I never realized how funny Martyn Ford is. I enjoyed hearing his take on Eddie and Hafthor, but I enjoyed everything else even more. Lol His laugh is contagious.

It would be awesome to have that level of actual power in terms of stature. It's unreal. Being that size you can afford to be relaxed. That's why short guys who are vertically challenged are insecure and aggressive.

Never seen Martyn speak before. He’s a LOT different than I imagined and meaning that in a positive way. Regarding the fight I’d like to see beefs quashed after this because as I’ve found out on several occasions life is too short.

It was when they did the promotional news segment in Times Square for their TV show. I’ve never seen Brian look so done with someone’s bullshit before.

First time I’ve heard him interviewed, great interview and came across genuine and decent bloke, maybe he can fight Thor regardless of what happens this weekend, that would be decent.
I've been watching interviews between thor and eddie over the last 5 years since the incident. to see how eddie congratulated thor after his britain's strong man 2017 win i can see why eddie was just hoping for that same sense of satisfaction when he won the worlds but he didn't from thor. they were friends before worlds started and thor did just diminish his win.

@@Falconer710 oh 100%. My money would absolutely be on Martyn. Especially now, they are about the same size. I'm pretty sure Martyn is only a inch shorter and like 20lbs lighter. And when you're talking about guys that big... that's virtually the same size. The biggest difference is training. Martyn is more "bodybuilding" training oriented. While of course Thor is strongmen. But I still stand behind Martyn... probably because he scares me more (and I like him as a person a lot more)

It’s not because Thor didn’t say well done it’s because Thor diminished Eddie’s win in 2017 that’s what the fights about
And slandered his name and cost eddie alot of sponsor money because of the doubt that eddie cheated or not. Before that they were friends so it makes it even more personal.

I sort of get it... Eddie worked extremely hard to win world's strongest man and to have a fellow competitor and someone who you believed was a friend. Discredit that achievement and claim you didn't deserve it is a shame and would upset anyone.
Its not really about Thor not congratulating Eddie. Its about Thor trying to cheat and get credit for cheating, and pretending he didn't cheat, to try and beat Eddie, as well as throwing mud at Eddie's win to try and discredit the win. If none of that bullshit occurred, Eddie wouldn't care less. Thor was just a terrible loser. Lots of elite sportsmen are. Its part of the DNA that creates that level of success, invariably.
@@OrthodoxAtheist What's crazy is you can watch the video and Eddie's lift was clearly better. He clearly had more control with the weight. I'm not throwing down on Thor, he clearly was an incredible strongman and he came in and won the next year.
Its about colin brice apparently setting up all the events for eddie that year it has nothing to do with the double dip thats just what eddie is putting out to cover the real story
But it’s a bit of an exaggeration. Bad sportsmanship is common in all sports in big moments and if your competitor is emotionally unable to give you the props in that moment of your victory, then just let them be and enjoy your moment with family, friends, trainers fans everyone else etc. I get Eddie’s frustration to a degree, but I think he’s exaggerating how bad it really was. You don’t see footballers, basketball players, tennis players holding a grudge 5 years later because an opponent snubbed them a little bit. It’s a bit much hatred from Eddie in my opinion but then again I haven’t been in his situation.

His predictions and assumptions were completely wrong. Eddie looked like a fool in the ring and Thor was very seasoned on had true grit, surprised me though he is a VERY tough guy.
Eddie was like a 5yo retard playing a fighting game. Just try the one big power move over and over that everyone sees comming. I know the dude has the brains of a brick because of what he says and how he says things but this really surprised me.
