@@blackjohnny0 it's just ur setup I think, my k688 on max gain is not quiet at all, and tried it on my friends xlr setup and it sounds real good too, snagged it for only 49 bucks on sale crazy deal
Honestly I’ve watched many videos comparing this mix to the k688 and I think the fact the k688 looks clean and it doesn’t pick up as many like key typing sounds makes it worth the extra 20 bucks
How does it do with canceling out other sounds in the background? I’m thinking of getting it but I almost always have fans on when playing and they can be loud.
Yes, it's. But we don't recommend using it as a microphone for mobiles. It's rather tricky to set it up and even if you have done the setup, it's pretty opposite to what you look for mobile audio - the convenience.
@@FIFINE Between K688 vs AM8 which is better? Why are the control knobs placed wrong in the K688? Please provide a Single Rod Boom Arm either over head or Low Profile and am sure It'll make these mics more so the K688 if USB is Not Crackling or Wobbly Fit of ports Great competition to the MV7. @@MICKYLEAKSMGR-PRESIDENTCJWORLD Since they're in the same price range, it's the question of which one will suit you most. The AM8 is bassier, which is more of a streaming/gaming mic for noisy environments. While the K688 is relatively balanced in tone compared to the AM8. As for the dial, we would not say they're placed wrong, but just the compromise to the design, which makes the K688 sleeker than the AM8. Thus appearance may be another factor affecting your decision. The dials are improved from the old models, and they're less wobble, but they may not be as stiff as some customers may expect, but the USB should not make a crackling sound unless it's a defective unit.
Hi Melnyx, it's just a personal feeling, so it's better not to make it a recommendation. Let alone all the specs. just the capsule size makes all the discernable difference. If you need a convenient system for your phone, yes, the wireless lav mic could be a good choice. But it never fits any situation.
I am getting AM8 but I have heard the cable provided with it is 2.0 USB and I need to get a 3.0 USB because the 2.0 causes audio glitches, is that correct? Also, is it okay to use a type-C cable instead of the USB? because my laptop has both inputs (does it affect/enhance the mic perfomance by any chance?) @@FIFINE

grayed out
I dunno why, but I tried both K688 and AM8 - they are super quiet.
Have u messed with the gain settings?
@@Pinchifyy Everything at 100%, my face close to mic, I tried different USB ports... It's too quiet.

Sorry that both of them ran into issues. But if it's the intact one, both of them are pretty sensitive microphone in the dynamic microphone range.
@@FIFINE Yeah, what I saw everywhere was nice sounding, crisp, maybe a little bit too sybilant, mics. Sadly I have bad luck.
I just bought the nzxt capsule. Got it for the same price (with black friday).
Is the A8 better than the AM8?
That’s fire 🔥
Do you know if they would ship to lreland by any chance

Did you add any effects?
This video was posted AGES ago ahaha, but as far as I remember, I did not add any effects or do anything with the sound settings
broh los microfonos condensadores se utilizan mas cerca de la boca
I got that exactly same microphone
Are using usb or xlr for it?
when I made this video I was using usb. that was a while ago though

what microphone mount are you use???
This video was posted ages ago, but it was just some $15 boom arm I got off Amazon ahaha
Is there a way to connect it to the iphone
Whats an affordable stand i can get for it?
Look on Amazon - lots of affordable stands and boom arms :)
I got it for 55 dollars on prime day and it came with it's arm
Can u turn off the rgb?
Yes
Want to buy it but hope it deos not record background noise please answer
yeah it won’t record bg noise since it’s a dynamic mic, but u have to talk very close to it
I have this mic it does not pick up alotnof background noise as its dynamic so u have to talk directly in front of it
But any mic without noise compression will pick up noise. U should look into adding some noise compression to ur mic with some filters n stuff
Give me a PC.PLEASE...........
Does it come with boomarm
It does not
Only 65?
I wish the rgb changed color when u mute is there a option for this?
No because the cheap company couldn’t figure it out
Design flaw on a poor mic
just get the fifine a6t
How does it perform against the MV7? Is it close?
honestly, I would say yes - it is close. I used to have the MV7 and loved it though!
can you find a budget valve index?
gamestop they sell refurbished ones for 600

To be honest, I’m not sure

It’s a mousepad made by a company called mykeybrd :)
Are you using any software to change how it sounds?
I did not
How much is it though
Do I need the XLR to use the mic ?
It can use USB or XLR

DUDE I BOUGHT THIS SAME MIC AND IT SOUNDS LIKE GARBAGE! How did you get it to sound that good?!?!?!?!
This video was posted a really long time ago, but as far as I remember, I didn't do anything fancy or special with it whatsoever.
Thank you for the feedback I’ll probably just buy another one another time. Thank you for your time.
Too expensive

Just get a $20 lavalier microphone, with even better sound. Sure not as comfortable, but cheaper and better.
