Well that was fun! Hopefully the owner can keep it out of the mud long enough to sell it! 🤣
Be sure to check out the second channel for more vids and don’t forget to subscribe! Have a great weekend everyone!
That was a lot of mud 🤣 wow! Thanks Mitch, have a fun weekend!!
With so much mud you cleaned from windshield, hopefully the owner can keep it out of accident long enough to sell it! 🤣
If they came like this 0:08 you should call the cops not clean it and destroy the evidences
Ya 👍
@TheDetailGeek what brand of floor mats do you recommend if not weather tech. I always thought they were “the best”.
I was so surprised on how there is such low mileage on the MDX. Acura still to this day adds good quality materials into their vehicles. Great job on the car! Have a good weekend everyone!
Hey Botdog, good to see you. That was shiny bright by the time Mitch was done. Best carpet award. Have a great weekend!
@Botdog Have a great weekend. Stay safe😊
Have a good weekend!
@@joelbuchanan471 absolutely, great to see you as well!
@@cynthiahopkins7090 thank you Cynthia!
I like that you filmed the vacuuming at the end thanks for your huge amount of time and effort you put it to your work.
Thanks for watching!
Hi Mike! Long time subscriber.
You may not know, but you inspired me to buy a house and build a drive way, which has been completed just this week
Yesterday was the first car wash session and I had a blast. Just so you know, in Israel, buying a house on land with a drive way is something only rich people can afford, but I managed.
And most people at this level don't even care about their cars.
As always great job and awesome content!
That is awesome!
Mike is actually his "Brother", this is Mitch.
@@1024lafwas about to say the same thing. This ain’t Mike! This is Mitch, the main brother doing these details! Mike, is the sweet tooth, play around type brother.
@BigCarris_53_64 well, he gets a shout out too. He certainly inspired some laziness, and we all need that some times
@@dgurevich1 sometimes yeah!
Pressure Washing, vacuuming, extraction...my 3 fave things about these videos, D-G. And as for my RAV4, it's a 2007...about 43,000 miles on it.
Mitch thank you for bringing back the guitar outros !! It's like the perfect touch after watching your videos
Hi Mitch it's so nice to see a vehicle not trashed with garbage and other stuff this Aura is looking so good and sweet
That owner takes great care of the car you can tell. Interior was in great shape and basically clean. Outside was pretty clean after just pressure washing, no dead bugs or anything. They just wanted to have some fun with the old MDX. Nice to see an old car so well kept!
there is another channel where 1, 2 sometimes 3 guys will find an old car that has set out somewhere forever and they take it and clean it up. the one guy that does most of the cleaning does not use near enough rug cleaner. they focus more on the outside, but they should still try harder than they do on certain areas. i have never looked at one of the cars you clean and say, wow, he could have done a better job. i have never thought that about you. always amazing to see the transformations.
Appreciate that!
5:25 This is the first time I’ve ever seen an Acura MDX come from the factory with headlight washers. I never seen one with them before since I’m in the US, but I’m guessing Canadian-spec models are a little different. DRLs being mandated is one thing since the US-spec versions have that, too, but we have no such requirement for the headlight washers. Definitely interesting to see, though!
It’s my birthday today. Also, finally a car that doesn’t look like the inside of a hoarder’s house.
Happy birthday 🍰
Thanks Mitch 👊👍Appreciate you my friend 🙏
That's a sweet vehicle once again! Some lucky person is going to buy a very well-kept vehicle. As always, great job Mitch 👍
I was totally wrong on my guess. This appears NOT to be a mini cooper. Seems very smart to me to take a car to a Grade A detailer like Mitch to get the most from selling a car. Now the Acura looks almost brand new, but sure clean, bright and bound to make a great impression on prospective buyers. I was happy to see the shots where you were on top of the car doing the wash and the application of the protectant. The leather seats cleaned up very well. The back of the passenger seats in front were filthy from kids shoes I think. An amazing result. Have a great weekend Mitch!
You’re right, it sure did clean up good and will fetch top dollar I would think. Thanks Joel, have a great weekend!!
Mitch is the King
It’s so refreshing to see the transformation…. Normally before I start rinsing to get the initial dirt off , I’d use a presoak to ease the strain on the pressure washer
I just recently wondered what a detail would be like for a well kept car. Now I have my answer.😁
So many good shots in this video!! 😍🧦😍🧦😍🧦😍
I’m surprised a lot of detailers don’t use two mitts when detailing! Try it, it cuts down on wash time. Or vacuum brushes for interiors. They make some decent ones that don’t scratch trim and also cut down on time.
The overhead angle while vacuuming is really cool!
Perfect detail as always.
The Acura looks amazing, Mitch! What a transformation!
I can't imagine why anyone would take a luxury SUV through the mud intentionally, those weren't meant for mud bogging, they were meant for bad weather
wtf
Mitch did explain that the guy was selling the car and decided to take it for a rough muddy ride and then get the detail. Just a bit of fun I would think.
Why does anyone buy a car?
To drive it.
If an SUV can go mudding then go mudding. Whether or not it's luxury shouldn't matter, they paid for it. They can do what they want.
