This is my go to game when the slots have been kicking my butt! The casino's I go to normally have a low bet of two dollars with a high of five dollars. You may not win a lot, but it's a great social game when the table is full.

Definitely read up on strategy. There are much safer ways to hedge bets, minimize losses and maximize wins. Still a sucker's game though.

At the Golden Gate in 2005, table was $3 and no 3 card bonus. I was having a great night, poker, a few 3 of kind. I put a $1 for dealer to play along and I hit a royal flush. Dealer won $1000 I won $9000. I always play but haven't had a hand like that since. I love El Cortez and the D.

I played at Mohegan Sun Casino last Thursday and had a progressive $5 Bet. I had "AD","KC","KD", and dealer had "QD", "10D" all i was missing was Jack of diamonds instead of king clubs. The progressive I woul've won would be $323,000

I won $30k playing Let It Ride at the Flamingo in Las Vegas on August 2010. I hit a Royal Flush on like the tenth hand the first time I ever played the game. I pulled the first $5 bet back or I would have won $35K. I had $1 on the $20k bonus which I later read was a sucker bet. i will never get another 5 card royal flush in my lifetime.

Let it Ride seems like a fun game, when played with other people. As solo against banker, it feels like the banker would win most of the time. Of course, it could go bad even with a semi or full table; still, I think odds would be better with more people. Though I get why you reserve only for yourself; not everyone wants to be on camera, and it's easier on everyone when its only you, the camerawoman, playing on the table.
That said, it's cool to see someone livestreaming so many different card and slot games. I've been to the casino quite a few times but never played table games outside of blackjack. It's thanks to you I've learned how to play this game and Ultimate Texas Hold'em. Kind of expensive for my taste at times, but I'll definitely give it a good try one of these visits.

As the cards are normally dealt face-down, it makes no difference to the odds whether or not there are more people at the table! Glad you enjoyed the stream!
You have the same strategy as me & unfortunately the same results. The dealers at Planet Hollywood told me they nicknamed the game “let it die” because people keep losing & dealers have to push chips all the time. It’s often the only empty table at my local casino. Many casinos are replacing it with high card flush. Hope you enjoyed it (that’s what matters!). Great video. 👍🏻

I've never played this game. I heard it was rough. I've done really well on 3 Card Poker. I've only played it a few times, but once got a Straight Flush
Loved the stream. Let It Ride can bleed you dry if the cards don’t fall right. On pairs below tens, most players will either rake the first bet back or let it ride and if the card doesn’t hit on the second then take the second one back. Just a tip but play however you feel comfortable. Good luck next time.
Brian Boone the pay outs don’t seem to justify how hard that is to hit.
I don’t play this game so I don’t know (I just play regular poker). Is it a single deck?
If so then the odds of spiking trips is only 8.4% with two cards to draw and then 5% with one card to draw. Those are tough odds so if it doesn’t pay below a pair of 10s I would always want to pull my bets back.
Or am I missing something?
Also, the payouts seem quite low on this game based on the odds. But then the really hard hands to make have very high payouts.
It seems like they try and drag you along with the hopes of scoring a big payout... but we all know how that works out :)
the correct play is to always pull the first bet unless you have a pair of tens or better. The odds are terrible to draw with 2 cards to come. Even if you have 3 to a straight flush, you should pull the first bet and then if the first dealer card doesn't ruin your hand then you let it ride.

Fun video, Let it Ride is my fav table game at casino. First time I sat down to play was dealt JJJ, after that never have gotten the hand again. haha. Personally, I ALWAYS pull back my bet unless it's what's called a "no-brainer", automatic-win. THUMBS UP tho to you SlotLady, keep up the fun content.

that is correct play, always pull first bet unless already a winner. Always pull second bet unless already a winner or have 4 to open ended straight or 4 to a flush. Those are the only times the odds justify continuing with a hand that is not already winning.

I guess one downside to having the table to yourself is everything goes faster. That's one thing that's on the plus side about a table full of people (as long as no one smoking) - it takes longer to lose all else being the same :-)

Playing the quarter on the 3 card bet is the only thing I really have a problem with. Other then that the game pretty much plays itself.

Fun game. Strategy doesn’t matter if you’re not getting the cards. Gotta have patience and bankroll to play this or Mississippi Stud. When you hit, like a full house or better, it really pays. Thanks for an enjoyable video. Tides me over to my next casino trip

If you enjoyed this you should play Mississippi Stud. Similar except you pay to see the cards instead of taking your money back but if you get a good hand you can increase your bet. Also you have more chances to push

I played this at a casino on Freemont St in Las Vegas, they had 3 progressives, Royal flush, 4 card royal, and 3 card royal in your 3 cards. I got the 3 card royal dealt to me for a cool $2800. But then I sat next to girl on the regular strip casinos where they had no 3 card bonus (only the 6 card bonus), she got the same mini royal dealt to her and gets nothing. Gotta find the right place!

