    You should put together a complete video story of the development of that space. From removing the fence and old trees to what it is now. Awesome! You have me planting trees and flowers and I hate yard work :)

    Great job, you guys! Bravo, Aaron, for the tight drone footage, editing and your contribution to the whole project! Two heads are better than one; as are: 2 backs, 4 arms, hands, legs, feet & lungs! Having twice the muscles for a job like that is a blessing, too!
    What a difference that mulch makes! I LOVE the black/dark mulch, too! Laura, this design reminds me so much of a picture of a lovely garden in the UK that I saw in a landscape design book or magazine quite a few years ago! Instead of your driveway, the garden bordered a quiet street that was an entrance to some type of botanical gardens or park. It's been a long time since I saw that picture; but, I immediately thought of it when you first told us your idea for the layout of your Sprinter boxwoods! That garden used the same layout of boxwoods with the half-circles or "swoops" around a number of lovely tall trees. That garden, too, featured statuary, roses and other plantings farther back from the boxwoods & trees. I'd dearly LOVE to find that book or magazine again! I hadn't thought of that picture or book for a very long time. Thanks for jogging my memory!
    I'm really looking forward to seeing the rest of that area being planted! It's already changed so much! One question! Is the phrase, "stooled out" common to your area? I don't recall ever having heard it used; until by you this Spring. You've used it several times now & I was just curious about it. Thanks for sharing this wonderful project with us!🌾💜

    I have so loved your 'west side' videos! And not just the last 3, those were wonderful, but I remember last year when you were planting the hedge & pulling out that tree. I hunt for that show, then I find the once for pulling up the grass, then on to Part 1, 2 & 3. It's like a series that you can watch over and over, even though you know the ending. Love your fast-forward on the actual planting and the use of your drone. It was so effective when showing how the sprinter boxwoods were planted around the maple trees. Good job!!

    • @Bamboo4U2
      @Bamboo4U2 5 років тому

      Yeah, if she and Aaron create a playlist, they should include videos from the very beginning, including the two elms she had to have ripped out, the "scrubby" lilac, the concrete weir that had to be yanked out with an excavator, the electrical lines they had to bury, the irrigation zones they had to have installed and the two willows that had to be ripped out (followed by the planting of the 65 arbor vitae, the five red-point maples, the entire vegetable garden [with raised beds] and the other TWENTY trees she's planting). it's just spectacular. I love this channel.

    • @lauramcquade2438
      @lauramcquade2438 5 років тому

      I love them too! It would be great if they could figure out a way to group those videos. She's working on the chicken coop area right now, doing a great job, but what fun to see the project from the beginning. They didn't know what to do with it at first, then when the chicken coop idea came, and the chickens came, now the landscaping. I could see watching those together as a complete set, over & over! Maybe they'll see this.