F .U. N
It’s a Honda…
Yay you recorded the final vacuum. I know you said you wouldn't when I requested it a month or two ago, but it was nice to see it
Pure VisualASMR with the pressurewasher scraping off the dirt ❤😂 its like a reverse paint job 😂
I absolutely loved how this detailing came out! I love love all the detailing you do on the vehicles and that you don’t stop until the vehicles look spotless 🎉
My god. That moment you showed us that clean car. You did an amazing job, my friend. I follow your work for a while and decided to become a member. Wel done,....Well done
Thank you! And welcome to the DG Nation!
That was the cleanest dirty car I've seen you detail. Great job!
I agree
LOOKS show room ready
For a 2008 that Acura looks amazing, no rust visible on the rocker panels or bottom of the doors. Very well taken care of. I wonder if it was bought in the states originally
I got to say I’m loving, the satisfying transformations keep up the good work, my friend👍🏻
It’s refreshing to see pride in ownership from a customer for a change
I have to admit..sometimes I skip the driverside powerwash, however, not this time. It was xfar too satisfying watching that mud get blasted!
Acura is a high dollar mud wagon great job as always geek
You WORK very hard doing your detailing, but I’m with you, nothing is better than the instant results of pressure washing!
Dodged the do you clean the top of the car question today I see 🕺🏻
Hi TDG, not sure if its been already asked, but do you film ALL of the cars you detail? or only ones where the owner agrees "yeah i dont mind having my car's detail process filmed"
and of those that do agree, are there also those who agree to be seen on camera?
also, loving the detailing conent!!
I think he films all, as a way to cover his butt. If someone says he damaged their car, he can prove he didn't. But he only posts the ones with permission.
Not entirely sure tho
You can use Maguires Quick Detailer spray wax on the glossy interior plastics. Spray a microfiber towel, apply it onto the surface and immediately buff off with a separate clean microfiber towel. Makes it shine like new and helps minimize minor scratches and such.
I agree about the door jambs! That's one way I judge how a vehicle has been up-kept, the door jambs on my cars get cleaned every wash.
Your videos are one of the only times i can watch a full 25-50 minute video anymore, you are restoring my attention span, great work you do! Just recently got my first car and with watching you and other detailers, it is always clean! And that says alot, its not easy when i live on a horse farm. Keep up your good work and entertaining videos!
This vehicle had been taken care of over its life time……
It's Friday ❤❤❤❤ have a wonderful weekend Mitch 😁
Mitch every filthy or messed up cars you touch turns to gold. I believe you're a topnotch detailer in the world.
That car is in an immaculate condition. Makes for a nice change, from the usual messes left for him to clean up.
Looks like Mike got hold of that acura and took it for a spin 😅
Great job Mitch. Hope Mike is well?
Totally awesome! Great job as always!
There’s nothing so satisfying as a filthy white vehicle being pressure washed in your studio! It’s absolutely my favourite part of any detail. That lump of mud shines pretty brightly after you tackle it, another great one!
Acuras are well built rounded especially the interior.
Have you ever blown any paint off with the pressure washer? A few years ago there was a recall on the pearl paint on those MDX's. The paint on the trunk and roof would peel off.
I watched so many other detailer I though I watching detail geek 😂
That's the cleanest interior I've seen.
Great way to start a Friday morning.
Beautiful MDX, looks new!
i am sure people have asked about it before, but this was one of if not the only time I have seen you wash the top of the vehicle. is there a reason why you dont show it more often ? i love your videos by the way.
What extractor are you using now? Looks like you have upgraded from the Bissell I used to see you using. :)
It's a Mytee!
so cool and so gros at the same time
I appreciate everything you do. Your hard work and dedication is outstanding.
Love every second of your videos brother! Keep up the amazing work.
Just a little tip those door latch's can break or freeze if it's cold and wet. You might want to be care full with them with water. And it might be a good idea to re-apply some kinda lubricant to them after spraying them.If they are metal they can rust. Most of them are plastic now a days but it's still a good idea to add a little lubricant to them.
I like the power washing and the foam spray best. Its like you are painting or un painting. Hey i like even watching the soap rinse off dishes.
Nice clean up and he probably just wanted to take it off road it’s a SH-AWD WHY NOT 😎
If you would have ever told 20 something me that I would enjoy friday afternoon with a cup of coffee, and watching some Canadian fella wash cars, 20 something me would havel laughed long and hard. It has been difficult to determine why I enjoy this, but, the truth is, my job rarely affords me the chance to see something truly finished and accomplished. For what it's worth, I am a part of a system, and I just plain dont get the chance to see something through. When the work leaves me, I don't know who it goes to. I don't know what is involved. I don't know who it is for, and I don't know how the end consumer feels about it. So, watching Mitch, I get to see the entire PROcess (yes, that IS the Canadian way to say it). I get to see Mitch do it each and every week, rarely is there much deviation (and that's FINE, cuz it has been proven to work), and, I get to see Mitch's business grow. From all those at home washes, to now his own shop, I am very, very happy to have watched you, Mitch! Oh- that coffee? Yeah, Tim Horton's! (keurig)
Appreciate the kind words! ❤️
Mitch you never disappoint. Great job as always! Have a great weekend.