I like Ultimate Holdem or WPT Holdem better - get 7 cards to make a hand instead of 5.
Have you ever played Mississippi Stud or Criss Cross Poker? Not sure if they have them at El Cortez, but both very fun (and volatile) games.

in the casinos they call this game let it die, cause you can sometimes sit there forever with nothing.......see 1 bet when you have a small pair but pull back the middile if no potential

No, there wasn’t any hand in my three cards. The 3-card bonus is for my three cards only.
With Mississippi stud you get 2 cards and dealer gets 3 cards, you only put up your anti bet first, if you had got those pair of jacks then you could triple your anti bet on all 3 spots in the back!
If you have a low hand pair you can either scoop back 1 unit or tuck it under the middle bet to see the first flop of the dealers card. I wouldn’t let it ride on the low pair. Only let it ride on pairs or tens or higher.
At the 25:21 mark, why didn't you let the flush ride? but 2 hands later you let the pair of 10s ride?
You bet 1 and 2 huge, and $ bet minimum, so when you have hand pair you let it ride!!! Or you have to bet same amount?
The three main bets have to be the same amounts :)
My rule when playing a game with "side bets" (additional bonuses) is the bonuses are there b/c they rarely pay out, as apposed to the actually game. So I HALF my regular bet. In this case I would be doing $20 each across the board, and $10 on the bonus bet.

the side bets all have a much higher house advantage than the base game, so just don't play them
always pull the first bet unless you have a pair of tens or better. Don't ever let it ride on draws until after you have pulled the first bet and see if the dealer card helps your hand. Most often it won't and you are just throwing an extra bet away. If after pulling the first bet you have 4 to a flush or open ended straight, then you are getting good enough odds to let it ride.
Betting way too much on the 3 card bonus. Its a way to hedge your bet so if youre betting 15 in the 3 original bets the 3 card bonus should be 10 max.
Just what I was thinking. And the payouts for the 3 card bonus are horrible. The odds for getting 3 of a kind is 1 in 425 times.
Exactly! She was playing it backwards. So even when she would win the front bonus would take away her winnings making her break even. Oh well still fun to watch.
@@Jappe132Totally agree. I honestly dont even play the three card option. Maybe there is math that says a certain amount should be bet on it, but to me, its just a sucker bet that ends up killing almost any winnings you get on the 5 card hand.

you don't let it ride all the way on small pairs...at least most people don't. if you let the first one ride? cool but if she don't pair you up or make trips, pull that second one back!

If your betting $15 for the basic bet, put the minimum on the 3 card boans. It's house edge is as bad or worse than the 3 card bonus but will only cost you $1 vs $25.
That $25 bet dips in toy tour basic card winning hands quickly.

no, actually you should always pull the first bet starting with a 3 flush. (unless 3 to a royal) The odds of both the dealer's cards being your suit are about 1/20 and since a flush only pays 8-1 you should pull the first bet, then with only 1 card to come if it was the same suit the odds are only about 1/5 so the payout odds are higher than the chance to hit so then you let it ride.

I don't know this game very well but I have a question, @ 10:44 when she has a pair of 2's could she pull back her first two $15 bets and still won the $25 single bet. Doing the math she's losing 45 and getting pay 25 that doesn't make sense. If you pulled your first bet of $15 and then hit 3 of a kind you would still win 30 to 1 on the $25. So if you pulled two of the $15 dollar bets and than get paid for the $25 you would be $10 ahead because lose $15 but win $25. I would like to win $10 not lose $20.

Just some constructive advice I would put up $50.00 on the three card bonus when you play $15.00 on the other bets. but that is just how I would do it. i'm not complaining.

The 3 card bonus spot she’s playing only applies to her 3 cards. The bottom 3 bet spots apply to a combo of her cards and the dealers.
As Steve mentioned the 3 card bonus spot is for her initial 3 cards only, if her 3 card hand was for example "456" she gets paid on 3 card bonus also...
That was a pretty tough table... Usually you'd think a few more 3-card poker hands would come out for you! What was it, 1 straight and 3-4 flushes in dozens of hands? Looking forward to the next vid! Always fun with you darlin'.
Place lower amounts on the front three bets and at least double on the three card bonus. You are going to make more money on the three card bonus. And always play the dollar bonus bet, you would kick yourself if you got a great five card payout. She makes a common mistake, if you get a pair in your first three cards let it ride, if the first dealer card does not help pull back the second bet.
I didn’t bother to play the $1 bonus, because with the bet I was making, it would have been over the table payout maximum, so it wouldn’t have made any difference if I had gotten a royal flush! I hope that helps!
Never ever would I ever play this game.
Sure getting a pair is less than 2:1 in a 5 card hand in a 52 card deck.
But they they say you can't win with less than a 10, which means your short 8/13 cards to pair with and make 1 bet back.
This game had no sustainability and is purely made to take your money. Crazy to play. :P Still like your video's though. Keep up the goodwork.
Not to mention the chance of getting a flush is technically 1/4/13 or if you want simple math 1/6 ish and they are paying you 3 to 1 on a flushed hand. Even paying 5 to 1 would still make the casino money in the long run.

The hand at 15:40 where you got a straight the dealer knew you had a straight, he was trying to help you. If you watch he didn’t pull the first bet right away. Second bet he tapped the bet area to show you shouldn’t have pulled with a gut straight draw. He was trying to tell you that you made a hand
His 17:48 hand with trip twos he pauses longer than he normally does. He’s a card counter and has some tells
Ya every time you win in his second flip card he is slower to flip it over 20:24 he did a slow flip compared to the losing hand flips
