chicago, also known as Cloud Gate, but it closed for covid19 restrictions. After a long day in Chicago, we are grateful to get back in the car and face the Chicago Traffic home.

16:25 There is a major hospital in downtown Chicago called Northwestern. It is one of the world biggest and its one of the best that specializes in cancer treatments. It has it own helipad and several campuses and many tall buildings within those campus that belong to the hospital. This is why you'll hear sirens in downtown Chicago. This was my mom's main hospital. Best hospital imo I've been there many times

The USA is a super heavy weight country. The power can be seen/felt in the buildings, bridges, pillars and different constructions. Comparing the USA to Europe would be like comparing a heavy wooden table from the 1900 to an Ikea self-assembly chair. :p

There is one thing about Chicago I haven't seen in any other major city in the world which is: when you get to Oharee airport, you can buy a bus/metro 1-day pass for $10, 3-day pass for $20, or 1-week pass for $30 and you use it wherever you want in the Chicago metropolitan area. No question asked! Just use it, visit as many places as you want and have fun!! You don't have to worry about renting a car, paying for gas, insurance, traffic tickets, or traffic jams...
You can't go wrong with this deal. Let alone the blue metro line that takes you to the O'haree airport (1.5 hours from downtown) 24 hours a day nonstop. It's a lot better than New York City for sure. Also, the sales taxes are about 10% which is much better than that 19% in France or Morocco...Thanks again for this vid! Enjoy your Springtime in Chicago!
Some info corrections...Public transport card (physical or on phone app) exists all over the EU. In Finland for example, you can buy a daily, weekly or monthly card, which can be used for any city bus, train, metro and tramway. Transport ticket is taxed by 7 % (not 19% !) all over the EU. All services are taxed by 7 %, including hairdressing, foot massage, etc...Food products, for humans or animals, are taxed by 14 %.
That is a really good deal! Our bus service in Schaumburg was suspended due to Covid sadly, we were lucky enough to borrow moms car this day!
@@MorAcro In this part of the world, the government encourages people to use public transport to reduce gas emission. Up here public transport is 100?% reliable, and the network is covering every location that has constructions.

The Sears tower is taller in roof height. One world trade center is taller in spire height but not by much as you think, just off by a couple feet
