- A day of cleaning luxury cars in the Cold . Its fair to say this day was a challenge but we got it done nevertheless. This was all filmed on my Go Pro
The cars we cleaned were the audi a3, range rover 2024, land rover defender twisted, porsche 911 targa.

I always carry a cheap plug in desk fan heater in my van, great for warming your hands up in between washes. It’s also great for keeping the van reasonably warm.
Very nice video. I wear Vessi waterproof shoes when detailing. My feet stay dry and relatively warm.
You've given me a great idea. I'll try using my Castelli cycling neoprene gloves for winter washing. See if that helps. Cold hands really can be miserable.

I don't clean cars for a living... but when doing my cars in the winter I have cheap heated glove liners with spare battery's... job done. No cold hands

I live in the south east of the UK and i did car cleaning today my hands were numb. I finished at 4:55pm and it was pitch black outside.
(Oh yeah there's snow coming in from the artic across the UK on Wednesday)

That’s really good going. I managed to get 3 done (because they were Audis, not due to ability😂) but I have always struggled to get 2 cars done at once. It’s a tough job, but thankfully I still enjoy it.

Did a full in and out job for a good mate of mine last week. Bitterly cold and it was a freebie because he’s a top egg.

Great vid I have just got that pressure washer I found it very loud compared to my karcher do you think the same or is it just me
89db I think. Most are that loud these days as an average

My partner had just bought a new Tucson and it has lots of dark plastic trim at the bottom of the doors and around the wheel arches.
What would be the best product for using on it after it has been washed.
Someone said the back to black spray but I think that would leave it sticky,

How do you keep your water hot? DO you have a tank with a pump or taking from the owner?
My work is fairly local now so I can take containers. The old days I had an old tea urn

how do you deal with the moisture on these damp days? I cant get a shine on the car because as soon as I polish it the moisture lies on the car and you cant see its been polished!
Honestly we try to avoid polishing outside in certain temperatures. We find you get great results just using ceramic detailers or foam sealants
Might be a silly question but do you use hot water ?
We bought a rubbish Argos kettle with us lol. Now we have a van again we will be taking larger containers for hot water but we got lots to do as we launch our detailing centre next month
@@epicautomotivedetailing not sure if you’ve seen them but you can get water heaters. I got one from eBay and use it all the time in winter, heats up whilst I’m doing the wheels and snow foam. By the time I’m ready to wash the car, take it out and the waters warm 👍🏼
With ya on them stupid wheel design,me golf has them easy to clean inside and out but that ridge does me napper in just collects dirt doesn’t matter how much I dry the wheels within a couple of min water has collected at the bottom definitely buying a pet dryer when the weather picks up
