Funny story about this game. I have always been a high limit gambler, playing mostly BJ and Pai Gow (both cards and tiles). I was walking to the cage from the Pai Gow table with a load of chips in my hands. Dealer who I know well, beautiful Philippine girl is dealing Let It Ride. She calls out my name and says to come play an hand at her table. There is only one seat open so I walk over and bet black on all three squares plus the 3 card bonus. We're talking before the deal and all the other players are listening to us. I tell her she better give me a good hand as I pick up 3 Kings. Well that's a nice start so I flash the cards and tell her I expect the next card to be the last King. She turns it and damn if it isn't the fourth king. Everyone at the table is looking at us like is this a setup? I collect my $18,000 and give the dealer $2,000 plus $200 to each of the other players at the table and tell them to have dinner on me, and walk away.

@@userac-xpg Well it was at Harrahs in Lake Tahoe so I doubt collusion could possibly happen. Sometimes you just get hit in the face with the deck. Lucky cards is all.

I wish we had this game in my state but not a single casino in Iowa deals it. I’m a dealer and told my boss about this game and she said “that seems pretty ass backwards.” I then told her, that’s why I love it!

I like Let It Ride. I usually play that when I can't find an open single deck blackjack table. The first time I played I was down to my last $100 of a $1,000 buy in & caught 3 aces in my hand with the dealer's 4th ace. Got both bonus $1 & $5 plus won my hand with $25 on each circle. It sure made my night.

If you change your bets on the 3card bonus to just $5; and leave your $25 bets on the bottom you will WIN more. That allows your bonus to be in play and not cancel out a winning pair on the bottom. Let it Ride game......
best is to not play the 3 card bet at all since it has more than double the house advantage of the base game

So what I wanna know is how come you always tip the dealer at the end of the video ... but not the dealer who was there through the entire first half (and then some) of the video?
The dealers pool their tips per shift at the El Cortez. So it really doesn't matter who she tips as long as it's on the same shift.
I tip at the end so I can get an accurate win/loss for the session. Most casinos pool the tips.

Dealers hate this game. I'm a dealer, and it's a really hard game to win. All the games are pretty difficult to win at. Mississippi Stud is a really good game.

I like this game but 3 to 1 on a flush is skimpy. If i remember right 3 card poker pays 4 to 1. I hope Vegas is open in September

3 card poker is 3 to 1
you get 8-1 for a flush, unless you are talking the 3 card bet which is a sucker bet that you should never make.
Dealer pretty swift with the cards but as the saying goes win some lose some stay isolated 👍
you do realize you dont have to pick up the cards to make signals every single time right? you CAN just use hand signals.

that's incorrect. Roulette for example has a house edge around 5.26% Let it ride has about 3.5% house edge when played correctly. This means do not make the 3 card or $1 bets as they are both more than double the house edge of the base game. Also always pull first bet unless you already have a winning hand. Draws do not count, pull bet on 3 card flush and straight draws, then if the 1st dealer card matches your hand let it ride on the 2nd card.
Even experts say this game is difficult. The house edge is 3.51%.

by comparison Roulette is a 5% house edge, slots are 10% or more (penny slots being the worst), Keno is like 40% or something awful. Let it ride is a good game just don't make the 3 card and $1 sucker bets which have a huge house edge. Also make sure to play correct strategy which is simple. Always pull your first bet unless you are dealt a pair of tens or better (always pull bet on 3 to a flush or straight unless 3 to a royal, then let it ride IF the first dealer card matches your hand.) This game is mindlessly easy and can be a lot of fun at a full or nearly full table. The hands take a lot longer and you only lose $5 or $10 per hand. giving you a lot of entertainment and time.

actually the base game let it ride is only 3% house edge with correct strategy so its a decent game. The 3 card and $1 bets are atrocious though, never should play them. Also since the table max payout where she is playing is $25,000 there's no good reason to bet more than $10 per spot as betting any more means you get shorted big time on the payout if you hit a royal.