Sage level advice on the floor mats! Thank You!
A 2008 with around 60k miles, yeah I'm sure people are lining up to the owner's door trying to buy it
What is a good brand of rubber mats? I've been looking for a while, and I haven't found much.
Have you ever tried spraying on the tire dressing then working it in with a medium brush?
i think it would create swirls of tire dressing instead of an even layer
So glad he brought it to you.
Been watching for a cpl of years now and have always wondered if the steamer can mess up any electronic around dash etc and on door panels? Also getting the carpets really wet with wires etc under the carpet??
Holy moly!!!! Man that was epic!!!! Great job Mitch
Thanks!!
382nd! I keep ALL my vehicles as clean as I can. No food or drinks, except water, are allowed. Especially my S550. My Ford F150 is used to take things to the dump, and hauling small things. My 300CE convertible is used for summer afternoon drives, when the weather is nice. And last but not least, my 1967 VW bug, that’s just driven occasionally, when I feel like having some fun out and about. I have them all detailed once a year,in the spring. To have them all fresh for the summer. Love your channel and videos! Roger in Pierre South Dakota USA
Nice
Awesome job on cleaning the DMX
It was so great to see a car that did not have an all black interior! We searched a long time for such and found 1 for each of us within 40 miles of home.
excellent job, excellent outtro!
I did the Same Process on the Rubber Floor Mats, The Only Chemical I like is the Pinalen Floral Delight Cleaner (aka Pink Stuff)
I don't even wash my own truck but these videos mesmerize me.
Man I was so close with the Year
For those of us who have never owned a vehicle this nice it is pretty galling to see someone purposefully get this nice MDX so dirty.
I definitely guessed wrong! Can't wait to see the transformation!
@Jennifer_MB, glad to see you again. Agreed with you, but we guess hard the clues. Transformation is extraordinary and beautiful Mitch’s job. We(everyone) are happy to get satisfaction as Epic magic his job. I think I should give Mitch make good A grades. 😊 Have a beautiful weekend, my friend.
Yippee Jennifer made it. Have a great weekend!
@@cynthiahopkins7090 Great to see you too Cynthia! I agree my friend, A+ and Extra Credit to Mitch always! He is the best detailer in the game, and no disaster detail can defeat him! You have an awesome weekend too - stay cool!!
@@joelbuchanan471 Woot woot, the gang's all here! Thanks Joel, you have a great weekend too! And I'm digging your profile picture - nice glow!! 🔥
What age do you think someone should be when they start detailing? I’m starting a detailing business and I’m only 13 years old. My first real customer is my friend’s dad who is gonna pay me 120 bucks for a full detail
5:21 wait there’s a light there?! 😳
Just looks like a reflection of the lights in the studio
I've been following you for over a year now, and I'm always amazed how you can make these vehicles look so good, after the abuse some of them receive. Just our of curiosity, how many towels do you dirty up on a clean up? Love ypur content, wish you were in my area.Thanks.
Hi Mitch 💙
😂😂 great work and it was so satisfying seeing all the mud getting off that truck. 😊😊😊
Lovin the updated music
early! hope ur well mitch
26:46 oh Fat Lip / SUM 41 very nice :)
Great video Mitch, wow that was one very dirty car, well done bringing it back to looking it’s best again.
I don’t recognise that model, maybe we don’t have them here in Europe🇪🇺.
I've watched so many of your videos, you've got to be totally exhausted by the end of the day.
Yes I agree with the door jambs and I also wipe around the underside of the hood and the inside edges of the tailgate on my truck.
That MDX was very well taken care off, it looked dirty but it wasn't lol, great work 👍🏼
Hey Mitch, Great Video!!
I'm wondering do you ever clean the ceiling of the car? And if you do what products do you use?
Vehicles of yesteryear is so beautifully made.
I have an Acura RDX, so I searched Detail Geek Acura RDX so it's close. I want to see how you clean it so I can clean mine. I have a Jeep Wrangler Sahara also. I, for sure, don't take the Acura off-road. The Jeep is next. Love your channel.
Hey. I am not sure if you can fit a bigger truck or full sized van into your shop, but here is a video request. I would like to see you detail a full sized van or if you can, see if you can detail something like a Freightliner M2 or an International LX. Those I would love to see. So if you can, please add some of those to your channel.
Amei a limpeza, o carro está muito bem cuidado parabéns.
Salute Morning Mitch! Best man for the job! You're the best!💯
My 2005 Honda Odyssey has awesome, nice carpet like that MDX does. My 2021 Kia Soul, however, has something that looks similar to black felt...and everything sticks to it!
Excellent work as always! Love these videos. Can I make a plea - I do think it's sensible to use a mask or respirator when steam cleaning interiors as you are creating an aerosol of steam and whatever dirt and contamination is on the surfaces. Best not to always be breathing that mixture in, even if in a reasonably well ventilated garage. Safety first ... !
Yea, it will be too much. Have a good one.
