That screen is unforgivable. I have the System-1m, and the thing only has a 2-segment LED for all your patches and everything. After watching a couple vids & reading some specs on the MV-1... The MC 707 BLOWS this thing out the water as it already on its way to its 7th up & coming firmware update... They shouldve just made THE mv-1 a FIRMWARE UPDATE for the MC 707 with all the newer capabilities it has... The 707 is a monster of a machine already BUT would be a FUCKIN BEAST ON STEROIDZ with all the updated, fresh patches/presets geared toward a more relevant sounding HIP HOP /TRAP & DRILL genres - longer sample time & vocal recording... Youd be able to flip whole songs... take an accapella vocal & completely remix it in one machine wit NO COMPUTER or chop up and remix several accapellas and make sick mix tape style medleys or Dj an entire party or club from all the songs you just remixed... I REALLY HOPE THEY PREPARE A FIRMWARE REVAMP THAT ENABLES 707 users to take advantage of these features!!! It would make the 707 s i c k l y __ r e d i c u l o u s!!

@@sergiosensation6 ~ $700 US ~ C$1000 from what I've seen
@@sergiosensation6 Well for starters The MPC ONE with out a doubt and thats just because the ONE is my baby. And this may be just me not knowing any better because Im new to the game, but I just $500 on a brand new sp404sx which in my perspective, Ya know..
@@sergiosensation6 lol a used mpc 1000 with jjos? Probably more useful too hahaha
They're using the MV name again, MV 9000 coming soon ?????
Cant wait for more details. Does it export multitrack to DAW/SD? #RolandVerselab
Wow mang your subscribers have tripled in like a year, good for you mang, much deserved success.
The SP-404 has a mic 🎤.
that price is in the sweet-spot 😁. great size too. i love the step sequencer. i think an under-rated feature might be that built-in mic. that's soooo clutch when we need to sample real quick. a lot can be done with that! i wish the screen was bigger though so there wouldn't be as much menu diving.
Very funny video. I am glad to see Roland actually looking at a human's workflow and trying to design around it. Not saying this is a perfect product but I like the direction they took this in for sure.
I saw the article about this on Music Radar and thought, "I wonder what Ave thinks about this" and BOOM you posted this video an hour later. Appreciate you.
Bro, lmao. The beginning of this video had me cracking up. 😂😂😂
I'm doing a Roland Verselab MV-1 livestream, today (Tues.) at 7pm EST. Feel free to ask questions or just hang out. ua-cam.com/video/LSB_8iWsRLk/v-deo.html
Check out here my kind of comparison with the MV-8800: ua-cam.com/video/JKaIZHdVjVE/v-deo.html
Nice gear, but not enough features to get me away from the LED screens of the Maschines or Akai Pro MPC samplers.
This product is funny
2020 were in the future - the monochrome 1/2 inch screen 🤣🤣
Look seriously Roland is one of if not the most legendary corporation’s (next to Roger linn and Akai of course..😉) they have amazing history from Nintendo gaming music like Zelda to the Juno, Jupiter 8, jd800, mc393, 909, 808 but seriously...this must be a joke...8 tracks, old style workflow, limited screen - there are ways to keep it classic AND keep it relevant🤔🤔👊🏽
the roland 909workstation sample guru was the Realdeal to me.this machine is not even close to the 909.why they holding back on making bomb ass explosive workstation like before.atleast much more impressive than this.
well might have to go ahead and purchase the Akai live 2
I own a MC-808 and I am very disappointed in this Groovebox. They should have build from the best boxes they had. This is a waste.
Dude! You got me busting out in the first minute of this!!!!! Great video
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😜😂Boi I laughed so hard at the intro!!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾👌🏾MPC’s ain’t having it!!!!
I'm glad they sent you some it well over due my guy. Now they need to hit you with some high end gear.
so can someone help me?. I have 600 euros budget ,I already cook up on a 12 years pc desktop.... so between a verselab / sp404mk2 or a new custom pc build(with that budget). what you suggest me? the thing that confuses me is that i like a lot to take the first step to the standalone path . but I fear any regretion if i go with the verselab or an sp404mk2. any help much appreciated!
16 steps isn’t enough for me to do anything in. The MV-8800, this isn’t. Far from it. The price is MPC level but it doesn’t have MPC sequence length.
Dope that Roland connected. I think yours is the only vid so far. Great intro and beat!
