He is closer to 77 than 76 years in age. Give the guy a break. I doubt any of us could do better at his age. Be glad you got to see him live. Millions won't be able to. Many of those millions have never seen him...ever. Miss words, timing off, etc etc etc...who cares it is Jeff Lynne the legend and musical genius. One of the greatest of all time. And when he was on which was a lot of the time he sounded young, strong, and well like Jeff Lynne. Many his age can't sing anymore much less do concerts.... some 1 night after the other. Be thankful you got to experience him and the band.
One of the best concerts I’ve experienced at Roger’s. The slight imperfections do not bother me at all. Tells me it’s not some lip synced garbage some bands are doing. Amazing that he’s still singing his hits in the original key even in his late 70’s.
Hear hear an amazing artist would love to see. Taken me until aged 66 to appreciate his lovely music. Amazing man. Whoever is moaning shut the f...k up
Jeff Lynne is incredible at almost 77 his voice is so amazing! Such a fantastic Tour don't miss it if you can go...They are in concert in North America until the end of October 2024.
Jeff play his songs all over the world, and this in the age from 76 . This is AMAZING ! NOBODY can do it, only JEFF . He' s the GREATEST MUSICAN of the world . Have a successful concerttour 2024 ! Andreas Pohl, Schwarzwaldstrasse 22, 69242 Rettigheim, GERMANY 😂😅😊
I just love after the quick line that Jeff and the band are feeding off the audience love for them! All smiles! I cannot wait for Philadelphia! Love my Jeff!
I came here to post this! I was apprehensive and I almost didn’t go to the show. I’ve seen them twice. At the Hollywood bowl in 2016 and when they came in 2019. I thought better let them go out on a high, but I relented and went because I know this is it and I am so glad I did!!
Brilliant! This song and the Out of the Blue album were released when I was 14 years old; the song and album both blew my mind. I was at the Vancouver concert on Wednesday and now I can die happy.
Disagree! Watch all three shows again of this song, you can't tell a difference. Even here he's slow to pick up lines in a few spots.......He's still Jeff Lynne, one of the greatest ever.
@@robh6934I guess I was mainly referring to him being flat so much in the first 2 shows. I do notice on this show, too. I do question if the sound crew is muting his guitar. I keep seeing clip after clip of him strumming off beat, or not strumming. And I don’t think it’s a delay on the screens, bc everybody else shown is on beat. I’m still going to see him in October, bc the band sounds good. I have so much respect for Lynne, and hope he’s not unwell.
@@MattTexas agree with you. I was at the first show and he was awesome in spots, then slow to pick up his lines in other spots. I noticed the same in Seattle, and the same from what I've seen in Vancouver. Also depends on the song, Don't Bring Me Down was best at show #1, about as perfect as you could get, or as an example, Sweet Talkin Woman was much stronger in Vancouver. Still so good! Will be a sad day when there's no more ELO.
@@MattTexaswas at the Vancouver show, I think you are right in that they're muting his guitar. It looked like he was playing off beat and struggling to find the chords. Was also missing lyrics and cues. The first song (One More Time) was very rough, but I thought he got A LOT better and found his voice as the show went on.
I’m not understanding what everyone’s saying I’m a huge fan of ELO and saw him last weekend and he sounded so incredible the videos really aren’t doing it justice, the videos I recorded were flawless.
For Vancouver show: Rooney on stage at 8:00 / Jeff Lynne on Stage at 9:10 (9:05 the previous 2 shows in CA & WA) Setlist.fm is also good resource for show times & duration.
Saw them in Dallas Friday night. Fantastic as they were 6 years ago.

Who's complaining? He's fantastic!
I saw him in Indy Saturday night. Best concert ever! I've been to many concerts in my 75 years and this one blew me away. Jeff Lynne is a genius!❤
Venham para o Brasil 👏👏👏👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🎉
I love Jeffs voice still - so smooth, I cannot believe he is 76. He still
sounds like he did when he was young.

Amazing experience in Indy last night. I wept. It was BEAUTIFUL
Also here, looking forward to the Atlanta show, @Jeff! 😊
P.S. also on the "this music is the soundtrack if my childhood" train. 🥰

We'll be in Philly, too! So excited!
2 weeks! Can’t wait
Had the most amazing time❤
Was there! Absolutely phenomenal show! So privileged to get to see Jeff on this final tour before he bows out.
I can’t wait for Atlanta! Thank you for this! Jeff sounds great

I was sitting a section over. This was my favourite track. The cellists and violinist were incredible.
I was too, and agree.
Can't wait for St Louis in less than a week! Jeff sounds amazing! We will be screaming from the 7th row center!
Ill be in the row in front of you . 6th row Seats B 14,15,16. Should be a pretty great show.
We will be there too!

Slowly sounding better and better. Cant wait for the Cleveland show!
Was lucky enough to be there. Fantastic show ! So many iconic songs !
Why didn't I see you? I was there too!
I can hardly wait to see him tomorrow night in Portland!
I wish he would do a gig in Spain 😊
Yes, opener! ELO hits the stage about 9:10
I’m seeing them next week. I can’t wait. I grew up on their music and was never able to see ELO live.

Is there an opener? How long until ELO starts to play from the door time? preparing for the Portland show tomorrow. Thanks!

Why was melanie surrounded by a plastic screen?
I sometimes see drummers covered but I have no idea.
@@emiliocorsi6305 When there are musical instruments on either side of her the screen prevents the sound being picked up by her microphone.
@@jackiekrumhardt7373 thanks that makes sense. I wonder what’s different this tour from previous tours? The setup looks the same.

yup , saw ELO at rogets couple of years ago ,row 3 center , one of the best shows I've ever seen.....
