I have the rcd330 using wired to my phone and music will briefly stutter from time to time. Has this happened to you? Ive used various cables and it doesnt go away.
Great Vid - Was good to see these new features, I had no idea - Installed my new RCD330+ the other day, the rear USB is a godsend - Like you, I had the RCD360 in my Edition 35 when I purchased it.
@@--Nino-- Can also explore the option of fitting the upgraded DynaAudio speaker system too, if you want to keep it original. Would need to code the speakers to work with the RCD unit though.
The wireless carplay unit is a separate USB plug-in device. To be honest it’s not really reliable, sometimes it doesn’t find the phone. 😅 I’ve continued using the usb cable to connect the phone.
Watched a few of your vids. Great content. I’m based in Australia and have Mk6 R. Thinking to upgrade my head unit and got RCD340G available - is it the same with yours? Also, I don’t have OEM reverse camera only sensors (but thinking to get oem reverse installed). If I install this headunit, will it display reverse camera plus sensors?
Hi! Appreciate your feedback 😊 I believe the RCD340G is a variation of the RCD330 and RCD360. Volkswagen made different units for different cars I believe. And then there’s many variations on the market of these units to choose from too? 😅 In regards to your question about the camera and sensors, I’m honestly not sure. I know it supports reversing cameras, but also fussy about the input connection. You should try RCD330.com They have a good forum which may help you with your question. Do keep me updated with how you get on! 👍
@@WhatThePun Hey bro! Got it done. I got device 6RDO35187B, hardware 541, software 5537, bluetooth C210, Apple CarPlay: 210.81 The issue is, I can make a call via apple car play - but I can't hear anything, or be heard! Have you encountered this issue at all?
Your 2007 Touran should support RCD330 units. As the 330 units and above, are made to support vehicles from 2007 and onwards. You will however need additional cables to prevent battery drain.
Hope the above helps! If you’re after cheaper aftermarket solutions, then there are plenty of options out there. But you do need to buy the correct adapters, fascia trim, etc etc.
@@WhatThePun I’m after one which has the equivalent 4 channel power output of the existing unit so happy to pay for a know one based on your feedback. 330 it is! Is there a difference between 330 330 pro etc?

I’ve not had issue with the music stuttering before. Bit of a weird one.
Maybe see if you can try a different phone to see if it has the same problem?

It’s a such a great upgrade for our old cars 😊

Did the wireless car play come with the rcd330 or you isntalled it?
