Slotlady when I am playing and someone is watching (thinking about playing) I explain how I play but indicate that they can play the way they want. When someone is playing and I have already folded,, they might ask me what they should do. I emphasize how I would play it implying that they should make their own decision. My first time playing I caught a small pair, first card up matched my pair, so I maxed out all the remaining bets and ended up with four of a kind. Another time I had an ace and something below a six so I wanted to see the first card. When the dealer turned over the first card, it was an ace so I maxed out the remaining bets. The second and third cards were the remaining aces, so a really nice payout.
I love this game and would like to offer you a few tips on how I've had success on it. 1. only take the second card if you don't at least have a pair UNLESS you're ahead and have a couple of pay cards. Don't chase a win on the 2nd and 3rd card. 2. Don't play any of the side bets. I've had many sessions playing for 6-10 hours and usually walk away ahead using these 2 simple rules. I do like the 10x on a full house or 40x on 4 of a kind. Like Matt Damon said in Rounders -" you're just treading water waiting for the one good hand per hour".
To me, dealers make the game. Their personality and interaction make it enjoyable or not. You had a good dealer, therefore, you enjoyed the game. Sometimes, this game just doesn't roll your way. I love your easy mannerisms. You would be fun to sit at a table with. Great video. Thanks.
Ouch! This was a bit of rough sailing...like booking a luxurious cruise only to find out that, due to a software error, you ended up getting a ticket on the famously unstable storm-chasing ship, the HMS Puke-y-and you couldn’t get a refund so you just had to roll with it. And then, because you are gutsy and fierce, you also decided to enter the Carolina reaper pepper-eating contest on your first night aboard the HMS Puke-y because you figured it was either go big or go home. Unfortunately, the HMS Puke-y sank toward the end of your cruise-but you managed to cling to a life raft and be rescued by the SS Pepto Bismol. And then...uh...I...uh...I seem to have lost control of this analogy... But anyhow, I enjoyed watching this video very much from a learning perspective (did not enjoy seeing you lose your perfect stacks of chippies though). I had never seen Mississippi Stud played until now, and I have learned that I could not handle the Carolina reaper pepper-eating contest on the HMS Puke-y. There is an excellent chance the nausea and sourness of watching the chippies disappear into the Bermuda Triangle would react with the capsaicin and cause me to spontaneously combust, only to have my charred remains be recovered among the wreckage by the SS Derp-Finder. I think I will just stick to Texas Hold ‘Em or blackjack and leave the super gutsy card games to awesome people like you. 😁
I actually think it can be a fun game! I had a better session here! ua-cam.com/video/l3-5n-cLGMg/v-deo.html You can also read about the odds here: wizardofodds.com/games/mississippi-stud/
Patience definitely. Very fun when your winning but can go on some bad swings. I’m up $3k in the past week betting 5-10$ every time so I can’t complain 😂
What I don't like about Mississippi Stud is you are constantly chasing hands. Unless you get a pair of 6's or better, you're betting blind and chasing after the winning hand. My opinion of course. I have seen some people hit some monster hands. Saw a $4000 four of a kind once.
I like playing this game. What I do not understand is that there seems to be a lack of table space for Mississippi Stud on casino floors. There is a wait list to get on a game with great casino odds.
Tough game. Big difference b/n this and ultimate texas hold’em is you have to put your money up BEFORE you make a hand unless you are lucky enough to get dealt pocket 6s or better. The odds of a pocket pair is not very good, plus unless you have Jacks or better you are now going to push. In UTH you put up your money after you make a hand that you think is worthy of a bet. So MS stud is much riskier imho.
GREAT DEALERS in Deadwood, SD. They whistle for Player’s pocket Aces. Nice! Don’t know much about Mississippi Stud except how to spell Mississippi 🧐. Except it seems first 2 cards w same suite, can pull you in to a dead bet. Do you need all 5 cards for a Flush? Or do less count?
If you hit that royal, striaght flush, or four of a kind...the winning is crazy big. 500x for royal? is like 60k of course, its less than 1% chance ...but even a full house.. is 10x.. at 3x bet of 15$ which is 45 x 3 =135 x 10 = 1350$ hand pay..so just 1 full house will get you a hand pay. Flopping a full house is 700 to 1 or about .17% meaning you less than 1 percent chance of getting hand pay. a quarter of a percent...but that doesnt mean its that bad..cuz you also can get four of a kind, a pair, etc.. so this game ...either you get really rich and lucky or dont win at all.
Hey Sarah im glad you stood in there till it was bearable. I dont blame you for leaving, that game is a lil weird, me im a blackjack kinda guy. Hope you have a HUUUUGE win coming up! Cheers.
Its like playin flop only in holden 13% I think to hit flush on flop 8% to hit set with a pair str8 not sure but can't be 20% hit a pair would be maybe 26-30% im guessin and clipboard or full house or better has to be 4% or lower I think pair higher than 6s has to lower % of winning also so this is what your facing casino has 65% advantage minimum or 3.25/1.75 edge
Hey! Maybe is a dumb question but what that means in the progressive bet envy? Should you have this amount as bet to qualify to the jackpot? Love the channel! Thank you!!!
Is it my Nerdy, glasses since high school.. poor 👀 vision, or maybe my TV pixels are yuk. I’m having such a hard time seeing the numbers on the Dealers cards.
It's a feast or famine game it seems, but it is one of my personal favorites. One time I was dealt pocket Q's, first card up Q, second card up Q--I didn't even need the third one! My one and only quads but it was a very nice win! Anyway, it's fun but you have to be willing to hang in there through the rough spots.
You’ll get em next time! All depends on the deal with some favor towards the house. But you know I cleaned out the table the one night lol. Happened to catch. Fun stream!
Don't like to give advice but on a four card flush with high cards you should triple up on the final bet as you are getting six to one odds to make a flush plus you have a chance to win with a high pair. To be honest I always triple up on the final bet with a flush draw as the payoff odds are so good. Hope you don't mind my advice but it should help you out in the future. Really enjoy your videos.

This game clearly favors the house. She has to make at least a pair to push.

She plays extremely loose. Chases anything just because she wants. If she played with house rules, it would be much better.

You need all 5 cards for the flush, but if you bet the 3 card bonus, it pays with a 3-card flush if it’s in the community cards. I hope that helps!
