Too good to go definitely work/content related so not out of your budget. Really enjoying the challenge videos with Tammy, she was always going to be good at the challenge being a fellow Yorkie lass😀. I'm struggling to understand why people feel the need to make negative comments about any of your videos ... if they don't like what you do ... why are they watching ??
It's a bit of fun. Great to do these things with a willing friend especially when competition involved!

Dear Carla, I am learning so much from you and Tammy (I hope I have her name right) about my own spending habits and eating habits and thinking habits.
As an adult, I, too, dig my heels into the ground if someone forcefully tells me I cannot do a thing. I'm old enough now to think through my decisions and adjust them as I find I can.
I'm a strong believer in boundaries and don't object to learning from my mistakes. I refuse to allow others to trespass on my decision making process, though, or to say who I am.
I see that you're achieving a lot, I think, just not what others might have you do or the method they would have you use to make change. But those expectations and methods are for their lives. You have your own life.
I love your natural humor, your honesty.
You're alive: becoming who you are becoming, always becoming, and you do so with both heart and mind. It seems wonderful being you. ❤

Loved this series it is really hard not to lift stuff we don’t need most of us buy things without thinking. I don’t understand people getting angry with how you spend your own money . I look forward to watching it only sorry there is only one left. You both did really well and if we are honest with ourselves we can relate to it x
Must admit this series has made me think what I spend extra money on besides my necessities ( food, essential toiletries, medication etc..)

Everyone else agrees that the TGTG money goes back in the pot, so therefore its incumbent upon me to disagree. Apart from being contrary for the sake of it, I'm also hoping for a spin-off series of "Carla in Penury" and "How To Become Top Dog in The Debtor's Prison". The opening scenes will be a vignette of you dragging across the bars, one of the mugs that ironically used to provide you with an income. We were only talking about Prisoner CellBlock H the other evening and I think this could easily gain an equal cult following. Mrs. M would make a fantastic governess and Josh can try and smuggle in nail files in pies he bakes in all that pyrex!

Really enjoyed this series of videos, i am trying the cash budgeting thing again and like you shocked at how much you question things before you buy them with physical cash. The comedy between you two is brilliant. For all the negative nelly comments - why are you watching if you dont like the video? I think the too good to go video is definitely work related and therefore not to come out of your budget. Yes you are doing calorie crush but ate very little from the bags. Even if you had eaten more of it you would have been honest and told us so it would have been your choice. So people seem to think because they watch your videos they then have the right to tell you have to live your life and what choices to make. Keep being you Carla as your videos cheer up so many people.

Too good to go should not come out of budget, they were a business expenditure same as purchases to resell. This was an excellent experiment and regardless of actually result you have learned a lot and that in itself is a success. X

it would be really interesting to see a recap in July of what you saved - i.e. how many times you would’ve went to the bingo, scratch cards you would’ve bought, meals other people paid for etc. you might not be under the £100 budget but you still must’ve saved loads!

It’s not a fail if it has made you think about your spending money. Can you each both quantify roughly how much you have saved this month vs an average month? I think it has been very successful for both of you! BTW, I was thinking during Carla’s other Too Good to Go video, that a bag from somewhere like Greggs or Costa would have been a cheap effective solution for Tammy’s Bridgerton Picnic without needing to spend £12

Great video, 100% shouldn’t count the good to go bags , put the money back in your budget! I don’t know how you keep your cool sometimes with people trying to dictate your life and how you live it , it baffles me why they care so much !

Even if you end up with a deficit you have both still "won" as it has taught you things about your spending patterns which you can take forward and change if you so desire, which is surely the point of the challenge in the first place.

I agree if it's for work it should go back into the pot... Although maybe during a low spend period I think I would have thought slightly more creatively for new content to not spend so much on the TGTG bags and saved that money for other things.
I don't know a drawing challenge, making a meal on a budget, a book/film review, viewer questions, you used to do some lovely craft videos.
I dont know, but I'm sure your audience would understand your predicament if you did. If they want to watch your content for you, they would watch you do anything. Good luck for the rest of the month.
